The correct procedure for upgrade is as follows. Un-install previous version via Windows control panel. Do not manually delete anything. Download new version, unzip and run "InstallMCE". Since you already deleted things manually, here is how you can recover. Instead of running "InstallMCE", open "Resources" folder and run "xPack.msi". That will get MCE installed, but the new dlls supposed to go into the flight sim folder won't be copied. Therefore, un-install then re-install according to procedure above. If still no luck, run Windows tool "regedit" and search for FS++ When the key is found, you'll see a sub-key named "Multi Cre…

Downloaded the newest MCE and tried to install but after removing all traces of the old version the new one still states that is will not install because there is a previous version of the old version on my pc.......where?

I´m quite new to MCE on X Plane. Just bought it last friday. I´m running the latest version of X Plane 11, MCE and Zibo´s 737. I start cold and dark. While my copilot performs the flow "electrical power up with ground power up", the Zibo 737 behaves like a crash. X Plane then asks me if I want to continue the flight or start a new flight. If I do the flow on my own I can continue with all other following flows performed by the copilot. I haven´t made any changes on the scripts. I don´t know if it is an issue on Zibo´s or MCE´s side. Thats why I post it here. Thanks in advance

Hi all, I'm well aware that P3D ATC is basically Microsoft ATC with a few minor changes, E.G. the ATIS is synthesized to make it realistic. However, when departing KSLK, I can request clearance just fine. Controller gives me my squawk, not sure if P3D does it automatically like FSX does so I tell MCE to dial it, and then I tell MCE to select 1, I haven't bothered with actually talking yet but I'll get to that. The pilot voice reads back the instructions, but I am not getting any readback correct afterwards, in order to contact ground. Hi all, I've discovered that, for the most part, Prepar 3D is much more accessible with screen readers regarding its interface over the older FSX. I still have my MCE FSX version on here. The one downside to Prepar over FSX right now as it doesn't have a diverse group of aircraft by default. I've got the A2A C172 here and FSX Pilot won't run a takeoff routine. I'm hoping that's because Prepar is starting it cold and dark, so that's where MCE can come in. Until I can find aircraft I'd want to fly, can I somehow have both versions installed? The only thing holding me back right now is that I don't have a Cessna to fly on PVA, …

On landing I would like the FO to call either no reverse or reverse green. how can that be implemented with MCE?.

I have just bought MCE. X-Plane just seems to lock up when I start MCE. I can't change views or see what MCE is talkiing about. I have to kill X-Plane with CTRL-ALT-DEL or reboot, when I stop MCE. Posted the same on X.org,bbut there doesn't seem to be much happening there.Normal without MCE of course.

Hi all, I have just downloaded and installed the demo version for P3Dv4.2. I have installed it to the default location as suggested. When I try to run the program, I get a message telling me that as its the first run, the language wizard will direct me to where I can download English United States version. I click ok and then nothing else happens. I have managed to install this language anyway now but when I run MCE I still get the same message and I can't proceed any further. The sim is not running while I am trying to do this. I am using Win 10 54 bit. Any suggestions? Rory

Hello everyone, as already mentioned elsewhere, I am having great difficulties with MCE when flying VFR with PF3 (haven't flown with default ATC for a while now, so I don't know if it's also affected). Apart from the known difficulties with pattern and/or CTAF calls, on my last few flights I have always had this problem: I am sitting at a holding point and ask Tower for departure clearance. Either nothing happens, or MCE seems to think I am requesting a different runway and does the according keypress. Sometimes, if I inch forward enough (well across the holding line), MCE gets it right eventually. Or I give up and do the keypress myself. I acknowledge that…

I just posted a 3 PART FULL FLIGHT VIDEO in the Avro Jet RJ70 <<< KSUS to KBNA>>> Multi Crew Experience crew coordination software is used extensively. The flight is just under 3 hours long but segmented into three parts; Part 1 from cold and dark at the gate in KSUS to 7000' climb out Part 2 from 7000' climbing to FL310 and then descending to 5000' for final approach Part 3 Final approach to cold and dark at the gate in KBNA All phases of flight are coordinated with MCE. Started seeing this upon opening FSX and have to click no to even get into FSX. So far I have uninstalled this software and removed all traces of fsinsider.dll from the registry but still get the notice.

And I am a license holder of the Ultimate Edition. Is there any way to receive a discount on buying the XPlane product or does the license even extend?

I upgraded from P3D v4.2 to 4.3, by just uninstalling and reinstalling the client component. Nothing else. i noticed that MCE was not actioning the GSX requests via green info bar text, and I uninstalled and downloaded latest MCE version 2.7.66 from the website and installed again, still no luck. This happened to me two months ago when I went from P3D v4.0 to 4.2, same in sue client uninstall and install, MCE not actioning GSX via green bar text, then I downloaded the latest MCE and did an install and it worked. why is it not working this time?. Lately I noticed a significant lag when I talk to PF3-ATC myself. After I finish my phrase and release the PTT button it takes about 5 to 10 seconds before PF3 replies. It is not a PF3 issue. If I press the hotkey manually PF3 replies immediately. And apart from the PF3-ATC-interaction there is no lag at all when communicating with MCE. So I wonder what might be the reason for this. Is it possible that MCE inadvertently applies the same pause that is necessary for the FO to talk when in "You have ATC"-mode also to the "I have ATC"-mode? Or is it some kind of performance issue? Just bought the QW787 for P3D. just wondering if anyone has been able to create any flows and are willing to share. From a real ops or virtual airline perspective, I have the default flows that came with MCE. Similar to David's NGX flows Thanks so much.

I wanted to give some feedback with some of the phraseology used in your program, some of the responses from the crew are too sarcastic/not professional, etc.. For example when alerting the crew (take your seats for takeoff for example), is acknowledged by a "I supposed you will be happy to hear the cabin is ready", that is not typical (at least at my airline), another good one is when alerting the cabin crew to take your seat and the cabin is not ready, the "is that a joke" is completely unrealistic.... There are a few other bits from the FO that are not realistic at all (no one ever calls me "skipper" lol), I will take note and add more when time permits. I wanted to …

Over several days I had been communicating With BEN, from Multi Crew Experience, even assisting on weekends. I had major problems after the last windows Creators edition update. I had two sound cards onboard, Turtle Beach head set with Mike, all software installed for these products. But after the update, my mike could go through the complete MCE wizard, but would not respond in Sim (P3Dv4). BEN, Suggested, uninstall all software for both sound cards and let windows update drivers. I did this and disabled the SoundBlaster and plugged into the onboard soundcard. With the latest version (2.7.6.4) I noticed a significant lowering of the crew voice volumes. Checklist readings are intelligible and I have to read the prompts on the screen. I checked the volume control on the UI and it is set to Max. I also have not changed any volumes in my P3D v4.2 controls. Any idea of what I can do to get the volume up...other than to change the volume of my system. Thanks,

I am having a problem recently that the co-pilot stops responding after a flight sim pause and unpause. It has happened on three consecutive flights now with PMDG 737. The MCE program is still running. However, no commands are executed, however. P3D 4.2 and latest version of MCE. I should add that the program icon in the task tray is unresponsive when this occurs. That is, I cannot get menu options by right clicking the icon, nor will the program go to the screen when left clicking.
