Hi Everyone, My name is Sam, just purchased MCE after the Demo failed to work, It seemed like a software that I would need. Needed a virtual first officer to help in my payware cockpit. I purchased the Aerosoft CRJ software a couple of months ago and fly it a lot. I have installed the MCE, read the manuals, watched tons of YouTube videos, and most of the posts on this forums. My question is, does the MCE CRJ700 F\O read and do or just read the checklist. When I call for a checklist, he only reads it, I have to perform the required actions (eg Safety check , Originating check etc..) In the reading I have done, I can't figure out if there is an advantage for me to try MCE. I mainly fly A2A aircraft like the Comanche, AT6 and C 182 or the Connie. I either use PF3 as my ATC or Vatsim. I guess my question is, since I don't normally use a co -pilot on any of these aircraft, is MCE worth trying for this type of IFR flying and aircraft?

Today, i wanted to start a flight with my Q4000, but my FO didn't recognize some commands (and flows) anymore ! Obviously he doesn't know some Q400 specific commands like battery master, dome light, nav light... For example: I asked him as usual to switch the dome light on "please switch the dome light on !" FO answer: "I have no Idea how I can do that" !!?? If I ask him to switch the main,aux,... battery on, he confirmed - but no switch is moving ! What the hell is going on there ? Hi im using the demo just to see what its like or worth buying. Im finding when i talk to co-pilot and ask him to do something its like talking to two different people at the same time. For example ill ask to release parking break and ill get a response of ok parking break released but at the same time ill get the same voice saying the opposite thing and is unable to do the command. it end up the the command no being carried out (also end up with me swearing at co-pilot lol ) This happen quite a lot with a lot of the commands Im sure its something im doing wrong or have set up wrong but i dont know what. If anyone dose id be grateful...and probably swear less too!

Hi, I've just got MCE for a few days and still trying to learn MCE features. I have some questions and it seems to be related to this panel Captain Sim B737-200. 1) When I ask the FO to set a heading for example "Set heading 2 2 0" I can see that MCE understand the command, because it is showing by text "Set heading 2 2 0" ............. but when it is executed it doesn't stop at 2 2 0, instead it turns for 1 or 2 rounds until it finally stops, but not at the value which was requested. 2) It is actually the same when I ask for "Altitude / FL" it goes all the way to 40000 ft or 0 ft keeps rotating although the gauge numbers stops there. 3) …

Hello All, I was wondering if it is possible to call a command created in vovoxkey from a script. I am trying to Gert the jetjetaay to move with David's NGS flows, specifically prepare to push back and departure. I have created avoxkey command for "move jetway" which will press ctrl-j. How can I call it from inside the flow?.

Unfortunately, this problem persists.Today, before taking off from Paris Orly, speech recognition stopped responding and no take off flows or check lists. The FO announced the speeds during take off so programme is still functioning but had to shut down and restart MCE to get flows and checklists back. Also, some days voice recognition works fine, but other days i might aswell be speaking Latin eg on final i will ask for "flaps full" and FO responds with "roger flaps up" which is a little frustrating. Hi All, Does anyone have the flows like the stuff that David Jerky has done for some aircraft?. I have searched thelibrary, could not find any for the QOTS II or the 777.

PF3 connects fine with XP11 and MCE, and I can use voice myself to communicate with PF3 ATC once Freq per Hint dialogue is dialled in, butw when I ask the FO to handle ATC, he acknowledges but says nothing. He also adjust the radio randomly to a frequency which doesn't seem to exist in the Hints dialogue and then doesn't say anything to ATC. I have Closed Captions checked. Is there anyway to keep the Closed Captions dialogue displayed permanantly or should I now turn it off and let the FO read from the log file, as mentioned somewhere in another post. Can you give any advice on how to get the FO handling Comms with PF3? Regards, Stuart

I have created a custom checklist for the RealAir Duke. When starting MCE, I am getting following Message: "Missing separator (--) at line 21 ..." I am sure that there isn't any missing separator. Regarding line 21: is this refering to checklist item no. 21, or to the line 21 in the txt doc. What can I do? Kind regards Arndt

