PMDG 777

    All the approaches I've made in the 777 have been a struggle. I can't keep the nose down while on final I trim it to where I need it, get it on the GS then the nose starts to rise even when I mantain the same airspeed or slow down. It's like there is a little gremlin in there and when he sees I'm nailed on the GS he decides to hit the up trim. I had to push the yoke most of the way forward to get the plane to respond. It's not a hardware issue as the yoke works great with the NGX ect. Any thoughts?

    Hello i wonder if there is a way to power up the T7 from cold and dark without using the apu but ground power. Cant get any CDU working without APU and therefore it is not possible to select ground connections. Regards stefan

    Hello, Today while i was trying to learn the T7 i opened RAT and pressed it, it moved to the unlocked position, when i tried to press it back to it's normal position it didn't work, after engine start the press button appeared, but again pressing it didn't help. i got the RAT unlocked message on the upper EICAS. is that a normal behavior? how can i lock it back to normal? cheers.

    I have my default panel state/load state as long turnaround. The Check list is never pre-flight and on completing the pre-flight it jumps to before taxi, never before start. It's been like this from day one of the T7 coming out. Is it a bug with panel state or a bug my end? Thanks

    Hello guys, My name is Jordan. I have used the 777 with my code i purchased. A couple days ago i had to re install the 777 due to useless problems. It asks me for the activation code however when i put it in and click on activate it comes up with this message.. "Only deployed entitlement line item can be fulfilled. [incident# 6626-4143496]" I have contacted PMDG and i am awaiting a reply however i just wanted to post in here in case one of you has also had this issue. If you have and know a solution to it PLEASE help me! Thank you guys, Jordan

    Hello, I looked into specifications of 772LR and 777F. The max Range of 777F is 4.900nm and of 772LR 9.395nm. As I understand both airplanes are more or less the same in weights, engines etc. Why is the max. Range so significant different. Thanks in advance Regards Andreas Hövel

    hello everbody i am having this problem since yesterday morning i disscused this on an other topic but no answer(http://forum.avsim.net/topic/422248-terrain-terrain-warning/) i get a terrain alert on rotation on takeoff just after the nose gear lifts off.until 500-1500 ft agl. im having this on EVERY SINGLE takeoffs since yesterday and before submit a ticket i just want to make sure that im not doing someting wrong. any advice ??

  12. Here's a reproduceable bug: 1. Arm the Forward Cargo Fire failure. 2. When the fire is activated, bring up the ECL. 3. The first item in the ECL is a closed-loop item to ARM the FWD Cargo switch. When you do this, the check list item does not close. Interestingly enough, if you ARM the AFT switch, the item is checked off. If you run the aft cargo fire failure, the check list works as it should. Can anyone else give it a try?

    Hi all. PmdgT7 is awesome. I have one query here. While I am departing from airport I have over rotated and Tailstrike has occurred and immediately on Eicas corresponding MSG appeared and Ecl is gone to non normal thing and Tailstrike checklist has appeared. According to checklist the pressurisation should be turned to manual and it is done by pulling the knob and outflow valves should be off which is done by clicking on two valves. The second step is where I cannot able to do what is given in Ecl. It has mentioned to keep open the valves by holding them for certain period of time until open warning is displayed.     I'm having problems with the thrust increasing on it's own after I start the engines. I use the Saitek Pro Flight yoke without the throttle controls. Meaning I use F1, F2, F3, and F4 to control the thrust. Before I start the engines I press F1 to verify that the thrust levers are at full idle. I have the GPU and Air Start units hooked up to the aircraft while performing the engine start.     Hi All, I am wondering if PMDG has confirmed in any way that the FBW/handling behavior has issues or is being tweaked? For the third flight in a row, I had issues after disconnecting the AP to perform a manual landing from an ILS approach. I was fully established, had a very smooth 3deg glideslope, and was stable in trim.     As I was coming into my final landing phase and at around 30 feet I realized I am being missed the Tdz of runway and thought I should go around and this is what happened. Pressed my toga assigned button on saitek throttle setup and nothing happened. Aircraft has just touched its wheels on runway and a/t started to decrease the throttle no matter what I'm inputting into my hardware throttles. Finally I have disengaged my a/t and pushed my throttles to full power and I initiated go around. I don't understand. Maybe I have done arming the speed brakes and auto brakes to 2 which is normal for landing and when gear touched the ground a/t decreasing the throttle. What should …

  21. I remember seeing it somewhere in the PMDG configuration setup but now I can't find it. Can someone tell me where it is? It's annoying to have the flight pause all by itself. i'd like to turn that 'feature' off. Thank you. One other thing- try as I might I can't seem to make the 777 start up with "inches/HG" for the altimeter, it always starts in HectoPascals. Anyone?

    Hello, So i have been flying around the virtual world with this wonderfull plane! But one thing has come to mind. I land the plane, park her at the gate and then open some doors for disembarking of pax and cargo. When the plane is turnaround manually the doors when closed for departure do not automatically go to arm. (it being a sim makes that its not an issue). This means that I have to open all doors manually and close them before they can be armed. Why not make a seperate button on the CDU (doors page) to arm all the doors at once? Any thoughts?

  24. I forgot to set the RTO switch before pushback. During taxi I found that selecting the switch to RTO was immediately reset to OFF by the sim. Only when I came to a halt at the runway holding point was I able to set RTO. The FCOM manual only states "Selecting RTO (rejected takeoff) prior to takeoff arms the autobrake system. The RTO mode can be selected only on the ground". No mention that the aircraft has to be stationary.
