Hello, back home after a 3-month absence. Got MCE v 2.7.72: the new commands set for the PMDG 737NGX is a major improvement. Thanks! After re-testing the whole cockpit in every detail (to make sure, I even re-installed my NGX), there are still some (last) commands missing and a few mistakes/issues which require your help: 1- “Test Flight Data Recorder”: the switch guard now flips, but the reply is “Performing VOICE Recorder test” 2-Mach Airspeed Warning (or just Airspeed warning): No reply/No action 3-Center Fuel Pumps: it would nice to have a common command such as “All center fuel pumps On/Off” 4- Utility bus: command flips the wrong switch (the …

After installing the latest MCE version in the default directory, I have encountered a significant issue. When launching MCE, it completely freezes P3D; P3D still shows running in the task manager but the only way to exit the program is to kill the task. When I launch the MCE, I see the text 'MCE is looking for Aircraft Changes' in the sim. That's the point when it freezes my sim.

I'm wondering if it's possible to just use the voice component to talk to Radar Contact. I find that sometimes I don't want t co-pilot but I always need to "talk" to ATC. Is it possible to enable the ATC voice control of Radar Contact and have the co-pilot do nothing? Thanks

I am on a trial with the new GSX Level2. Most of the time I do not get the greeting from the ramp agent and cannot establish communication with the ground. Peter

Hi, I am overall very happy with my FO in the FSL Bus. One thing which is a bit disturbing is the flight controls check. I say "flight controls check" and the F/O starts with "rudder full left" irrespective which flight control I move. Thanks Peter

Hi, I have the FSLabs A320 with P3D v4.2 and I am considering purchasing MCE. Since I use FS2Crew with other airplanes and it is completely integrated through the SDK, can I expect more or less the same from MCE or are there drawbacks that could make me disappointed? Thank you.

Hi very pleaced with MCE , have some small problems bad ENG is the reason. can you give all Options in the FSL ini. have the fcu disabled and want the cpt efis disabled the FO can interact on change from 10 to 80 for example. have somtimes problem with the TH FO set Toga , when iam pilot flying not want him to fiddeling with TH flying mostly on Vatsim that work ok , PTT work and did a "end" toggle for saefty. What i want to have option to disable, FCU, Cpt EFIS, TH and transponder ( squak code and tara "mode C"). thanks for a really good app,

Ok, after one week of using MCE with FSLabs A320 I must say it is a very powerful multi crew tool. I was able to tailor the checklists and flows to my needs even making my co-pilot answering my FMA announcements, great ! I still have some difficulties and it is Time for some questions : - Despite reading the GSX&AES.pdf, i am not able to use GSX by voice. but the ground crew reads the things from the green text from gsx and close or open doors or tell me when refuelling or boarding are complete. - I am also unable to give order to the MCE ground staff, he only answer to "cockpit to ground" - Can the co-pilot trim the aircraft by…

When using P3D/MCE, the latter applies the parking brake during the landing roll-out phase; usually when the aircraft falls below 20 knots. When the brake is applied, MCE opens the GSX menu. Im positive it's MCE because it only occurs when the program is active. To that end, is possible to have MCE completely ignore GSX? I believe that interaction is causing the issue....

hi, I can only achieve very low funcionality with PMDG DC6: gear, flaps and nav2 freq. Other commands like Battery, Landing Lights are executed but the related switches on the overhead just don't move. There's any plan to add in the future some support for this airplane? One more question, at startup F/O start screaming that the engines are on fire, of course this is not a problem, may be MCE does not recognize the airplane? In MCE "Reference" folder I cannot find any file related to the DC6, should I try to write and add one? thanks Roberto Carideo

Hi, I'm having an annoying little problem that keeps cropping up from time to time. I have a script that has my trusty copilot (Clive) handling the radios on taxi out, which he does dutifully. As we are taxiing, I have him switch to tower frequency which he does. However when we get to the hold line and I ask him to "request takeoff clearance please" he will says "I ignore your request" or "I don't think the tower will honor your request" or any number of different denials to my request. I checked to see if the ATC message was showing the takeoff request and it was there. I also keyed the mic to make sure I had a side tone. When I requested takeoff clearance myself t…

