I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem whilst using MCE and PF3, both are fully up to date. I have done two flights now where I have had to cross another runway to get to the one that's active. What I am finding is that all my clearance etc and taxi clearance is fine, until PF3 gives me a " callsign, your clear to continue taxi at next runway". Once I get that I then find that my FO stops responding to ATC, I have tried asking him to "contact ATC" and see if that kicks him back into life, I have tried taking the radios myself and then handing them back to my FO. But no matter what I tried to do he seems unwilling to continue talking to ATC. So…

First of all having done a couple of flights, I really enjoy MCE. When I fly fullscreen my voice does not get recognized after a couple of minutes, I have to press the micro (off,on) on the MCE UI to make it work again. Copilot does not correctly see the position of the seatbelts switch. During checklists he is challenging my "on" even so it's on. Sometimes the radio get's not dialed in correctly even so he says it right. I am using the Aerosoft checklist with the respective flows, as this is more complete. Might that be a problem? I think it is finally solved. I thought switching off verbose on the Aerosoft Airbus had solved it, but it started doing it again...that was probably grasping. Don't want to jinx myself but after unchecking 'enable Optimizations' the problem appears to be fixed. Several flights completed with FO staying with me all the way..

So far I like the demo, . In the engine documentation nothing is said about cowl flaps. however "cowl flaps open" works as well as close. I could for the life of me not get it to open an increment of full, say like fifty percent. I've tried everything, 50%, half, etc. Any tips? Same goes for the prop pitch and mixture. Can I have my copilot as well doing that in increments?

The FO seems to have the wrong speed tables for the flaps on the Aerosoft A321. Even though the speed has decreased below the yellow marking on the PFD when I call for the next flap setting (Flaps 2, 3 and 4) the FO responds "Speed to high for desired flaps". The speed has to decrease 5 to 15 kts below the yellow marking before he is willing to extend the flaps. On the Aerosoft A318, A319, and A320 this works fine and the FO's speed table is in line with the yellow markings. Just with the A321 something is wrong. Apart from fixing the speed table how about an option to make the FO extend the flaps even though he thinks the speed is too high? He shoul…

I have had a brief look at scripting checklists and "triggering" events seem to be missing? E.g. Copilot action/response/checklist is triggered by a certain altitude/speed/whatever. E.g. Copilot is announcing altitude/speed/whatever at certain intervals during a checklist. Thanks Michael

Been using Vox but got fed up having to repeat myself so gave native ATC a try the other day and was pleasantly surprised. I like to be vectored to airports even though I have nav data, but the only let down is I can not find a way for the co-pilot to take over the radios. Does anyone on here know a way to do this or is it just not possible with native ATC. Thanks for any help. Peter

The topic title says it all: I'm not able to use the custom speech training. Using the latest version of MCE (2.7.0.6), Windows 10 64-bit. When I choose my training script, then hit Start, then Next in the speech training window, I get a Speech Training error saying that my recognition language isn't set to the English US recognizer, even though I know it is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I thought I'd open a new topic for this. Just installed 2.7.2.6 and having problems. Using PF3 3.6.0. VFR flight from PHNY to PHLU. As soon as MCE displays the red text "[MCE] Looking for changes...", the sim (P3D V4) freezes (visuals frozen, rain sound still playing). Soon after that happens, the MCE ATC register states "PF3 not connected" (right after start-up, MCE shows the right flight plan). Before 2.7.2.6 was using 2.7.2.0, patched to 2.7.2.5, and wasn't having this problem. Also using TrackIR5, ASP4 & ASCA & UTL. It also happens with ATC mode = Native. Seems to have to do with the keypresses MCE does while initializing...…

Hi When I click or change any menu options... MCE says looking for aircraft changes and crashes. P3D v4 and PMDG 747 v3. Has anyone had this happen?. Thanks

I have now done 5 flights, and during cruse my FO stops contacting or tuning to the next ATC frequency. I have to tell my FO to swap the freq and then contact ATC, I have confirmed that he is control of the comms. Has anyone else seen this from you FO and he stops responding. I Have tried this with Q400 and the B738 PMDG Rob

I just saw a video where the user had MCE and set it up so the copilot flew the aircraft (A2A Connie). I thought you had to have a mike and voice to make this all work because the user said nothing but the copilot (lady) was calling out the headings and turning the plane and, I think, in contact with ATC.

