There are 2 documents in MCE that deal with Ground communication, GSX&AES.pdf and Grnd_cmd.rtf. When I say any of the: I'm heard and Ground gets back to me. But when I say anyting from GSX&AES I'm igrnored. MCE ignores my calls in a networked config from either RC4 and PF3, now it doesn't want to communicated with the ground crew. What is wrong with me? Do I need a rewrite of my code or...? Please advise. Thanks, Dirk.

Hi. I downloaded MCE yesterday and I installed it but when I tried to open it it says the English US speech engine required for MCE to run isn't installed yet. the wizard will direct you to the language installation control panel. please click <add a language> then browse for the US language pack select <English> language pack and click <open> to get a view of all English language variants. select <English (United States)> and click <add> to install it but then it opens the date and time control panel any help would be good.

With the release of the pmdg 747 today. When will it be supported ?.

Does anybody have MCE (on win10x64 + p3dv3.3) working with RC4 installed on a WideClient? Please confirm here, I'm having a trouble with MCE sending the commands over LAN to WideClient in the above configuration. Meanwhile I'll get VoiceAttack and create a similar script to check what is going on (if it makes any sense). Thanks, Dirk.

SimRandomizer 3 is a freeware tool that not only offers the possibility to randomize multiple settings of MCE and PF3, including the FO voice, the arrival gate and the name of the departure and arrival procedures. It also integrates PF3 and MCE in a way that the MCE-FO is now aware of the arrival gate and the names of the departure and arrival procedures in PF3. The MCE-FO can be asked about these any time you want (they are automatically written into voicescripts). In the Advanced Options there's NumLock key. What is its functionality? Is it like Del key, but unlike Del key to disable recognition it's a toggle type? Recognition On/Off. What is No focus on click? What is Strict Checklist? What is Talks a lot What is Keep Mech on Push Ticked box Interface AES must be good for GSX as well, is it not? Thanks, Dirk.

When this Option is ticked, does it try to change the affinity of mce.exe and what else does it tweak? My concern is that I'm using ProcessLasso for assigning affinity and Optimization may get in the way. Thanks Dirk.

Hello, I know I can launch MCE before P3D, and this is ok. But what if I need to launch it after P3D is running and RC4 (on a networked machine) has been connected as advised by the tutorial? I checked P3D menus and there is nothing related to MCE. Do I need to go to Window's Start, find MCE and launch mce.exe from there or something like that? What is your technique? Also, what is the functionality of fsInsider.ll foun in DLL.XML? Thanks, Dirk.

When I request the external ground power to be disconnected there may be two kinds of responds (I guess they are chosen randomly): 1. something like "I didn't get that, did you say disconnect the external ground power?" If I then say "yes", the GPU is disconnected properly. 2. something like "The GPU is in the process of being disconnected...". But it never gets disconnected in that case.

I`m struggling to get the MCE/PF3 voice recognition to work in P3D. First of all a general remark : I could not get any readback to work before changing the PF3 Hotkey 10 key assignment to something more common than the default CTRL-SHIFT-\. It worked after changing it e.g. to SHIFT-c. Maybe has to do with my German keyboard and special characters. 1. All works well until the taxi clearance. No readback recognized. It is not quite clear what exactly has to be readback. E.g. PF3 now includes the taxiway names. Do they have to be readback ? 2. There are documents for native FS ATC and RC4 handling, but not for PF3. A clear document or transcript for PF3 would b…

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you the heads up, if you don't already know. But after you do the latest update, you will need to go through all your EXE files (FSX & P3D etc) and set them back to run as admin in the properties menu. Rob

If one adds a 'response/reply' when entering a Voxkey command, when running the defined command the voice used in the defined response is not the same voice as one's configured FO voice. Is this a bug or is there a reason? Cheers, Stuart

I just wanted to share what happens and see what others have happen. well recently I have been flying online, so I have had to alter my setting with MCE. This is what I have done in the way of setting it up, but prior to doing this I made sure my button 2 on my yoke was set as PTT 1) set ATC to Native and activated it 2) under general turned "talk to ATC" to off 3) in the .INI set VoxATC=1 4) in the .INI set notifyVatsim=1 i restarted MCE, everything seemed to work fine. Many apologies if this is answered elsewhere, I haven't been able to figure out the specific search terms to find what I'm looking for! Is there a way to map a joystick key to hiding the MCE window and to mute microphone input? I've seen that by default space/ctrl are push to talk keys but I would rather have a way of "latching" these states so that I can step away from the PC/answer the phone etc.

Where can I find documentation on the new interfaces with GSX for fueling, particularly in relation to the Aerosoft Airbus X family? I have seen on videos that one can request fuel from the ramp agent and the FO then advises the amount and GSX then handles the 'real time' fueling. However I'm not sure what the process is. Does one still have to initially use the AS Airbus Fuel Planner first? Does one still initiate Fueling start using the RSKey on the FO's MCDU? If some familiar with the AS Airbus X, MCE and GSX could advise the best sequence / procedure to adopt it would be much appreciated, or point me to where I can find the appropriate document…

I followed the instructions for making flows, holy cow it works!..brilliant thanks, i imported the flows for the Emb 145 and my 170/75 E jets have come to life. This add on gets better every day. I am again having problems with GSX as it has stopped responding to voice commands. I recently did the factory reset, repeated voice training and all was well, i can tell if it is going to work or not as when MCE starts up, several menus appear for a short time GSX should be one of them..if it pops up …

Hi Gerald, Please, what are the "magical words" to contact tower when established on loc and glide so that Mce can send the correct code to PF3 ? Hello All, my setup: classic FSX "Gold" (i.e. not Steam); under Win7 "Home Premium" 64bit , Today I decided to give the MCE demo a go. Installation, microphone calibration, and speech training all went perfectly smoothly. But during the tutorial flight (LFMN-LSGG) I ran into a problem. Initially all went very well. Copilot (CP) listened and responded to commands exactly as advertised and expected (except for some minor newbie blunders caused by myself ). Which proves that the setup as such is OK, mic calibration and speech training have been done properly, etc. "Monitoring" was switched off, though (but appropriate comments were still made, e…

Is MCE updated for xp11? If not, when do we expect full update and compatibility?

There is a new ATC program out called PF3. It says it will work with any voice recognition program, but doesn't provide many details. Just wondering if anyone has tried MCE with PF3 yet... http://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/

Hi, irrespective of me saying "ground, p/b to the right or left", I get pushed back to the left (from the p/b driver's point of view. Is this a known problem? Thanks.

Sorry for opening up a new thread and basically repeating myself but my previous comments are tucked onto a lengthly thread. Downloaded and installed the latest version, did a factory re set and repeated voice recognition training nad now MCE recognizes my commands with much more clarity. GSX now works fine...not so much luck with PFE can't get the VR process to work but this seems to be a work in progress. In the promotional materials for MCE, i see it says that Feel There Embrear 175 and 195 is supported but i don't see reference to it...am i just missing it? Many thanks.