I tried uninstalling MCE Saturday and assumed that it was ALL gone. Not so...Tried to launch P3D v3 and got a popup: "missing files, etc ..need to reinstall or remove certain .dlls" There were probably 50 or more to remove. Restarted P3D v3 with same routine except the sim did continue loading. I have since removed many more .dlls from FSX-SE, P3D v3, And P3D v4. Sorry to report that today when launching P3D v3 I am still getting that .dll message. Suggest you have a look at your uninstaller Neal Howard

Just out of curiosity, I've watched a couple of YouTube videos of people using MCE and FSX ATC. I have noticed that the ATC box is not popping up and they are still talking to ATC thru the PTT. I am curious as to how they do that. I would prefer NOT to have the popup ATC box appear. Am I missing something somewhere in the settings? Thanks Rodger

Here is a paragraph which appears in the AVSIM review which was one of the first things to be seen in your promotional documentation The demo is fully functional too, but is time limited. It will run either 20 times or for ten days, whichever happens first. After that, it will still work – after a fashion - but with greatly reduced capabilities. This caused me to get almost no benefit out of the demo as it turned out I only had three days not 10 and I left it for two days. Hi, I installed my FSL Bus in P3D4.1. Everything went fine but when I wanted to start MCE it says it cannot find that aircraft or something along the lines. Thanks for the help Peter

I just wanted to mention that since updating to the latest version my FO randomly says things and in the red text that appears I see “attention” appear. Now I’ve checked the aircraft and all’s well, it’s happened in the CRJ, Dash, and the PMDG 737. has anyone else seen or heard this? I ask as today it interrupted a PF3 readback and caused my FO to miss a freq change. I corrected the missed freq, but curious if it’s only mee this is happening to. Rob

Hey Gerald, I got the license key, installed it, but when I go to open FSX:SE I get the message: Flight Simulator is attempting to start "MCE" Do you want to run the program? I click yes. Nothing happens. So I start over and click "No", and attempt to start MCE manually. At this point I get a message that says: "Could not retrieve FS data! Try restarting FSX, then MCE. Hi, Just to make sure that one can use MCE ULTIMATE with another voice program. Why? As Support tech mention in a previous email, MCE doesn't work well with PMDG within FS9. Unfortunately I can't use FSX with my computers. Three for the view and one for panel only. In a multi monitor config the views computer (i5) doesn't have enough power to show excellent sceneries. That's the reason why I choose stay with FS9. The issue is, when you ask MCE: "turn right heading 250" It shows correctly up left: heading 250 But turn heading 163 In another hand, MCE works perfectly for ATC. How does that sound to you? What is your advice? Thanks

Gerald, I tried using the licenser.exe and when I clicked Generate Registration Text, it said that the Serial number was incorrect. I copied and pasted it from my invoice. So I sent a copy of the registration text to [email protected] several days ago but still haven't heard anything. Did I send it to the wrong email address? Rodger

( I finally sorted my install problems by manually copying the x64 .dlls across to the P3DV4 folder. ) All is running ok except I am losing my F/O and all replies during the flight. Often seems to happen during cruise or the descent phase. Does anyone else get this problem. ? Thanks for generally good support.

In a previous post I was told because I downloaded FSX:SE after MCE, that I needed to update MCE to the latest version. I did exactly as the reply stated, but still can't get MCE to work. I continually get the pop up box telling me I need to click on fsx.exe and give administrator privileges. I have done that box 20 times. The box was originally checked to begin with. So I uncheck it and start all over again. But I cannot get past this step. I am totally frustrated because I have administrative privileges, I keep giving administrative privileges and still cannot get it to work. Worked fine until going to Steam Edition. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve tried a few different things with no luck, so it raises the question will my FO start the clock when leaving the gate or takeoff? I was originally trying to incorporate it into a flow but no luck so maybe I’m not doing it right.

I just transitioned from boxed FSX to FSX:SE. I cannot get MCE to work with FSX Steam. Not sure if it's compatible or if I'm not doing something right. Can anyone help me figure out what I can do to get MCE to work? Thanks.

Hi guys, I struggle with the MCE within the FSX on my rig. Speech recognition runs fine so far but when I try to get to the Flight Mode the sim crashes down. But I want to select manually-not via speech. What I have tested by now: 1. FSX menu option on direct way out of the sim by selecting an item causes CTD every time. 2. Sometimes it works when I select "FORCE TO FLIGHT MENU" from the taskbar icon by clicking right. Sometimes.
