Hi - I recently upgraded to MCE 2.6.74 and installed FSX:SE as a parallel installation to MS-FSX. I'm having a few issues and I would think they are MCE related. 1) MS-FSX used to automatically hunt through the "Nearest Airport List" when I tuned in the tower freq. of my destination about 20 miles out. It's never worked on FSX:SE and now it doesn't work on MS-FSX either although it used to work perfectly. My mce.ini contains Use=1 in the [GO-FLIGHT] section and the TimeOut value contains 3000. 2) Almost every time I'm in the interface, I get a message asking for the path to RCV4 and PFE. I have updated to the latest version 2678. Now, with this version, I have an annoying pop up window at EVERY sim start stating that my sims should run as admin (which they already). How can I switch it off?

I believe there is something up with the FF 767 Air hydraulic PUMP C when using MCE. Whenever I use the MCE flows with the FF767 the pump pressure light turns on: http://imgur.com/H1Wu73q . It has to be MCE flows as I don't touch a thing and let MCE do everything. Can you please have a look at this issue?

a question mostly out of curiosity I guess. in the as320cfm on approach (phase armed and in app mode about 2000'agl), I ask for autobrake low or med which is selected but with the reply "which runway is in use" (or similar). it seems that if I don't respond with the runway in use that at about 1000'agl (well above the mda) & without any input from me, the fcu will reset to managed "s" speed & op clb commanding a climb to the higher missed approach altitude. if I set autobrake myself or I reply to the "runway ...." question, all's well. so, how important is it to reply ? it's only since recently using the current mce that this has occurred !!

is there a way to adjust confidence level for speech reconigtion? i.e. so that MCE only accepts commands when it is 75% sure that that was what you said?

I donwloaded the MCE demo and installed. I couldn't get MCE to work in FS9, only in FSX. Running FS9 as administrator I kept getting the amber message "trying to connect.....". It times out with a message to manually install fsinsider.dll from the unzipped files. Have done all that multiple times with no success. I have been in communication with MCE support and they have really been trying to figure this out with plenty of suggestions or things to try. I have tried them all. One thing I noticed is that the advice to change the "debug" switch to 1 from 0 in the .ini file and then running the sim did not produce a .log file which tells me that the MCE is not finding…

When I give the command "Aircraft power up with APU" he responds with an "elevator trim" event. I have trained and most other so far commands are working. I do not know how to correct.

When I say "Aircraft power up with APU" he responds with and elevator "event" any idea on how to correct this. The other commands seem to work ok.

Hi, I noticed that some commands don't work during flow or when I ask to copilot : the CP acknowledges but there is not effect on these switches. Nav light on or off Beacon light on or off Strobe light on or off Last Mce version. Thanks in advance, Regards, Richard Portier

I am using the native ATC in prepar3d v3 when I ask fo to get clearance not only does he ask for clearance but the native atc asks to. It's like I just clicked on native atc window to get clearance. Is there any way to remove the native atc from asking for clearance?

I have tried everything I've read in the manuals and on the forum about how to get MCE to interact with ATC with no luck. I have tried all the voice's. Microsoft Zera and MCE Lorna Request IFR Clearence but I get no response. I have tried the native ATC and PF3. Even Zera and Lorna start to get frustrated with the lack of response. Is their not one manual that explains in detail on how to set this up? Hi, it is known that unfortunately MCE cannot read the V speeds from the FMC of PMDG's 777. However, even if I tell the FO the V1, VR and V2 speeds, there is no announcement by the FO during take off roll. The speeds appear correctly in the GUI of MCE though. The FO does not even recognize that I am in flight mode, as also the announcement "positive rate of climb" does not sound. The FO is also silent when capturing the localizer or deviate from pre-defined flight path. All switches and autopilot commands work however. Does anybode know why the FO is silent with the 777 even if I tell him the V speeds? This was the workaround for that plane suggested in this forum…

Hi. I've updatet the MCE to the latest version. I fired up the SIM and loaded the IXEG 737-300. I opened the MCE Flow for the plane and was ready to see MCE do it's magic. I was surpised when I found that the cockpit preparation flow command isn't working. Can someone please tell me the steps to get the FO to talk to VOXATC? I changed the MCE.ini use voxatc to 1 and had the FO do the comms. but he still contacts the native P3D atc. I would also like to know how or if the FO can change radio freq.on his own. I don't know if you can tell but I'm new to MCE so I will probably be asking more questions. I just bought MCE after trying the demo and have tried to find this info in the many manuals to no evail. 1: When the FO says off it sounds like he is saying aww. Can I edit some file to fix this? I use Ivona voices 2: I fly the PMDG 777 300er my call sign for the plane is American 28 but MCE uses my planes registration number witch is AAL28 [alpha alpha lima 28] How do I get him to use American 28.

Hi, I started using PF3 with MCE. It seems that the command "Tower>>>Call sign>>>ready to takeoff or ready for departure" is not recognized by Mce. Key "6". An other thing (nothing to do with PF3) : Mce recognizes "Altitude seven hundred" and below (600, 500 and so...) command but never executes it (co pilot just nagging but never executes it). the copilot doesn't give me my v1 vr v2 speeds when taking off with the monitor data set to use it and filled the speeds and such in there and when I disable that and say for example takeoff v1 = 141 when she ask for confirm I say yes and then she replys ok or something so I guess that would set it aswell but still no callouts on takeoff never the less she keeps asking for a active runway I say active runway is 25l shes happy with that but after a bit she ask it again so I'm I doing anything wrong or why is it causing this to happen ?

Hi all, That's pretty much the whole question. I managed to burn my trial time without testing this (entirely my fault, I shouldn't have installed it until I had several days to mess with it, but I was eager to try it so i installed while I only had one night to mess with it). The command "Bug Up" is used pretty commonly in the 737, and refers to setting the speed bug to the clean maneuver speed, denoted as the word "up" on the airspeed tape. This phrase is important to a couple abnormal procedures I'm hoping to re-create. Does anyone know if MCE will be able to understand this, or if there's a way to create a voxscript that will do it? Greetings, I had to re-submit my activation due to a change in my system ID when I replaced my hard drive. I submitted my request exactly like I did when I first purchased the product. Instead of getting a key file I got a response stating that I needed to add my serial key, which according to the email I got about activation isn't required. I added my serial key and since sent multiple requests with no response. I've been keeping an eye on my email so I've been ensuring that nothing from MCE is added to the SPAM inbox. Why would getting a key take so long? I'm sending the requests directly from the online mail server application, so I'm not sure if th…
