hi folks since i had the pfpx and as2012, every thing was working just perfect(weather uplink, coroute etc) but this morning i decided to make a flight from EHAM to FACT. i ve made my flight plan in pfpx with the as2012 weather then export it to the pmdg 777 (both weather and rte). normaly it was working just fine but today it tels me an invalid entry, i ve checked the flightplan folder in the pmdg folder the exported plan exist. and on the upper side of the sim it tels me ''the destination airport not find in selected rte file: import aborded'' i ve tried 3 other destination airports from EHAM to check but none of them work.

Hi guys Bit of a problem with my latest flight from Paris to St Marten. Basically the thrust is stuck at 84.3 N1 and will not increase to reach the cruise speed (.84). I can manually increase the throttle to stop the plane from stalling. This has never happened before and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Hello PMDG 777 Pilots, I have two issues, almost completely unrelated, but I didn't want to waste forum space with two separate topics. So anyway, here goes... Issue one is the more important one in my opinion. The issue is in regards to auto time compression. I appreciate the feature a lot, and having recently solved the issue of 4x< loading, I would like to solve this last one. Simply put the aircraft never seems to want to speed up, or when it does it's only for a couple of seconds. As I write this my T7 is flying over the Indian Ocean, in a straight line for tens/hundreds of miles, with no AI, minimal weather from the looks of it, and it's not speeding up whats…

Hi The T7 is performing very well. However, all of a sudden on every flight and every 200sm or so a wailing sound comes out followed by a posting of PLIOT RESPONSE in RED (one Line) and in AMBER (two lines) on the EFIS. No specific malfunction and it does not affect the flight in anyway except the annoyance of the wailing.. Only way to get rid of it is to change screen on the EFIS i.e. going from Fuel to AC or Hydraulic etc. Is that an intended error? All failures are set to off. I am not ready yet to deal with failures. Bill

Hi all, I've been using FlightSim Flight Keeper (FSFK) to monitor and log all my FSX flights for years. One of the FSFK features is live 'event' logging. I've noticed that when flying the T7, when I change either of the NAV radios in the FMC Nav/Radio page, manually entering a VOR name/ident for example, I get a ton of NAV freq changed events in my FSFK event log - guessing one event every 20 or 30 seconds! When I use the FMC delete key to wipe any manually entered NAV ident change, the flood of Nav Freq events in my FSFK log stop, and only indicates real freq change events, when the FMC changes them automatically. Now I understand the FSFK developer is waiting…

When selecting a vertical speed in the T7 I have to move the mouse wheel in the opposite sense. For example if I roll my mouse wheel forward the vertical speed increases rather than decreasing and the opposite is true. So in effect you are moving the mouse wheel in the opposite direction to the movement of the v/s wheel on MCU. In the NGX the mouse wheel and the vertical speed wheel on MCP move in the same direction in other words move the wheel forward and vertical speed decreases. I wondered why the difference? especially as the NGX method matches the real world.

A strange pause. Looks like I am the next person to encounter this phenomenon. Just left Buenos Aires bound for London with time compression on in the cruise and when I looked at the screen to see how she was getting on it had frozen. I have no idea how long it had been frozen for but it was for at least another five mins. I decided to leave it and see what happens as I have read of this and when I came back in from the kitchen it was running again. I have done about 20 flights in this plane now and that had never happened. How many of you have experienced this issue?

Hi all, When i starr my cockpit from "Cold and Dark" after i turn on the APU etc.. When i click on the 1 or 2 on the ATC windows nothing do. I'm not abla to comunicate with the ATCController. I'm having an issue with the external lights at night whenever the visibility is lower the usual. (6sm or less) When visibility is normal, say 10sm or more, the external lights have that nice flooding effect, and I can really see the ground during taxi. Today, however, there was lower visibility at VHHH and when I turned on the taxi light, I noticed it was just this faded grey color, resembling that of default triangle lights you see with regular planes/AI tfc.. It actually obstructed my view of the taxiway line rather than help me see it. I set visibility back to 10sm manually, and the lights switched back that HD splash mode instantly. Hi All Pilots. Its a bit embarrassing to ask but its better to ask than stay mum. I am configuring my cdu for a flight to opkc from omdb. The Approach to opkc is being done on LOTA2B STAR into RWY 7R. First of all 7R is not equipped with ILS. Secondly this approach results in a route discontinuity between the last star waypoint and the runway. This ofcourse gives me a msg on my PD: "LDG ALT" in amber meaning missing landing altitude. My question is there a way I can make this approach a little bit more smoother where I can resolve the LDG ALT indication?

I bought the PMDG 777 a couple of days ago and I'm frankly blown away. It's easy to dismiss some of the praise as hype but here's my experience: My machine is an older Dell desktop Core 2 Duo 2.93GHz with 4GB of RAM and Win7 64-bit. The video card is a low-end GeForce 210. I can still get 20FPS with the correct settings as recommended by PMDG (turning down the AA due to the card's limits) and that is amazing. I was worried that my hardware couldn't keep up but wow...wow. Ignoring the tutorial on purpose I was able to fly the plane (badly) and do some pattern work. Thanks PMDG for the instant gratification of a powered airplane ready to go from first install. The …

I follow the normal procedures outlined in the PMDG 777 documentation and whenever I start the second engine, after I turn the selector to START and put the fuel control switch to RUN (no matter what engine I start first), I get a yellow warning light "CAUTION", but no EICAS message and the light stays on for the entire flight until I exit to the main FS screen. I have tried pushing the warning light, but it still stays on. I wonder if someone knows why this is? Thanks
