Hello, I am trying to create a checklist based on my company's SOP. IRL the captain says something seat specific and the FO says something seat specific too. i.e. "Panel Prep" Captain: Complete Left FO: Complete Right. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Hello, Ive been using MCE with overall good success, but just installed newest version of MCE yesterday. Now, when I give a voice command which involves a number, ie; "set altitude 8000", MCE adds 8000 to the current set altitude. This happens for heading and speed etc.......I think I've read about this issue before, but couldnt find it in the forums. What is the fix? Thank you, Dana

I am very happy with the Q400, I will make it work with MCE somehow. Question: I am interested in the FSL A320 and the PMDG B737 as a next step learning experience. If I had to buy one aircraft where MCE is completely compatible (FMC/CDU included), which one would it be? I do have a penchant for Airbus. The B777 and 747 are just too big for now. Thank you!

Is there a way to have the FO control the FMC-CDU for the Q400 in vox script? I tried to have the FO turn on the FMC but I don't know how. None of the FMC/CDU commands have failed so far

Hi MCE Devs and everyone, I'm back once again to pose a question that I've never thought of asking. As far as blind support features, what does MCE have currently? Is it just the screen narrative mode for reading the MCE Interface and MSATC menus? I think I'll download the demo and give it a go. I just don't like being disappointed. I'm curious how the blind support, such as screen narrative mode, got implemented? Heck, I'd say to, perhaps, implement a blind support feature where the FO can assist in performing the landing proceedure below minimums, perhaps if the narrative screen mode is on. Hi, I have installed the latest MCE for XP version yesterday just to be sure but apparently the support for the SSG 747-8 does not work. I saw that the support dll does not get installed into the MCE dll folder and no matter what I try I always get the generic Boeing checklist and no specific VoiceScripts. The VCP cannot change the headings etc and none of the commands work. According to the description on the website this should be included. Have I missed something? I have the combi/package of passenger and freighter version 1.4 on XP 10.42 Windows 8.0 64-bit. Thanks Word Not Allowed

Guys, I have been trialling the PF3 Demo recently, and with help from others on the forum have managed to get commands to the MCE FO to activate PF3 FO using Voxkeys. However, I just can't seem to get my voice to be recognised by PF3 when using the MCE PTT button. Does anyone know if this is not possible using the demo version of PF3? If it isn't then I'll give up trying. I was just trying to test out PF3 as much as possible before forking out cash for the full version, but if people can confirm that the PTT button works fine with the full version, then I might just have to take the plunge. I was looking at the commercial replacement voice packs for MS Anna yesterday. I came across something called CerProc, who are selling their voices in a sale for December. The others are way too expensive for my pocket! Since MCE can use MS Anna as the TTS voice alternative to our MCE qualified first officers, I was wondering if the CerProc voices would work in MCE. I read that there was some issues with CerProc voices "crashing" Windows, after just five instances (word executions). This is obviously useless for our needs in MCE....A first officer who goes to sleep after five commands!:-) Anyone used any of these voices? Just curious really, my first officers…

I've been an ardent user of RC4 for years and using it with MCE, despite some shortfalls, is great. However, as RC4 is no longer in development, I am interested in giving PF3 a try out as, looking at the user guide, it appears to have alot more going for it - sids&stars, more regional ATC than RC4, and better ground taxi. However, I was wondering whether anyone has experience of using it with MCE and voice, and how well it fairs in comparison with RC4? I also noticed whilst searching this forum, that there was talk in November last year of having the MCE VCP fully handle the radio communication to PF3. Hello guys! I'm new to MCE and have been making my own scripts for the FSLabs A320 based on my airline and airbus SOPs, So far I've done everything down to engine start. First of all, thanks for creating such a powerful tool with such a broad range of options to configure our favorite aircraft! This happens with the latest GSX 1.9.9.11: When requesting a pushback from the mechanic, I am offered deicing (-15C with snow in Calgary today!) if I respond yes, I get a window prompt warning me that an unknown program is interfering with the Couatl engine - press yes for the error log or no to restart Couatl. If you say no to de-icing, it's OK. I can probably send you the error log at your request, Thanks!

