I have been eyeing this product for a long time now, wondering should i buy or not. When listening to all of the different videos, both promotional and individual, the only thing that tends to put me off, is what seems like the sometimes "Smart Alec" replies from the F.O. Is there any way to control what the F.O. replies when given a directive? i.e. If you say "Select heading 260", can you set up MCE to have the F.O. reply "260" or "Heading 260" or "260 degrees" and nothing more? Not sure if this has covered...did a search and really didn't find my answer. Can MCE be run in a network, on a client PC. The reason I want to do this, I have PRO/ATC running on a client pc. I do this so I can use my usb headset to hear PRO/ATC sounds on my headset and all other sounds IE: aircraft , engine....over my 5.1 speakers connected to my main pc that is running FSX.So I want to use this same headset for MCE, and in order to do that i need it to run from my client pc.

Seeing how the FS++ team doesnt require an SDK to interface an add on with MCE, would it be possible to add the Airbus X Extended to the list of requests? I know you are working on the DC-9, the MD-80 and quite a few others, but the new Bus would be lovely!

I'm absolutely loving this plane, so I had to get some crew to join me. I know it's not fully supported yet, but with an F/O helping me out by managing checklists the experience is MUCH improved thanks to MCE. This took a long time to put together but it's all been worth it now I'm flying. I'm able to complete flights without referring to the manual or any other checklists etc, it seems to be working quite well now so that I'm happy to share it now. If anyone else would like to use it, and is successful over a few flights I will try and upload it to the AVSIM library. If any problems let me know and I might update it. This may be documented somewhere, and I apologize in advance if it is, but is it possible to pause the recognition of voice commands during the cruise phase? I've had a few errant voice commands switch something on or off when I was at cruise and it would be helpful to "switch off" the voice recognition temporarily to prevent that. Then switch it back on when things run up again prior to descent.

Some great news from the FS++ team: Within 2-3 months we will have 4 Extra First Officers on board and the FIRST female FO. Also a new ground crew(Mechanic) is joining the team. These voice packs will be available as FREE separate downloads as they are to big to include in the main download. As of 23/05, MCE website still shows 8.6, but it is 8.7 when you download it!

Is anybody interested in voice support for either of the upcoming Airbuses?? MCE doesnt need an SDK to program support so they probably wont need to wait until an SDK is released. Is anybody looking at getting the new BUSES??? I am seriously considering it! Maybe we could lobby soon?

I love MCE immensely but am having a problem. After a few minutes of running MCE the window at the top with all the MCE information in it goes away and i can't get it back. It happened with the CS 757 and IFLY 736. I couldn't find the answer in the forum so any help is appreciated!

Trying to run MCE with the new Airbus X extended but MCE window pops up and says there is a missing Avasoft3 xl.dll file missing and wants me to reinstall with MCE setup.exe. Whats goin on here? Anyone else? Mce works with other aircraft.

I have to repeat my call to ATC several times so that I can get it in between the other ATC instructions to other aircraft. I get that annoying beep. When pressing an ATC selection numerical button my response or request gets transmitted right away to ATC but when U have to say it, by the time I'm done ATC is talking to other aircraft and I get that beep. Is this normal? Is there a fix?

If I am in the process of setting up a flight and i need to for instance go into the control panel to make a change to let's say the checklist i want to use. i.e. If i have been flying the 747 and now i want the checklists for the PMDG 737 NGX, when the dialog opens the text box below the list of files starts to fill with a continuous string of the letter 'a' and it is imposible to select anything in the list of checklists in the dialog box. If this happens then my flight is toast and i have to start over. This sounds like a software issue that is beyond my scope of knowledge. Any ideas please. Can anyone explain what MCE is failing on here? I get this dialog with at least half of the aircraft I try to fly, and then MCE shuts down. The dialog tells me to send my aircraft.cfg to MCE support, but so far today that would be eight CFG files to email (listed below). My usual go-to aicraft is the Realair Scout, and just to compound things, I have had the MCE demo and the paid-for version working with the Scout so I am sceptical that the aircraft.cfg is solely to blame. I have attached the scout's aircraft.cfg to this message anyway. Does anyone else have this problem? What ATC would you recommend using out of VoxATC, Radar Contact, ProATC/X or PFE Deluxe? i'm looking for one that the co-pilot can handle comms with and I dont have to use precise scripted lines.

I thought I'd followup WIll's MD-11 startup and takeoff video by recording an approach/landing video. I'm also using one of the new voices, currently Clive is my F/O at the moment and I think the new voices are a big improvement over the old TTS. MCE works just so well with the MD-11, I hope this helps people who are still not decided in buying MCE. There are other products out there but none works as well as this in the MD-11, and none is as customisable. HI All I Haven't been using MCE much Lately i have been flying G A , I did fire up the update i downloaded a few weeks ago and as i was Quietly setting up the FMC my FO started letting me have it, Honestly i did not say a word , Something about me not putting my Stress on him so i Chuckled and Proceeded. I'm using the demo and when I select a new voice set from the menu and click ok, the application crashes. I can preview the voice set, and it plays fine, but it is when I click ok to accept the voice set that it stops responding. Any thoughts?

If I were to purchase my license from Simmarket, do I receive the same level of support? Mostly in reference to updates, etc. Also, what does your update processes look like? Are smaller patches released, or is it normally a full download and install over the top?

I just saw a post from Gerald on the FSL Concorde X. And that one made me think. I'd suggest to maybe open a thread where the MCE devs themselves present the, in their eyes, most likely new candidates on the MCE supported lineup. Taking into account the assumed user count, the wishes coming in via the forum or email and also the 'doable' category. The latter defining if it's even possible to include a plane due to the lack of a SDK (software development kit) from the plane's devs or other limitations, even legal ones.