Hi, I try to modify some checklist and flows for the PMDG 738 NGX and i'm struggle to get Testet, one hundred percent to work as a answer to the preflight checklist.I have try to modify the B737NGX_Check.txt with "tested, one hundred percent", tested, 100% " but nothing seems to work. If only use "tested" everything works fine.. The co pilot replyes with, "what was that again, teted one hundred percent, ok, confirm" Any workaround this?

Hi i used MCE for some time on XP 10. Now I'm using XP 11. I uninstalled MCE and then installed it. I wen't through app wizard fine. I could hear and it responded to me audio command. Thus the audio input and output should be correctly chosen. I start XP 11 then I start MCE. MCE correctly finds the right aircraft and the right checklist. BUT, when I give any voice command absolutely nothing happens, and there is no audio response at all. I have no idea what is wrong. Any help?

Hi Is there any way or any plans to integrat the jar design ground handling with mce, so ot can be used like gsx? I know it handles the jar design a320 ground services but ground handling is better. If not is there a way to make the catering and loading last a bit longer, when you request loading the stais apear but are gone in a few minutes as if everyone has ran onto tje plane haha. Oh and keep up the awesome work on this, :)

I've just received a warning from my anti-virus software (Norton 360) that lockit.dll in MCE contains the Heur.AduML.B virus and that lockit.dll has been removed for safety. Obviously MCE software does not contain any viruses, so it's what I believe is called a False Positive alert. More importantly, will MCE still function normally without lockit.dll, or should I re-install MCE, please?

Don't know if this has a dedicated thread, but I just wanted to know...I have been running FS2Crew for my PMDG 737NGX and 777, both voice and button, and I really do like it. I asked once about MCE but never got the chance to try the demo. But after looking at several YouTube videos about MCE, I'm impressed. Especially with the interface with Radar Contact. SO - not to start any wars or fights (and I know what forum I'm in here), what are the main differences between the two programs, and why would you recommend MCE (if you would) over FS2Crew? Hi guys...just trying to get back into the swing of things. Trying to run a basic vfr flight in the a2a Comanche. But when I load up MCE I immediately get the following error. 'Could not locate information for the following aircraft'. MCE will terminate. I thought MCE could work with any aircraft even if it didn't have specific fancy flows and scripts in place. I need some ideas regarding voice recognition. I want to use only the ATC part of MCE, together with PF3. No matter what I tried so far, the recognition success rate is awful. I remember I tried one year ago and then gave up for that reason. Probably that has a lot to do with my "German" english, but I went through the speech training several times. I even tried to train the speech engine special ATC phrases word by word. Inside the speech engine it gets recognized 100%. But in MCE I get all sorts of stuff recognized, sometimes not even close to what I intend to say. The success rate in another program is 100%. Not sure how they do it, maybe they just listen t…

Hi, I had MCE installed and working perfectly. My PC crashed and I had to build a brand new PC and installed all P3D v4 and addons. However, MCE is not working, I generated registratation file using licser and emailed it on Saturday. I am yet to receive my licence file. AmI following the correct process?. Thanks

Good evening everyone, Now its highly likely that I am or have done something wrong. I have been struggling with getting ATC to acknowledge my requests, and I think that I have found what it is. Normally I let my FO do all the coms, but from time to time I need to jump in and make my own request. Anyway if I use for example, "Ground", "Callsign, requesting push and start" I get no reply at all But if I use "Callsign requesting push and start" it works okay, and that is the same for other ATC positions as well. I have to drop the position I am calling from my request. Now I don't know if this is a new thing that was added and I have missed the info, or I…

I've recently built a new computer based on Windows 10. I've uninstalled my previous copy of MCE and installed it on the new machine. On running the program, I followed the instructions to install the English US speech engine, but on subsequent attempts to run the program it still asks me to install the English US speech engine. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and would appreciate any pointers in the right direction. Thanks, Steve

Hi guys, just installed MCE for Prepar3d V4. I can't seem to change the PTT button. In fact it won't register any of my joysticks. Any thoughts on how to trouble shoot this? Thanks Jason
