PMDG 777

I searched a bit for this answer and couldn't find anything that was specifically like my prob. SO normal kind of load. GW of about 560K. Took off and leveled at 4K for the departure. Then cleared FL 360, clicked CLB DIR and the poor bugger wouldn't climb or accelerate. Stayed about 235 kts. Tried CLB1....nothing. Tried CLB...nothing. The weird thing is I actually have about a 2-3 negative angle of attack on the AoA indicator and if you go to spot view you can see the plane is actually pointed downwards BUT I am getting about a 200 FT/min climb. Hi, I had some nasty stability issues in the last weeks, without touching anything during flight. That's the main reason i had crossed the pacific ocean more than a dozen times. Sometimes i just tried to. This issues seem to be solved meanwhile. Looks like they were net.-framework related. On my yesterdays leg i had enough time to waste some thoughts on the PFD crash issue. I knew it never happened on ground to me when departing and even not after landing. The trigger has to be something that happens enroute. Hi all I don't often fly long hauls but on the two recent occasions that I have, my VNAV data seemed to drop out in the latter part of the flight. Planning software being used PFPX AS16 B777-300 The setup for the flight is all pretty standard using the typical setup/route loading convensions - no particular issues of note. However - I was on my way to EGLL from OMDB yesterday. (Total flight time was 7h15). On commencing the descent into London, my FMC display began to flicker and I noticed that the speed/alt data had disappeared - except for the mandatory speed/ALT restrictions (in magenta) at certain waypoints. I have a weird problem with the glide slope. On some airports everything works fine,the white diamond appears on the upper half of the PFD , then I press LOC and APP which brings the aircraft on the G/S.( ex LSGG ) Now here is the problem,on some other airports the white diamond appears on the lower part of the PFD. LOC works,meaning turns to green,APP fails,meaning it remains white.( ex: LIMC and many more ) I tried all kind of approaches but nothing works. Can anybody help. Hello! I noticed that after 1-2 hours my PMDG 777's always stop working, like my FMC's wont respond and after i come to a complete stop, i cant go again. I dont know about other things but this is whats happening, Thanks, -Iacopo Marmeggi

I have the 777 in P3D 3,3,5 version. When I taxi from gate A 14 to rwy 9R as I pass the Hotel Sofitel on my left the sim crashes. I have tried the same taxi in FSX with the 777 with no problem. Tried the Carenado EMB 505 Phenom. From the same gate to rwy 9R past the Sofitel to the rwy in P3d with no crash. I used the house livery in test with FSX and P3d. I posted here and not in the P3d forum because it seems to point to the 777. I had a similar problem at EGLL. But didn't do the above testing there. Thank You. Bill McCracken

Gentlemen, an issue occur to me when using PMDG 777 within P3D2.5 I start the Simulator by choosing the Lookheed Raptor (Default). Engines running. Then I Switch to the 777 engines running. connecting ground power or APU then shutdown engines for gate duties. When preparing for departure I start the engines as normal for the 777. They behave normal when spooling up to idle. At idle the sound in General is a bit less noisy. On outside view you can see engines turning fine. Then i advance the levers for taxi and nothing happens. N1 stay fix at idle thrust (some 22% N1) and I can do nothing. Shutting down and restart somtimes result in one engine to wor…

I attempted an autoland at Geneva airport,rwy 05 and noticed that the GlideSlope indication showed white but did not turn to Green. The frequency was correct since the localizer turned to LOC in green. And weirder landing at the same airport and rwy with the B-737 works fine. Any ideas what I could do/try ? Hubert Werni

In Tutorial 1.5, page 31 'FLIGHT PREPARATION', after entering Flt No PFO103 in LSK2R and pressing REQUEST, I am shown a message saying "NO ROUTES AVAILABLE". Have I omitted a vital step? Or made some other error?

Hi all, Until now I was using the assumed temperature (65°C) and flap settings (5°) from the tutorial flight Maldives-Dubai for... all my flights! Yeah... :lol: Believe it or not: I ran short of runway only once with the "Long Haul" Fuel preset in FS Actions (150 tons or something like that). Just a quick one but did the night light for the cabin and tail ever get rectified? I heard it was going to be included in an update but I have seen anything materialize, I know the team have had their hands busy with the B747. Maybe it has been fixed but I simply missed it? Hi, out of the sudden all 777-200 models disappeared. The -300 variants are all visible. Anyone with any idea what may causes this? When I pick a flight, choose any -200 variant nothing is displayed. Thanks in advance for your help. Hans Nickessen

Been away for awhile and decided to refly the 777 Tutorial #1. I thought I had remembered the FMC programming, but when I reach the step where I enter the Flaps and CG numbers on the Takeoff Ref screen (everything else up to that point seemingly okay), there are no reference speeds showing for V1, VR and V2. I must've missed something somewhere, so what did I need to enter further back to make those VRef speeds appear? Simple question, I hope!

GREETINGS: Love the PMDG-777-200 that I recently purchased. I enjoy landing my aircraft manually for the last 5-10 miles. I don't think that I'm doing this correctly - and would welcome proper direction as the alarms are killing me! Particularly when I'm communicating w/Tower and Ground. First - I disconnect AP. Alarms start Then I push the bar back in. Alarm keeps going. I toggle everything to get rid of the sound... Sometimes I get lucky and I did the right combination to get rid of the horrible alarms and horns. So... what is the correct way to "take over the aircraft entirely" for landing.? For the last few weeks I have had a problem with the Cabin Altitude Warning coming on. I have been careful not to over-rotate on takeoff so I don't think it is a tailstrike event causing the problem, I saw a post that this warning can be caused by a bios clock issue. I noticed that my PC was not keeping correct time a few weeks back and I've got an ASUS Sabertooth Z87 motherboard which have been reported to be problematic. I've setup Internet Time Sync so my PC time now shows up correct but I saw the post that a BIOS update may be needed to allow the PMDG 777 to work properly. I don't really want to start flashing BIOS if I don't have to. Suggestions welcome.

Hi I had two questions regarding the 777. First one is takeoff procedure. I watched a tutorial by Matt Davies. His plane reads out the v1 speed aloud, mine is quiet. Also he spools up the engines to 70% and then goes to TOGA, which is fine but I notice that my plane struggles to reach even 100 knots. What am I doing wrong to not get the v1 audio cue and failing to reach actual takeoff speeds? My second question is for the altitude management. I load up the route exported by PFPX just fine, I can see all the legs with altitudes, VNAV and LNAV are active but the plane does not obey the set altitudes. Hi all, I'm a developer and really love boeing 777. That's why I'm making a home cockpit project. Unfortunately, I recognized there is some problem with the SDK when it work with P3DV3. It's outdated and it has some wrong Event ID, wrong data struct. I want to contact to PMDG 777 developers for supporting but I can't. How can I contact them ? Hello all, I'd like to draw your attention to an issue that has been plaguing me the past few days. I can barely describe it other than I am at a complete loss for words. To save time, here is my reddit post about this issue: I'm running v3.3.5 right now. I reinstalled it not too long ago. Also just got a second monitor. Decided to do a a YYZ-YVR sector yesterday in the 777 to prepare for CTP. Glad I did, because P3D ended up doing a CTD.
