PMDG 777

Hi Might be getting omega and p3d to move from my fsx Do I need to do any tweaks like I do in fsx or is it pretty much tune settings in options and fly Cheers for any advice

hi there i bought pmdg 777 and i really had a good experiance with it i have some problems with landing every time > terrain caution and pull up .. i did every thing right for landing no mistakes with no any terrain or mountains ,, that happen in any airport i hear that caution in 0900ft not stop until touch down flaps 25-30, gears down, and app speed set any help

Dear fellow airmen, I saw in a Youtube video that real world 777 pilots read the total flight time somewhere on the status page. I think it was near the bottom right corner. I never saw this in the PMDG. Is this feature implemented, and if yes, how do I get it? Thank you Lars

Hi, what's the 1 engine out speed of the 777? I know that in the tutorial it is stated that we should draw 420nm rings around the nearest suitable airport (not our ETOPS-alternates, I know) to mark the borderline where we are entering into the ETOPS-zone on the ND. The problem arose when I saw that the ETOPS-borders of PFPX don't match a 420kts line. In fact, they match a 480kts line. I know that this depends on the wind as well, but I'd like to know what 1EO speed I can assume. Can I take 480nm rings or do I have to teach PFPX the 420kts? Regards Lars

Hello everybody i would really appreciate your help, in this one. I recently purchased pro atc and lately, after enough simming years i started entering the stars and star transitions etc in the fmc while on flight, as soon as pro atc gives me my needed info. The problem is that, while still on ground, after finishing with my flight plan (everything except the star entry as stated before), my PERF page, FUEL quantities, FORECASTS etc everything is ok except the fact that the legs after exiting the sid have no speeds and altitudes. The fmc only keeps the speeds and altitudes of the sid. As soon as i enter a star and a landing runway everything gets filled up nicely. I …

I want to download 777-200LR/F Base Package SP1d. I bought my original copy form an online retailer, not from PMDG. Can anyone please tell me how do i download the update, as i cant find it anywhere on PMDG website. I have registered with PMDG but as i didnt buy my copy of 777-200 from them there is no record of my purchase. :wink: Many thanks in advance. Tweedy

Hi, each time I click with the mouse in the VC, I have a micro pause, either if I click on a button of the cockpit or in any point of the screen. This does not happen at all with the 737 NGX. Any clue on what it may be caused by? I have P3D v3.4 with the latest hotfix. Thanks.

Cant find any thread on when a 777 Tutorial #2 will be out??

Spoke with support last week and they said it is a known bug with the Ops Center and data uplink in FSX Steam that happens. But I am missing having the wind data uploaded, I am getting carpel tunnel syndrome manually entering all the wind data for each waypoint in pre-flight. Has any one found a work around fix to get the data uplink working? I would like to not wait until after the 747 release and then the development team fixes this. Thank you... - David Lee

I was landing at LHR with the 777-300ER the other day, and when I was locked and coming down the glideslope, at about 1000ft, the terrain alarm screamed all the way until I touched down on 27R, despite I was in full landing configuration (flaps 30, gear down, autobrakes 1) scenery : UK2000 London extreme I would be grateful for a reply.

Hi, simple question: will the Tutorial #2 be ever available?

I thought because I had tried some new Inspector settings, that I had caused a problem, but when going back to the NGX, there is no problem. Not so in the 777. When I am changing heading and banking to the new heading, I kind of jerks as it is turning instead of turning smoothly. This is only in flight. In other words, my sim is nice and smooth and no stutters turns on the ground or artifacts etc. my frames are good and my GPU usage is normal. Any ideas?

System ....... LM P3D Aircraft Types ...... PMDG 777 and 737NGX Trying to fly into my new FSDT KORD but I don't have any STAR options in the DEP/ARR page on the FMC. Hi folks !! Wonder if anyone has had a similar issue. I haven't been able to complete any long haul flights because I get this Cabin altitude alert. At the same time this happens, the A/P seems to ignore VNAV and LNAV for it starts either climbing or descending and also it deviates from the planned route path. I have actually timed the occurrence of this problem and it happens every one hour during the flight(mostly during cruise, although it has happened during any phase of flight) Now, the curious thing is that the problem stops by pausing the simulation for a few seconds and then the A/P regains control, but then after exactly an hour the problem reappears again. out of nowhere randomly I notice i'm drifting off course and when i try to press the heading bug, nothing happens then the plane starts violently flipping in the air all over the place and there goes my hours and hours of planning. It's really frustrating. Any help or ideas?

Hi, the title says it all: When would I use minima as altimeter, and when as height? The Approach Plates indicate barometric minima in bold letters and radio minima in brackets behind and I always ask myself, "what do I use now", and usually I end up using barometric minima. I tried to load the PMDG 777 for the first time in a few months and it asked me for the activation code and I entered it and it came up with the successful activation message then when I load up the aircraft in FSX it does not initialize all systems and the landing gear isn't visible and now every time I load FSX it askes me for the activation code and it tells me the activation was successful but it still doesn't load properly and I can't fly the aircraft at all Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem? I have tried reinstalling the PMDG 777 but that didn't work

Ok this may sound odd, but this is like the 4th time its happened, LNAV is fine until it reaches a waypoint, suddenly, it veers off course, and altitude decreases, however A/P is engaged.I then disconnect the A/P to correct the issue then with manual controls, the aircraft rolls forward and is uncontrollable,as if I was slewing, when i'm not. Then all kinds of warning ring as the aircraft smashes into the virtual ground doing barrel rolls forward all the way down.. Any Ideas????. I am using ASN, and planning the route using Simbreif. I use SimBrief or PFPX to do my flight planning. In both, they just group the passengers, baggage and cargo into single figures: Passengers: 203 Baggage: 3103 Cargo: 36123 In the airplane it has forward and aft cargo, as well as First, Business and Economy class. How do you distribute it out? Or do you just use Random loads and the Short/Medium/Long button (and, if so, how do you configure derates, etc)?

Hey Guys! I'm trying to setup my flight controls with the 777 through FSUIPC, and I can't get the elevators and ailerons to work. No problems with the 737 or any other airplane. They show up fine within the FSUIPC axis menus, but when I get in the VC, nothing! They even register okay within the joystick calibration section. This is using ANY type of controller axis. Hi all B777 fans! I am having a problem with my PMDG B777. After I updated the FSUIPC on my computer the B777 stopped during loading. When the countdown clock is passing 17 it disappears but everything seems to work as it shall.Exept i can't control the throttle from my joystick and the tail rudder and elevator won't move at all with both the joystick and my keyboard. I have the newest version of the 777 and FSUIPC. Have tried to uninstall B777 and do a clean install of the plane. Nothing works exept removing the FSUIPC. The problem have not happend before the update of the FSUIPC. the problem happend first with the FSUIPC version before the current one FSUIPC4 4.958…
