PMDG 777

  1. This is really strange and I could not find anything in the forum related to such an issue. 1. It happens only in long haul flights. You can see in the SS that time in flight was 8:28 hours en route EGLL-WSSS. When it happens it always happens in the last third of the flight (Time-wise). 2. The problem: The 777x "Lands" itself in an uncontrollable manner. The engine still running, everything looks good (except of the impact of the "landing" like tail strike for example). See that even the landing gear somehow drops down for landing, all by itself... How can this happen, I wonder. 3. Obviously I do not seat at the sim in such a long flights. I am by the sim until cruis…

    Maybe I don't have the ring settings but when ever I select the runaway I am going to land on, I get an error message about the ILS frequency. I have to manually put in the number. Any help would be greatly needed. Jetx44

    From Guayaquil Ecuador (SEGU) to Kabul Afghanistan (OAKB) and it took me a total of 18 hours and 53 minutes. Did it all on IVAO and no problems at all! This is the ultimate FSX stress test.

    I just experienced, it may have been happening the whole time but I just noticed now, the 1 engine EGT jump approx 60 degrees on start. The engine will spool up and EGT will rise until it stope for some seconds, then jump up to normal. I searched and saw others experienced this but no official comment. Any word on this issue? Adam

    As the title says it well, I have EzDoc Cam with the PMDG777 config from Froogle I think. Anyways, on landing my camera just keep going crazy and it's just shaking to much and all and I don't understand why, my first flight didn't have that problem but it's been 2/3 flights from then since I've started having this problem. Today on my landing at EGKK after a long flight from TAPA I found myself out of the cockpit on landing and still with this camera going crazy from left to right and from up to down. I don't understand what I might have done wrong. Can someone help please ?

    I have been observing the following during quite some time now, first with the NGX and now with the T7. And with all Airac Cycles, the latest is 1310 from Navigraph. I always enter the routes manualy in the FMC. Enroute from LPPT to OMDB over Cyprus. As seen on the above screenshot we are on UM978 heading to Larnaca LCA NDB At LCA NDB we will continue on UR655. As seen there is also a Larnaca LCA VOR. VOR L is tuned on LCA VOR 112.80 and ADF R is tuned on LCA NDB 432.00. And here is the possible bug in the FMC. The FMC use the NDB instead of the VOR. The route should pass over the LCA VOR and not the LCA NDB. Opening the wpnavrte.txt and wpnawaid.txt files from FSX/…

    Please help me? After landing yesterday I could not cancel the a/p or a/t warnings that continued up to the ramp. I then switched on the autopilot and they stopped but, of course this should not be necessary. Is this a bug please?     hi i have a little question. i have a problem with creating new waypoint with new name for my etops entry and exit points. i ve put the cordinates in the legs page without any ptoblems but i want to change their name as ''entry'' and ''exit''. for that i ve put them on fix then gone to the navdata/ident and ive put ''entry'' as ident then it gave me a cordinate and i ve tried to change it with the one from entry point of my flight plan but it didnt work. i now that putting them in fix doesnt serve anything, ive also tried without entring them on legs. thanks

    Hi, the A/T behaves quite erratic if you change the ALT value during a climb in THR mode. Consider following situation: * Aircraft is flying with A/T, A/P on at 10000ft >> FMA says: SPD | HDG SEL | ALT * Now dial in 12000ft and press FLCH >> FMA says: THR | HDG SEL | FLCH SPD >> A/T does not spool up to full CLB limit, because the new alt can be reached within a certain amount of time (120sec? ... there is a certain logic behind FLCH which might be more complex.) * Let the airplane start its climb and then dial the alt further up, e.g. 20000ft - that's the point where A/T somehow gets out of control >> The commanded thr…

    Question: I'm currently running FSX "Gold' and PMDG 777 on an Asus VE258Q 16:9 monitor with a very good video card. I'm also able to obtain a good deal on an Asus PA248Q 16:10 (1920x1200) as well and I would like to ask...what are/will be the physical differences that I will see/notice upon viewing the PMDG 777 on this screen????? For those of you that take the time to answer it would mean a lot before I pass on the 16:10 monitor offer. I built my last rig specifically for the arrival of the T7 and I want maximum engagement and enjoyment for this add-on.     After working hard to curb this looming threat of Out Of Memory pings after each long haul flight, I started digging into DX10. First of all I found out, that some of my AI had been installed with FSX textures of up to 4096 resolution textures at around 5MB per piece. I fixed all of them so that they all would carry FS9 textures, of about 1MB per piece. I always fly with 100% AI, and I love it so... Next I completed my DX10 conversion with the new fixer utility to be found online for purchase.   18. Hi! I red that Air Austral ordered the famous Boeing 777-200 LR, because it´s possible to operate the Route "Myotte - Paris" with full pax and fuel for a flight time of about 9 Hours. They wrote that the -LR is able to take off from this short 2000m runway. Is this true? Is it really possible? But if yes: I think its necessary to standing on the brakes, give full thrust and releasing the brakes, right?

    I'm trying to make my own livery and I am almost finished, one of the last things it to change the registration shown underneath the PFD/ND.     I completed yesterday a "real time" long haul flight, from KLAX (FSDT) to EDDM (Aerosoft) ...11hrs and 45 min. ....(obviously didn't spend the entire time staring the PC...!).. The flight went wonderfully well, no OOMs, no FPS loss, no issues at all with the T7.......just had an Aivlasoft EFB display unit on the networked laptop crash 6 hours since take off which fortunately did not cause a complete crash of the system. I have a fresh fsx.cfg with the basic tweaks (BP=0; FFTF=0.1; AF=14; Highmemfix=1) The one thing, at least on my system that is really making the difference on this aircraft is using 1/2 Vsync and Unlimited FPS....no need to limit them as I have seen…

    Hi folks. Today I had my first failure during flight from TNCM to SBGL. Just after take off and gear up action, I have noticed gear error message. I couldn't rise landing gear, also gear door remained in open position after first attempt. I was moving up and down gears lever but no action. After few attempts I found proper emergency checklist and gone through. Of course I had to revert to my origin airport.     Morning, On a lot of approach and departure charts I see both a Transition Altitude and a Transition Level, each with a different altitude. eg.
