Will MCE be available for v4? Have you already worked on it?

Hi everyone, I've just purchased MCE after trying out the demo. Looks like it is an excellent add-on. I've gone through all the documentation and the User Manual seems to be an Installation Manual only. Is there a comprehensive manual available or will I need to learn from the forums and videos?

I checked everything many times, all admin rights, Fsinsider loading ok.. MCE .dlls all in the correct folder , installed in 'program files x(86) all fsinsider files in place, fsinsider.ini is in place. program runs ok until Co Pilot enters cockpit and the I get message in red top left corner ""looking for changes to current aircraft ....please wait...." screen is frozen and stays that way, Tried default aircraft still the same...uninstalled re installed ..same.. tried different aircraft, same. Win10.. P3dV4.. I do have Fs2Crew installed could that be blocking it ? should not think so, not running the program. MCE.dll folder is full and in P3dV4 root …

Hi guys, I'm new to simming but I've recently bought FSlabs A320 for P3D 4.1 (Awesome) I've now also bought MCE to assist me and although I appear to have set it up correctly (the voice at the end of the setup wizard tells me so) I cannot see anything when I open FS labs within P3D. There is no new add on listed next FSUIPC for example and it is clear that I am talking to myself. I've had a look in the P3D folder and there is an MCC folder in the addon list with a series of files in it but I cannot see the user interface listed anywhere when I operate P3D. No doubt it's something that should be obvious but what is it that I'm missing? Anybody?

Finally Majestic Dash Q400 has been published for v4 Only a small demand ;-) Is there any chance to get the Majestic-Dash 'flat' buttons be operated by the CP in p3dv4.1 ? greetings Gerolamo

Hello, on my last flight with MCE and PF3 I encountered one or two problems. Even though I was "flying solo", as confirmed by the UI, MCE was answering ATC calls. I tried activating and deactivating the FO, and restarting MCE, but the FO was there to stay. On my last flight I didn't have this problem, and I'm pretty sure the only thing I changed was to activate the TGS voice in PF3. Will cross-check that. While he was handing ATC, he was often talked-over. I guess he didn't use the PF3's game key? Followed instructions from this thread Unfortunately, it's still doing it. One incident per flight (not every flight) and the only work around is to close MCE and restart it. Do you have a de bug log or something similar? Thanks for any help.

I am using the cirrus console and I would like to change the default assign key "del" for PTT in MCE to use something like "ctrl+/". When I try the change key option in MCE, I get a message telling me that I do not have a joystick connected. It doesn't see my cirrus console. So I am stuck in a loop. What can I do? I was informed by PF3 support that I should not use the DEL key, and change it to have the same one in both MCE and PF3. Pierre

Hola support. I downloaded and installed the latest version of MCE and now i have a new problem. When using the Dash Q 400 the computer locks up after i start the engines (that's the exact point every time). Events viewer says the following "The program MCE exe version 2729 stopped interacting with windows and was closed. To see if more information is available check the check the problem history in security and maintenance control panel" This is rather odd as it doesn't do it with the Aerosoft Airbus A318/19/20/and 21. The computer locks up and the only thing that responds is the mouse . i have to restart the computer using the task manager which again…

I understand this may be an unreasonable request or question but gotta ask. There are two programs I use in X-Plane (Pilot2Atc and SimBuddy) that absolutely won't work unless X-Plane.exe is NOT set to run as administrator. But of course MCE requires X-Plane be run as administrator. Pretty daunting conflict as I don't want to give up any of these 3 great programs. Is there anyway around this so all can be run at the same time?

No matter what I try in MCE, I cannot get a reply when handling the radios myself. MCE voices are recognized just fine with the first officer handling the comms. But I can't get atc using the delete key, or a ptt button. I tried re-training, re-installing, restoring to factory defaults. Do you have any other suggestions I can try.

