Hello, I noticed in the NGX that every 8 sec or so, MCE FO is flipping some button making the cursor reappear in FSX and clicking sound to be played. As a result, the framerate drops 1-2 frames. It seems like a loop where MCE checks then flips a button (no buton is actually flipped from what I could figure out) then checks again and cycle starts again. I am wodering if anyone has encountered this behavior with MCE set to talk to PF3. Tried various settings of PF3 and mce, I get this all the time. Is that a bug?

My system recently updated to the Windows 10 creators update. Since then, I have received an error, starting FSX, stating that Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third-party software program, identified as fsinsider.dll. It crashes if I allow it to run, but MCE won't run without it. I did try uninstall/reinstall for Multi Crew, as well as updating to the most recent version, but that has not fixed the issue. I am running Windows 10 Home with FSX SP2. Any ideas on how to get MCE to work in spite of this? Thank you.

Hi, I have upgraded to the latest MCE, but in the Embrear, the FO keeps mishearing my instruction and deploys full flaps. The other day, after leaving DFW, i was fighting with a stall warning until i realized he had deployed full flaps and was able to fix it, but today crashed after a go around at East Midlands when he again deployed full flaps and couldn't prevent the stall. What is the correct instruction for flaps deployment? Thanks.

Hi, I am really enjoying using MCE, works great for the Q400, but have a little problem with the Aerosoft A318 through to A321. Sometimes on approach the co pilot just goes to sleep, the spoken command is shown in red at the top of the screen, but no response from FO. Always happens on approach. Thanks.

I really appreciate all the work that is put into MCE, in particular the massive improvements regarding the FO interaction with PF3, and the outstanding customer support. So please don't get me wrong here. Nevertheless lately I got a little frustrated that my own ATC transmission still often are not properly transferred by MCE to PF3 – though the speech recognition is working fine. Be it that no command is recognized at all or a wrong hotkey is sent. I don't want to go into details here again because me and others have reported these issues before (e.g. VFR pattern, taxi request etc.). I know you guys have been very busy with updating things to P3Dv4, but as a result of the release of V4 and its SDK has this helped shed any light on the P3D flat buttons issue in the Dash and I thing the FSLabs aircraft? Rob

Hello, I am totally blind and am experimenting with the blind pilot mode in MCE. I'm curious about programming the FMC. In theory, even if MCE didn't read back the data in the FMC, shouldn't it be possible to program it by memorizing what to say when? If I got my flight data from something like Simbrief, could I program the FMC by voice command? If so, is there one particular aircraft that works best with MCE as far as the FMC? I've been looking through videos, but can't find one where the FMC is programmed entirely by voice. Thanks!

I think I already mentioned this some time before. I am still having problems with the GSX option to start engines before pushback. When it comes to this question, the FO (asking for the engine start before PB option) and the Mechanic (announcing the pushback to begin) start talking at the same time - so none of them can be understood properly. And I cannot give a response to the engine start before PB option request, because GSX has already proceeded past that step immediately. In addition to that, I sometimes get an FO message that I made an inappropriate ATC call to PF3 - probably because a hotkey meant for GSX was sent to PF3.

I have my FPS limited to 20 in the sim (P3D 3.4) and I have an average framerate of 19.9 with a variance of less than 1% most of the time. Lately (since the new PF3 - FO - Option) I noticed a drop of the average FPS down to around 16-17 with a variance of up to 10 % even in cruise. Exiting MCE brought the FPS back to 19.9 with a variance below 1%. Starting MCE again: FPS decrease and variance increase again. Then I found that just disabling the "Talk to ATC" Option in the MCE UI increases the FPS back to 19.9 with a variance below 1%, whereas activating "Talk to ATC" again leads to a drop of FPS and an increase in variance. Hi All, New here I'm afraid! After dialling the correct ATIS frequency within MCE and with no FO, I used to get the ATIS scrolling at the top of screen, now I get no text (or voice for that matter)! What can be wrong? (Using Win 10 home 64, FSX Steam and MCE. Thanks for any help, Greg.

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but... I'm able to get RC4toXplane up and running with no issues, however, I am unable to get the plugin to respond to any keyboard input. I've checked settings, read the manual, have the most recent XPUIPC, and have tried multiple different cadences with the keyboard input. I'm able to get the RC4 weather brief if I manually change frequencies in the cockpit, but nothing when pressing keys. Any ideas/help appreciated!

I am thinking of getting MCE. Could someone please explain how to get the copilot to use the a/c controls and speak to the atc. Many thanks.

I'm running the Maj Q400 in P3Dv3.4 (for now) with version 2.7.0.13. What I am finding is that when in cruise and my FO has the comms he is dialing in all zero's when he's asked to change frequency. I have prompted him to change it and he does, but this seem so happen every time a frequency change is required. anyone else getting this issue?

Hi Iv recently updated my MCe to the latest version. No though when i tell the co pilot to carry out a flow, he understands what i say but does nothing, he will still operate switches and call out checklists ect, but wont carry out any flows, This is on both Xplane 10 and 11, iv tried it on the Jar A320 and 330 and the FF 777. please can any one help with this. Hi everybody, I have two issues using MCE with PF3; one minor and one major. Minor: After take-off, tower hands me off to departure. I read back, switch frequencies - and departure immediately acknowledges, without me saying a thing. MCE must be pressing a key too many here. Major: After a few minutes flight, MCE stops reacting to the PTT button, both joystick and "Del" key. When that happens, I switch from fullscreen to windowed mode to check MCE. Sometimes the program is responsive, sometimes it isn't. I kill and restart it and everything is back to normal, but only for a while. Is there a setting I can change?

This is from MCE Faq: [ATC] section in the default mce.ini looks like this: So, am I supposed to delete "Mode=Native" and other extra lines found in the default mce.ini to look exactly like in the Answer in the FAQ? Or do I need just to change some values per the example and leave the other lines in the original [ATC] section intact? Thanks, Dirk.

Hi I have thebelow issues with QOTSII and MCE. 1. FO is not able to disengage auto pilot 2. Mechanic is not able to close cargo doors. 3. With GSX, when boarding completed, with the pmdg 777 the cargo doors are closed, but with 747 QOTS II, it does not happen. 4. When communicating with VATSIM controller, FO seems to listen in and starts pressing buttons. I have configured PTT button, this has started after I downloaded MCE version following QOTS II support. Has anyone else experienced similar issues and and have or aware of a fix ?. Thanks

Hello everybody, a while back I noticed MCE changed the way it works. When flying VFR with FSX' built-in ATC, I had the impression it used to "scan" nearby airports by going back and forth in the ATC menu. Was my impression correct? What was MCE doing? It doesn't seem to be doing that anymore...is there a tweak to get that functionality back?

Situation: I have RC4 running. I start MCE. Then I ask Dieter to start boarding. Dieter answers as required but RC4 picks up the keystroke sent "from Dieter" and takes over the command (I can hear beep beep and RC4 "green" window goes: n/a for a moment, than goes back to: 1-CLR byCD on 12197 2-Wx Brf on 11800 What needs to be done here?
