March 28, 201313 yr Hello chaps. Here is a video I was promising myself, ever since I learned MCE supported the MD-11. Does MCE support the MD-11? Put another way, I can not find one switch on the overhead that William ( or any of the 1st officer crew) can not operate. In my humble opinion MCE have triumphed. The MD-11, as you all know, is a very complex large machine. It is not (in real life), and in my opinion should not, in a true simulation, be flown by a single pilot. A always thought its like buying a Tandem Bicycle then riding it alone! That said, the film is rather long, has no eye candy, but hopefully demonstrates what can be achieved. We MCE supporters may like it, others may not! Best RegardsDavid
March 28, 201313 yr Author Great video, do plan on making a flow chart for the MD11? Hi. Which particular procedure? Don't say all of them..... :Praying: There is a good MD-11Paper Tutorial in the Start menu. It lists a great deal. If you need a chart I would just open the Vox Script editor up and write down what's there. If you notice the F/O "reports" his actions in the cockpit preparation flow. That's just the "verbose" checked. Of course then there are the PMDG Checklists....Wonderful detail. Best Regards David
March 28, 201313 yr Very good video David, once again I learnt a few extra commands that I didn't know you could use. Thanks for uploading. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

April 7, 201313 yr Author Just saw your new video Dave, using MCE with the NGX, very enjoyable, do you use FRAPS to record? Hello Will. Sorry I just came across your question, I have been Vox Scripting an Vox Keying quite a bit lately B) The short answer is yes. The longer answer is yes and no. Yes for in cockpit scenes. The frame loss in FRAPS capture matters less there. Now for the external shots and the "eye candy" clips, I use both FRAPS and FS Recorder together. I then split the sound from FRAPS and do a splice (tell how old I am? ) or mix, onto the FS Recorder render. Recall, FS Recorder does not render any sound, that's one of the reasons why its smooth and looses few frames. Its a wonderful hobby and when high quality simulated aircraft are used with superior software like MCE its something to marvel. Best Regards David.