Hello, after installing version 2770 of MCE I cannot get the FO to reply to ATC or handle communications in any aircraft. I read in the forum this may be related to the fact that MCE cannot read captions.ini, this file is created properly. Pf3_mce.ini is set to Active=1, close captions are on or off (does not matter) and voice set id is off, atc call sing is set to "delta airlines" "8044" heavy tickbox checked. During flight I see the pf3_mce.ini line Logged=x increasing with every line pf3 issues, clearance.ini is showing the atc messages, all is well. I would rule pf3 out. Is anyone flying the new Aerosoft Airbus Pro and using MCE? After watching a video over the weekend, I am somewhat confused as to what's been implemented, by Aerosoft? They appear to have used an "automated" First Officer, who is using "checklists" to fly the aircraft. We all know that checklists should follow "flows" or "procedures". These flows are done first, either by the Captain or First Officer and then the checklist follows, to ensure the flow has been done correctly. I believe MCE has integrated the new Airbus, so we are all good to go with it. However, the Aerosoft on board ,"co pilots" (there appeared to be two of them?) would seem to interfere w…

Adds support for Aerosoft Airbus Professional Makes it up to date with latest MaddogX for P3D V4" Fine but it seems the MCE flows&Checklists-Maddog Commands are no implemented!? Captain Sim have released their new 757 v3 for P3dv4. It looks truely lovely and is advertised as having high res graphics, a 790 page manual and a fully functional FMC. The original was fully MCE integrated, so here's hoping the new version can work with perhaps the minimum of tweaks? Anyone tested it yet? https://captainsim.net/# It sure does look a real beut!😉

All, I just wanted to post my notes after a week of testing on the FSL A320. I bought this program as there is nothing else available on the market currently, given my first choice is usally FS2Crew. Initially it is a little different, but I am extremely impressed and satisfied after a week of testing and getting used to the commands. MCE offers alot more freedom and is great for those training in MCC or just wanting to fly multicrew. Coupled with the FSL product/cabin environment I can say it has given my sim a new edge. The advantage also being that MCE is not as restrictive, I can practice the base training/visual circuit procedure in addition to line flying…

Hi, I've been working with engaging scripts to set various engine settings, being called via MCE that is then pressing a keyboard command that calls a lua script within FSUIPC. One of the voice commands I want to use is "Set takeoff power", "Cruise power", "Idle Power", etc... It seems a few of these are set up by default with MCE and for instance when I say 'set takeoff power' MCE co-pilot is jamming the throttles forward and its not calling my script. Is there any way to disable this behavour? I don't really want the Virtual co-pilot touching the controls at all, but especially the throttles. If someone could help that would be great! Thanks in …

Tell Clive to set flaps 10, flaps 10, extend flaps and he acknowledges it but the flaps do not move, I have to extend them manually. Same with retract flaps, flaps up etc.

I just jumped into the left hand side of my Mjc Dash 8, then the Aerosoft CRJ. After not flying either for nearly a year! Normally not a good idea, even for a type rated pilot, but with MCE it's a complete joy! No fumbling around reading procedure cards, just ask the First Officer to run the flows and your up! Now I am on P3dv4.1 and Windows 7, but I am also running MCE from a year ago....! No matter, both aircraft interface wonderfully with MCE. I'd forgot how good a job Ben and the team had done with the Dash 8. Every switch works with the magic pop up panel trick, making all procedures an easy process. Hi - I have noticed that on the NGX the FO when executing flows flips switches rather slowly, takes time, even when there are no pause/delays in the script. is this on purpose or can he be made to hurry up a bit 😀 Checklist ist reading speed is fine, only execution of flows. especially flicking overhead switches during before start, before text etc.

I am using FSL 320, and my co-pilot does not seem to want to operate many of the overhead switches and also will not turn off the AP. He always says he is going to do it, but I have to follow him round and operate the switches manually. I have reinstalled both the 320 and MCE but it has made no difference. Any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks Peter

As a first time user, I struggled trying to understand how FSL A320 work with MCE (trial version) on PD3V4 So i sent an email to support asking if they had any step by step tutorial for FSL A320 + MCE as the DOC folders is full of unsorted documents mixed with users documents so I didn't know where to start But it seems I made a mistake, like a crime of lese majeste, in mentioning FS2Crew, I said that i am still not decided if I go for FSL A320 + MCE or Aerosoft pro + FS2Crew.
