PMDG 777

Hi Everyone, This is one of those stupid little pet peeves. Perhaps someone did encounter this previously? See my picture attached. Basically all the light reflections are a bit distorted and pixelated. I loved their Q400 series, but the production quality and the level that this training is pitched at feels even better than before. For me, it never seems overly complex or confusing and has a decent amount of dry British humour (sorry Americans!). At take-off when the aircraft reaches about 120 kt the brakes are blocked and it is impossible to repair in the FMC. "brakes and tails failure" in the FMC !! I did not program the FMC for failures. But this problem often occurs but not always Do you have a solution ?

Hello everyone, I wanted to know if the PMDG 777 comes with some cabin announcements like that found on the Aerosoft A320. If so, where can I find the .wav file and where within the 777 can I activate that function? Thanks for the help.

Very strange and loud crackle in the cockpit that is somehow tied to engine sounds. If the engines are going full TOGA the crackle is very high pitched, if the engine is lower RPM the pitch of the crackle does down. Any suggestions what could be causing this? The sim is freshly installed P3D.

Do you think the 777 will have an extracted flight model like the Majestic plane to get better FPS?

I've been flying the same (ILS) approach a few times now because it seems to happen differently each time. In the beginning of the approach everything appears normal. The FMC has the landing speed at 170, and when the G/S is captured the speed indicator on the MCP should read 170 right? Well, sometimes it does, and sometimes it sets it to 179 for some reason, even though it still says 170 in the FMC. Any idea what would cause this? In addition, sometimes Land 3 engages, sometimes not. I'm assuming the plane needs to be within certain limits in order for Land 3 to activate - any idea what those are?

This is really bugging me now. My Hours will not save after a prolonged flight, so service based failures will never work because the service hours will not be saved. I get no Event viewer errors. Addons I use are ASN FTX Global REX4 and Softclouds UK2000 Heathrow PrecipitFX And to add to that, If I load from start and exit without a flight the hours file gets updated so its a crash on exit after a flight that is beyond me to solve. Hello fellow 777 pilots (devs): This has been asked before for FSX. The lua is used to counter FSX friction bug. Is this issue also present in P3D? Is it recommended to use it with the 777? I'm using it and feels like it's not very realistic (i.e. full load, starts to roll very slowly even at ground idle, that doesn't feel right). Can someone from the dev team clear this up? Thanks in advance.

Hi, the PMDG 777 stops too quickly on the runway after landing. I don't need autobrakes at all, the airplane stops before half runway even without them. With the autobrakes, even at 1, my house garden would be enough to make it stop. Are you sure the braking model is correct?

Hello all, I haven't experienced oom for a long while since I dicovered the workaround to significantly reduce the risk of OOM (not to select STAR in preflight stage but before descent, because the VAS may continuously accumulate en-route if the STAR has a certain kind of missed approach precedure), but everything got ruined when I flew my PMDG 777 into CYYZ. I am just curious to know if there is someone who has successfully fly a PMDG 777 into Flytampa Toronto CYYZ. Even though I had a flight from Flightbeam KSFO HD to FSDT KLAX, I didn't experience OOM. Hello, I have an issue when using the B777 on FSX SP2: every time I close FSX it crashes. The faulting module is always kernel32.dll. I searched through the forum and I found many topics about this subject but they never offered a solution. I have FSUIPC free edition fully updated, W7 64 bit fully updated. I don't have VAS issues when ending a flight as I have as low as 3GB of Virtual memory. I also tried PMDG support ticket but they didn't answer. Any solutions? Giorgio

I want to step climb in the 777 and use pfpx fine and it calculates the step climbs and also the fmc shows the step climbs in the legs page. It also shows it in the recommended FL so I know I'm not to heavy st that point but wen with the auto step climbs enabled in the options in fmc and the level dialled in already on the MVP it still isn't climbing without me forcing t to climb by pressing in the altitude button on MVP Can someone advise as I'm sure I'm missing a step (no pun intended) Cheers

Hi, I have a problem that on short final LAND 3 disconnects and says not available. Initially it connects and lights up green. Is there a setting somewhere that I have turned on to disconnect LAND 3 automatically? Thanks in advance, Ron

I often get the above message after which the FSX stops. For a while it seems that only the PMDG-777 and PMDG-777ER shows that problem. However today I was surprised when the same thing happened with the PMDG-737. My system is Windows 10,before I used Windows 7 and never had that problem. Hi All, Just purchased the T7 300 for P3d and was looking forward to using the taxi cam. I have a home cockpit setup where i have multi monitors. I normally undock all the displays and move them to another screen. I can't seem to move the taxi cam. If i undock it the cameras disappear and i'm left with just the borders of the camera showing. Is this a limitation with the camera or is it a P3d limitation. If this isn't possible do any of you home cockpit guys and gals use a solution with the in built p3d view system? A couple of times now, when setting up the cockpit in the 777. I have left clicked the RTO knob, it moves over to RTO then flicks back to the off position. I have tried taking off with it in the off position - engaged TOGA and the aircraft would not reach V1. Bill MacLeod

Since updating my Navigraph to the 12/16 version it is no longer possible to follow the flight plan outlined in the 777 tutorial 1. Specifically BUBI6A star no longer appears, the possible substitution previously suggested no longer appears either. There is no way to progress with the route setup without a substantial number of "discos" . Is there any way to set the navigation data back to the September 2013 version (for which the tutorial was written) OR can someone suggest another work around. Perhaps Kyle has some suggestions Eh?

I just purchased the 777. Is SP1 included or do I still have to download it? If so, can someone help to do so? I have followed the directions and still cannot find the SP1.
