After landing tower hands me over to ground, so when i vacated the runway and contact ground and request taxi to the ramp, there is no response from ground. The only way to get a reaction is hitting the corresponding number in the radar contact window. I have tried several flight plans, but the problem still exist. Anyone the same experience? please let me know, regards, Bagno

I'm using RC4 with MCE and am having an annoying problem with RC4 continuing to tell me to go to the next frequency for ATC handover even after I've already done that. I understand this is an RC4 problem (not MCE) but does anyone have a tip for how to get RC4 to recognize I've already done the handover?

Installed v2.5.0.4 and latest GSX update, everything worked perfectly for two days. I started flying this evening and i have lost my cabin crew and GSX. Text at top left of screen indicates that MCE hears me ask for doors open, catering, boarding etc, but no answer and no action. My F.O. keeps barking at me to increase speed and saying he can't understand why i did that (what ever it was i did?) and that i am getting awful close to stall speed. Very strange as i havn't changed anything or installed/uninstalled anything. Has something got corrupted?

I have downloaded the new voice packs, but no installation instructions are included. The installer asks for an exe-file and I guess this is mce.exe, but who knows for sure?

ok so i just dropped $60 over on Flightsim.com's Pilot shop and downloaded MCE. when I double click setup it it says "This will install Multi Crew Experience, continue? and I click Yes. Then Instantly i get a message saying "Setup has Encountered an Problem! Please contact vender. Now i only have the version that Flightsim.com's Pilot shop is giving me. should i download it from the Venders websight and try it? Has anyone else had or have this problem Not beeing able to inatll this program.

requesting IAP does not work after announcing a missed approach. After announcing a missed approach tower hand you over to approach, and approach ask you for your intensions, if you asked for a iap or vectors etc. approach is not responding, i have tried several missed approaches, but it is not possible to get a respons from approach, they keep asking for your intensions. Someone the same problems, or is there already a solution for this? regards, Bagno

I'm having a hard time requesting an iap approach with mce and rc4, I followed the examples but it does not seem to work, could someone write down the phrase they are saying when requesting an iap approach.

Is it possible to control both volume and rate of the voices used for FO etc.?

I've just purchased MCE and am getting up to speed on its use...so far, I'm enjoying it. But I've got a couple of issues that I suspect are due to user error. I did a test flight (KMEM-KGSO) last night with the PMDG MD-11F and MCE, and I used the flow/script provided by MCE. The only change I had to make was pointing the program to the MD-11F checklist as opposed to the MD-11 one. The first command in the script was for FO to put the parking brake on...no problems there. But when I next go to Cockpit Preparation, which the FO begins by turning on the battery, he skips that step, and the Prep stalls. I can hear him throwing switches, but no battery or APU kicks on.…

Hi Folks, Not sure if this is an MCE problem or not or whether i am missing something, but this has started to happen today. When i start my flight NGX cold and dark (at any airport including a FSDT airport), Simon comes on and tells me he is my ramp coordinator today, so when i'm ready I call up Simon and ask for Catering. He answers positively and contacts dispatch, then i wait and wait and....... After a while a GSX options dialog starts coming up every so often, but no catering. Finally if i get impatient, i hit #1 option in the dialog which is start GSX and immediately "deboarding" starts (which i didn't ask for), followed by a message from Simon saying, the …

maybe someone can help, After calling missed approach, tower switch me back to approach, and approach assign a heading/altitude, then say intensions. Here starts a problem, i ask for a ils approach, but no respond, i have tried different requests (ndb, vor etc.) but still no answer. what am I doing wrong? thanks in advance Bagno

Okay, I think I'm starting to understand voxscript a little better now that I have been mucking around, but I don't seem to get the verbose function. I have set out a detailed, working flow for the FO for the first flight of the day. The problem is when I chose verbose, he says and announces each function as he completes it. Don't want that. So if I shut off verbose, then he won't tell me when he has completed that flow. Is there a way to accomplish this so he/she completes the flow and then tells me when we're ready to go to the next order of business? Sorry, I'm new to this, but I'm havin' a lot fun so far. When on final, i want to announce a missed approach, but radar contact does not reply. It only will work by hitting the number two in the radar contact menu (missed approach option) Thus announcing :" tower, speedbird 1007 missed approach" radar contact does not respond. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Hi guys. I have searched this forum and the official website for an image to promote MCE in my signature in similar fashion to that used by alpha117. No luck. Is this a deliberate omission or just a marketing oversight?

The last few days, MCE is throwing up a warning each time I select a new aircraft or flight with a new aircraft. The aircraft will load, MCE will starting checking for changes with the plane...then the warning: Failed to locate Voxkey commands profile! Custom commands will be ignored for this session. will pop up in a window on top of FSX. After clicking "OK", another warning: Failed to append custom commands to grammar will appear in a window. After that FSX and MCE will run normally. What have I done wrong? Is there a setting to disable Voxkey? Thanks for all your help Henry

I've just about reached the conclusion that I need to replace my venerable Logitech Clearchat Pro headset. Despite being fitted with a nominally Noise Cancelling mic, it doesn't seem to matter whether I have the FO voice set really low (so low I struggle to hear it) on the external mini-speakers, or even routed through the headset itself, the mic still picks up the FO's voice and tries to interpret it as voice commands, leading Trav or Andy to go off on a feedback loop rant as he keeps answering himself over and over and over and over and over and.... Ahem. So, does anyone have any recommendations or particularly good experiences with headsets, specifically with …

team anyone else having this ... 90% of the time after gear down (after about 20 flights or so), copilot wiiliam is "not responding" to further flap / speed calls in the ngx. it is the time when cpu / gpu demand is high but then it is no issue for andy in the same situation. after we land, william can't wait to meet later (for a midi i suspect) never asking about "follow me" etc. i was hoping a fellow compatriot could perform when critical / required ... !! any comments ??

Hi All I am having problems with atc. I have traffic set to about 80 and i find it hard to respond to atc as other aircraft are talking so my ifr flight keeps getting cancelled. So i made the co pilot to handle atc which he does sort of. What keeps happening is when he replies to atc the message does not go through as others are talking and he only tried the once hence my ifr was cancelled man im p@@@@@. Thid has happened on more that one occasion. Can anyone please help me with this. I have fsx with win xp. Thank you

Hi All Has anyone tried voxatc and Multi Crew Expereince together, as im having problems to get the voice to work with the mce side, voxatc works fine. I just like the idea of having the copilot to do checklists etc, while in the flight and it would add more realisim to fsx. I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you for your help Ian

I've sent a support request via email but thought I'd try here also. Ever since installing V. 2.5..0.0 my MCE seems not to recognize FSX. The ATC / Checklist / Sim tabs all have " Data not available " in the area where the relevant data from FSX should be. Several clean reinstalls. Reset factory settings. FSinsider.dll present in FSX folder dll.xml entries for MCE verified license key in MCE folder ....no issues with Windows 7 64 bit on previous installs any suggestions ? cheers Greg

Today, the FS++ Team have released a new edition called "MCE Lite Edition". The target audience is the occasional simmer who wants to enjoy voice control, and talking to native ATC without breaking the bank. This package is restricted to the FSX & FS9 default aircraft only. There is No RC4 or PFE ATC support in this edition, and users don't have access to the advanced Voxscript or Voxkey features. No GSX & AES support in this edition either. Incidentally, this is the edition that won MCE the Avsim golden Award. As a bonus it now comes with high quality pe-recorded voices. Since installing lastest version 2.5.5, Security Essentials is warning me that MCE is an unknown program and needs checking by MS. Anybody else seeing this or is it my settings? Cheers, Mike
