Hello. First of all, let me introduce myself, I'm kind of new in this forums. I'm a Commercial pilot student form Colombia. I'm really exited about PMDG doing the 777 as my first flight ever was on one 777-200, and that's what made me take the decision to be an airliner pilot 12 years latter. I'm a little bit shamed to ask this, as this should have been discussed milions of times (didn't have luck with the search function). Is there any info on what engine variant is the 777-200LR going to be equipped with. As far as I know. There are two options, GE 90-110B1 and GE90-115B1. Are both variants available? And regarding capacity, the worldliner has three optional aux…

Hello I just asked myself if the engine sound noise in the flightdeck will be different because of the length of the aircraft. The 777-300ER is much longer so in the cockpit there should be lesss noise I asume. Is that considered by the sound engeneer of PMDG? Please change the topic name. The 77 comes from finger trouble I guess.

Does anyone know of a link to the actual flight test program for the 777. I normally fly as an airline pilot between two destinations etc following tutorials. With the NGX I also use FS2Crew which handles most of the functionality. I can complete flights manually of course but was thinking it might be good to follow the testing program of the 777 so that all the systems that are modelled get utilised. Might give me a better understanding of those systems as well.

I don't know why they say they are secretly testing new automation to build the new 777X, but it's a good read anyhow. http://seattletimes.com/html/businesstechnology/2021614473_boeing777xxml.html

Hello can you answer please theese questions? 1) What are the blue and white rotaing rngs on the EHSI for? 2) Does the 777 start engine with packs on? Also with dual engine start? 3) what do the blue arrows next to airports on the EHSI mean? 4) I saw in a video that the DING DONG messages like "CABIN READY" are announced. Are there more messages like "NO MOBILE". Do the pilots cancel the messages or will they go after a certain time? 5) What do the white boxes on the upper EICAS mean next to the EICAS Caution messages. Some of the messages have some don`t have a white box at the beginning. Thanks for help.

i ask about the EFB in the PMDG 777 , i know that PMDG says that jeppesen requests money for subscirbe the charts and for that reason PMDG does.t Programmed the EFB , but i want PMDG rethink , pepole like me i have subscribe for IFR europe charts for 1 year in jeppview , why PMDG don,t allow to open the charts in EFB from my computer , so anyone have subscibe for the charts like me can use the EFB , only i want PMDG to program the EFB and anyone have subscribe for the charts in his computer can open it , and that's make the aircraft more realstic Thank you

Just wanted to show off one of Alex's last minute improvements here - the EGPWS terrain on the ND has gotten a rather dramatic facelift vs. what was in the NGX and it looks very very close to the real thing now:

Yesterday evening, Peter did what I believe to be the very first streaming video flight on the 777. I'd like to within this forum thank him, for his initiative and time to give us all a realistic view of what we hope to experience ourselves after purchase? He was clear and thorough with his review and seeing it 'in-the-flesh' like that, must have attracted even more customers than PMDG already have waiting in the wings. This to me, is a first ever idea and it's typical of PMDG, as leaders in FS development to make this great innovation to everyone who also appreciates PMDG for all the expertise they allow us to share. Thanks Froogle and PMDG for this demon…

Hello I want to ask if this callout AIRSPEED LOW" is simulated in the PMDG777. This callout is an airlines option like "V1" or "ENGINE FAIL". it can be heard reaches the minimum air speed. I heard that in the ifly 737 the first time. Here is an example during the GPWS test in a 737NG. Can also the callout "ENGINE FAIL" be selected? I heard that in the old PMDG 737NG in the year 2003 for the first time.

Hi Everyone I have been knocking out a number of realistic based on Flightaware data, medium and long range flight plans for use once the B777 is released - with my longest planned so far, a relatively modest (for the B772LR/F) 4951NM. When planning a shorter flight in the B737 series, fuel burn is pretty much constant throughout the flight and hence flight time x fuel rate gives me the required fuel needed to complete the trip. Then you add the holding, altn fuel fixed reserve and any additional fuel thought necessary to give you a fuel required at start up. It will obviously be a lot harder here with the 777 as the fuel burn rate could easily change by a considerabl…

Hi guys, just wanted to post a quick question of concern. In a video of the PMDG 777 Beta flight, in external view I saw the engines what I call "spazzing" around instead of smooth rotation just like the NGX. So I am asking: Have they not implemented the animation YET or just done away with it? EIDT: Or have I just missed something.

Hi everybody Just building a few real world flight plans for when the B777 comes out, but this one has me a bit stumped. Going from FIMP (Mauritius) to YPPH (Perth) I came across co ordinates such as S 21 30.0 E 072 48.0 I am happy entering a coordinate like S20 00.0 E 090 00.0 as 2090S but how do I enter S 21 30.0 E072 48.0 into the FMC? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Tim

Hi Guys and Girls (im not sexist), Just a quick question, i dont want to know about issues or bugs picked up, i just would like to know the following: In regards to to the Ground Proximity System, Luke said he was quite shocked this morning when he turned it on and it looked different (i hope i understood him correctly), that was after Ryan and the dev's made some changes, now here my question. Does the dev's as bugs or issues are fixed after reporting send service packs to the Beta Team on a periodic basis, so that all are on the same page at all times? Just interesting thats all! Cheers everyone!

Hello i have been looking around on the pics and vids that are available to us to see if PMDG have modelled the nose from the VC. Not very important as the aircraft is beautiful but could someone shed some light on this for me please. Basically sometimes personally i like to sit on the dash and just pear over the nose, nice angel and i wondered if this has been done like on the NGX. ? Thanks Stevo