When a deice request is made, and you respond "yes" to deicing, a window appears saying there's an error with Couatl (press yes to see the log or press no to restart Couatl). Responding "no" to deicing does not trigger an error. Using the Q400 and the very latest GSX 1.9.9.11.

Hi everyone, I wouder if I can ask for your assistance, I experienced a few system hangs with MCE 2.9.6.1, updating to 2.9.6.4 seems to have cured that. But during a flight last night I whilst requesting flows etc the VAS remaining was as low as 600mb, I recall a while back seeing VAS remaining being in the 1.2-1.6 gb. Is anyone else seeing a high VAS usage or is it just me? I'm thinking that this might be the cause of my pervious MCE hangs. Can other let me know what your seeing fir VAS please:) Edit: I'm referring to VAS of MCE not FSX-SE Cheers Rob

MCE worked in my previous beta versions of XP11, but it will not in beta #6. XP11 is stuck loading the XPinsider64 plug in. Anyone else seeing this?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before, I'm hoping it's just a settings issue. When the first officer is handling radio communications I can't hear the requests/or replies FROM him to ATC, although I can hear when ATC speaks or replies. Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks, Jose

Hi everyone, as an avid user of MCE and PF3, over the time I have come up with some "great" features that I would like to present, some probably easy to implement, and some...not: - Pause voice recognition when game is paused - Parse PF3 log file for "SayPFSentence" entries when the FO is talking, so that he doesn't keep reading check lists etc. while talking on the radio - Have the FO ask for a new flight level: While at FL 320, I want to be able to say "Please request flight level 340", and then MCE would press the keys Ctrl+Alt+H+2. Somehow in my many years of simming I missed MCE completly. However, looking for a way to not being alone in the cockpit I am currently investigating options. The competitor doesnt do it, since it is bound to one aircraft, and I like to have it in more aircaft, generic or not. MCE looks promising. It should work in FS2004 as is stated on the website. I want to use it in FS2004, and not FSX. Before taking the plunge, and the high price some things I want to know. Hi, I would like to have the copilot do an APU fire test only on the FSlabA320, is there any voice command for that? (Not all the engine fire test, just the APU fire Test). And also would like to have the copilot on my command switch off the master engine switch number one or two, is there a voice command for that too? thanks

Not sure what it is but when MCE launches...I get this buzzing in my ear that doesn't go away. Constant and irritating lol. Any ideas. Using Logitech G930 headphones. Only in MCE. Just noticed when I hut down, p3dv3 crashed. I got this in the event viewer and not sure has anything to do with it? Hi all, I'm running P3D in Win 10 and for a week now have been trying to get MCE working. For some reasons, it sometimes work, and doesn't the next day. In fact, it loads nicely and I see the menu etc... Co pilot listening OK BUT... when it doesn't work, I get this message: "CLOSE THE WINDOWS SPEECH BAR" . i'd happily do it but I have no idea of where to find it or what it looks like. I'll sure feel stupid when you tell me how but I've made a fool of myself before..

When I launch MCE..I get some message about...if not showing up in taskbar or something like that I can opt to use the MCE kill switch.. which I did. Have the latest version..Making sense? using the latest P3Dv3 and Windows 10x64. Thanks, Bob M.

MCE basically works with the new GSX refueling procedure but there might be room for improvement. This is the procedure I follow with the new GSX refueling on the Aerosoft Airbuses (Other Aircraft might be different): 1. Before requesting refueling make sure the tanks are empty resp. only filled with the rest from the previous flight. 2. Request refueling (works with MCE) 3. When the fuel truck arrives, the green text bar comes up saying "fuel truck in position". I assume at this point GSX reads the intial fuel amount in the tanks. 4. Shortly after that the green text bar comes up again saying "use the refueling system of your aircraft to refuel". Then start th…

I have read others post on how to properly get the FO not to listen when the PTT is pressed, however after doing all the steps it still happens. I have a thrustmaster HOTAS jotstick and i use the trigger as my vatsim PTT. I have run the app wizard and and set the same PTT as my vatsim (trigger button), adjusted the ini to "1" and i have disabled the talk to ATC function in the interface. The ini confirms the trigger as the PTT. Am i missing something? im sure it is something on my end that i am doing, but would greatly appreciate some assistance in the matter. Also, i would like to use my mouse button as my TS3 PTT, but do not want the FO picking up on that stuff as w…
