PMDG 777

    Hello guys I was wondering if there were laptop users active here and if they had problems running it with airports addons like flightbeam washington and flytampa Dubai etc. If yes could you tell me how much FPS you have and which laptop you exactly have? I am planning to buy one and use it for long haul flights between airports like Aerosoft and stuff. Regards

    Got all set up for long ANA (livery) flight RJTT-KLAX and during push back I couldn't get the left engine to start. RH engine started normally. No fuel flow for left eng during startup. Tried several tricks and thoroughly inspected my setup but could find nothing wrong. Anyone else see this or have any idea whats going on? I started the flight from a saved Short Turn saved flight and suspect that the issue may be related to how the flight was saved, butt.......... Ken Boardman

  6. THis is more one for the real pilots amongst you. All the STARS into EGGD come to a waypoint 3000' directly above the Airport runway waypoint BRI and then loop away and back to land. I fly into EGGD from Edinburgh all the time as a passenger and this just never happens either you go straight into 27 if you are coming from the East or if coming from the west for 27 you come over Brecon go due East North of bristol turn 90 degrees right go a few miles and then 90 degrees right again to land on 27 in other words a circuit but there is no STAR for either of these approaches and nothing in the STAR or Airport documentation which is the real NATS documentation mentions any ap…

  8. Hi! First of all: I just love the the PMDG 777-200LR! But i have a question: There are not so many airlines in the real world which operate the Boeing 777-200LR. The Boeing 777-300ER has a range of about 14500KM, which is really enormous. It seems that the 17000KM range of the -LR is not really required, because even the ultra long range route "Dubai-Los Angeles" is possible for with the -300ER. So, can you tell what is the big advantage of the Boeing 777-200LR? I mean the -300ER can carry much more passangers and the range of the Boeing 777-300ER is more that enough, right?     A number of times I have tried to delete the next waypoint in the flight but have received a message like invalid delete. How do you manage around this. I understand you can insert easily a waypoint after that way point to remove it but if it is the start of a star or in the middle of a star it doesn't work. Peter Rowan

    Hello Pilots, i have a strange problem and i dont understand how i can resolve it. I get FMC Message, but there is no FMC Message in FMC. I switch thru all pages, but no message appear... Thats why i'm confused. I think the last deleted message will not delete EICAS Message. If i get the next message, FMC Message will be clear... This happens to me now more then three times in hole of my 150h of flight. So i can't reproduce this error...

    Hi, When the A/T is ON during the landing I find that the idle set position is pretty long. What do you think about that? Normally the idle position comes pretty fast to engage the reverse. In my case I have to wait 3 seconds after the touch down to engage them. ( the time that the throttles come completly to idle). The idle position could be set between 30ft and the touchdown.     I have tried 10+ flights in this aircraft now, and while I have not encountered any issues in the air, getting to and from the runway itself is a complete nightmare! Every time I try to taxi the aircraft will either pull full left of full right with full rudder deflection. I know this isnt due to the weather in FSx and it always results in me having to slam on the brakes and put the rudders full left and right a few time before it will center, then it happens all over again within a few seconds, Any knowledge on a resolution for this would be great.     It's easy to see how to set TA for departure area; however I don't see a place to set the FMC TA for the destination (as with the MD11). Is it even possible to do this with the T7 FMC? Is this even necessary? Thanks, Ken Boardman

  25. Flying towards waypoint LOVEK today, I was displaying ACT LOVEK WIND page as page 2/66. It was not possible to display page 1/66 using the PREV PAGE key. Having crossed LOVEK, the ACT ASNOT WIND page then displays as 3/65, rather than 1/64. ASNOT is the next but one waypoint with DELMI in between. So the ACT DELMI WIND page is being skipped. This surely is a bug-let!
