Delving into the depths of the ECL tonight...but it seems that some features are incomplete? Some QRH checklists have deferred items - these are items that are completed in lieu of the normal descent, approach and landing checklists. One example is the FLAP/SLAT CONTROL checklist (it was the failure I was doing, but it's also the example used in FCOM 2.) See page 768 of FCOM Vol.2. This is a good example of what deferred items should look like. Currently these don't appear to be modeled...Is this intentional, or a bug, or am I doing something wrong? The ECL seems so complete in most areas, it would be a great shame if this wasn't corrected - for those of us who love …

Hi all, Before I send a support ticket, I was wondering if anyone on here could help me. I've had the 777 since launch and today, I loaded up FSX and for some reason, I was asked to re-activate a few of my products (Flightbeam's KAID) I believe. However, when I loaded up my PMDG777, I had straneg issues. I had no wheels being displayed (I have highmem fix before anyone suggests), the displays were blank and none of the controls were responsive. I know it sounds like a pirate issue, but believe me, it's really not. I just wondered if anyone has any suggestions to help Thanks. Edit - Some images to assist.

Hi All, I've flown two legs from LOWW to KJFK on the T7. I've stripped almost all addons out of the product and am down to FlyTamps's LOWW, FSDT KJFK and REX Weather. I've even gone back to the base default FSX scenery (stripped out FS Altitude, Megascenery, etc.) and dropped the scenery complexity to low. All I'm rewarded with is out of memory on short final after a nice nine hour flight. Any quick fixes or other threads anyone can point to? Thanks in advance, Howard P.S. As a corollary, this is not so uncommon (for me) when running long distance legs with the T7. System: Windows 7 x64 i7 920 @2.67GHz, 4 cores, 8 processors 12GB RAM Gobs of disk …

I have always tended to slow my aircraft and extend flaps prematurely, mainly through anxiety at approaching with too high a speed. I understand that the flap extension schedule is dependent on approach speeds and aircraft weight. So my knowledge gap is in knowing WHEN to slow, and to what speed. Do you have any simple rules of thumb that I should follow?

can anyone flying or with working knowledge of the 777 answer why there is no elevator droop with the 777 or is it simply not modelled with the pmdg version? I can only assume its not modelled because surely if there is no pressure then the weight of them will cause them to droop sooner or later when the hyd pressure bleeds off.I mean there cant be some kind of locking mechanism can there ? what would be the purpose of that? for them to remain in position can only mean there is still pressure in the system holding them up but how can there be when the hyd system is depressurised? or is there just enough to maintain them even when its off? an…

Picked up T7 a couple of weeks ago and its my new plane of choice for sure! Had some problems but found answers here in the forums for all but one bug. While flying if I jump to another window – outside of FXS -- and back to flight sim I lose my controls. Using Saitek Pro yoke and combat rudder pedals. If I go to the drop down\ set up\controllers they are no longer listed there and I can’t find a way to get them back without ending the flight and starting over. I’ve downloaded fresh drivers and reinstalled. Checked all I can think of. I have the PMDG 747 have no trouble with that at all. The default aircraft are fine as well. Only the T7 has this anomaly. …

Hi When using the PMDG pushback it's not possible to change the pushback distance once it's selected up to it's correct position. Once I decided to change the distance and was unable to do so. In the NGX it's possible to edit the pushback distance after line selecting it. Is this a bug or how it's meant to be?

Hi all, I have spent quite a few hours with the PMDG 777 now and I am still delighted by this magnificient aircraft. So first of all, it's time to say thanks from my side for creating this impressive simulation. On of the aspects I really love about the latest PMDG aircraft is the EGPWS simulation. Back, in old Aerowinx PS1 days, I made myself familiar with loads of technical details on EGPWS and I still love this system. That's why I would like to discuss a few things I noticed. I think I found two bugs and a few things which do not "feel" correct. Read on for more, please. 1) First of all, let me start with an issue I found comparing the PMDG 777 EGPWS disp…

Hello, just a quick question, I run the 777 with the "previous flight" panel state. I have progressive maintenance failures on. Noticed that tyre pressure seems to be a random value from one flight to the next. I was interested to see one of my tyres at 199 on dep. Next flight, with same payload, it shows a higher value? Anybody else noticed this? Sent from my Mobile thing

Hi there, I just encountered my first failure with the T7. I didn't know I was to heavy on the breaks during taxi, but shortly after takeoff I got a "tire tem/or pressure" message, sorry I don't remember exactly what the message was - way too exciting...................... I followed the abnormal checklist and voila, all was good for the remainder of the flight! I've had the T7 since day one and I still can't believe what a piece of art she is!!! Cheers, Pete

Hello everyone, A few days ago I buyed my PMDG777-200LR / F and I start to have some problems. 1. I was on approach on KAUS and after I inserted ILS freq and Crs I was established LOC and G/S but after a moment I had recieved an ALERT that AP is discconected and missed G/S. I tryed to press again AP button and nothing....It happened again the next day on LROP Approach. The 777 established LOC and G/S but the CRS for LOC was wrong. Enyway after few seconds the same alarm began to *scream* that AutoPilot is discconected and when I wanted to press again the button after one second disconnected it self. 2. In every flight that I made with PMDG777 I had the same p…