I am having issues here lately on my flights with PF3 and MCE. I recently purchased PF3 so I am working around getting all of that setup the correct way which is taking some time lol...that being said, I have given my MCE FO the command of your radio in which he replies it is his radio, I ask for him to get clearance, get taxi clearance, takeoff and on and on, but after he gives the request each time he never replies back to ATC, and I am not sure if this is even included in that but he doesn't change freq either (I may have to do that, but i was unsure). On the ground it isnt too much of an issue, its more on takeoff and climb where it can be a tad pain, but like i said …

Hi all, Is there any chance to hard mute MCE? I know you can do it temporarily by pressing END or SPACE, but it's very uncomfortable if you use another voice recognition software, as in my case with FS2Crew. If there is no such possibility today, I hope it can be implemented soon, because I think it is easy to code and with great utility. Soft Mute and Hard Mute, as FS2Crew does. Hi Could someone please tell me how long the demo lasts for? i have searched the web site but could find nothing. Also, am considering getting this mainly to use with the default ATC when flying GA aircraft in VFR conditions (I am sick of pushing multiple buttons to accomplish contact). Would this be an over the top purchase considering what I want to use it for? Thanks John

During VFR flights with default ATC I cant get the feature where MCE automatically detects the airport when I tune the correct tower frequency on the com radio. I like the idea of that feature not having to go through the menu options to find the airport you want to establish contact with. I have made sure the MCE config file has the correct setting by updating the GoFlight from 0 to 1. Although I use the Saitek radio rather than the GoFlight module and my aircraft is the A2A Cherokee. I hope this does not contribute to the problem, the A2A aircraft beeing a complex aircraft and all. mike

Hello MCE.... This airliner has become my absolute favorite for quick routes. Their development crew is absolutely outstanding, much on the same level as MCE. But its missing one critical component, an MCE first officer. Is there any chance for official MCE support for this bird?

Hello, Today at this weekend I wanted to try out the MCE-DEMO ! On my PC there is a P3Dv3 and P3Dv4 Installation... (windows 10) Installation of MCE-Demo went well, but if I want to start the first time the mce.exe (with admin) there comes an window: The trial Period is over...!?? (ten minutes after install...?) If I click 'ok' the mce-window opens but My voice is not recognized !!?? Thanks in advance Gerolamo

i truly need some help on this . I have the same problem with online atc(vpilot) start up fsx than mce it connects and works properly but after a while the speech connection stops. So the copilot keeps listening but I can`t communicate with any more with vpilot it reconnects after pressing the send button but mce i have to stop and reload gain. I`m aware its not a mce or vpilot problem but i have no clue how to fix it in advance thanks wil

I find a couple of flows missing, no purser/cabin crew flows when I look at voxscript. Plus I cannot get the FO to execute 'Cleanup flow' or 'Cleanup Procedure'. Known issue ? Is there a patch?. None of the cabin crew flows are available as well.

Just wondered whether any work is in progress to update the X-Plane MCE to PF3 to allow FO to handle voice radio, as has been done with the FSX interface? If so, what is the progress. Cheers, Stuart

After some time I made a VFR flight again with PF3 and MCE. To make it short, it seems there still is some work to do. I don't want to go deeper right now because it will take some more testing for myself and you already stated in the other thread that you are working on the CRJ integration right now what probably has priority anyway (what I totally understand). So just one major problem for now: Apparently MCE sends the "say again" hotkey instead of the "roger" hotkey each time I readback a command, or say "roger" or "copy". Seems only to happen with a VFR flightplan. Would you please have a look at that.

I was hoping someone might have a answer to this issue I come up against from time to time. what I'm finding is that sometimes when in cruise and FO has the radios PF3 will give me a climb request, but sometimes before he has time to confirm that climb instruction he also gets a controlling frequency change. So he changes the frequency without confirming the climb instruction first, then checks in with the new control centre with the climb reply, but no control centre check in. As a result PF3 I think gets all confused with the replies from MCE and stops responding to any voice inputs, apart from asking for a "say again" request. I think it's expecting two MCE …

At the moment I use it only to talk with default atc (I love this feature so much!), because I"m still using FS2Crew. Now I'm studying the scripts and their application.
