For several years I have had to suffer constant disconnects from VATSIM (both with Squawkbox4 and FSInn) during flights. These have apparently been caused by the situation saving processes of the combined PMDG and FSUIPC software. I have now tried FSUIPC4 without Autosave at all, and managed a flight (ESSA-EGLL) without any disconnects. Is there anything that can be done to the forthcoming PMDG 777 SP1 that will reduce the saving workloads and allow me to again specify a FSUIPC4 save at regular intervals?

Hello, When i started to use the T7 i didn't get any problems for weeks. Now I get more and more problems to start the engines. I follow the engine start procedure like in the tutorial, but often, the oil temperature stucks around the outside air temperature, while the engine thrust remains around 21.4%. Then I can move the Thrust Levers full forward, but the engine doesn't react. I can load a new panel state, restart FSX but i always get the problem. Sometime one engine is affected, sometime both are. I can't fix the problem and the use of the 777 is more luck as plan these days... Vincent Schmoeckel

Hi there guys, I have this ery perculiar problem, about 2 weeks ago i downloaded a shader program, it didnt wanted to work and everytime i open FSX i get the FSX opening logo screen and then nothing it goes away. To solve the problem i uninstalled the shader program because that seemed to be the problem, but i still had issues i then googled for a solution, that was to delete my temp folder. After that everytime when i click on my PMDG Ops Center it starts runs something and then a screen pops up that it has encountered a problem and is shutting down. Now i have both 777 and NGX as purchased programs NOT pirated!!! I can however fly the 777 and NGX within …

Anyone experiencing this, 777 getting smooth performance on ground and airborne but get the freeze up after every lift off for about 5 seconds then it comes back fine, if there a setting I missed.??

This weekend I had a feeling something was wrong when I turned MCP knobs or changed MFD scale. I zoomed in a bit and noticed that, when I turned the button clockwise, the animation of the ribbed surface appeared to turn counter-clockwise. Am I going crazy? Anybody else noticed this effect? The indicator-notch on the button moved in the right direction; it was just the ribbed surface that consistently went in the wrong direction. Bert Laverman

I have recently bought PMDG 777 and updated my simulator to FSX. I have few problems if you can help. I got your email from AVSIM forum. My issues are I have activated product but still It ask again to activate it I don't have active Operation centre. I don't have all the documents except Tutorial and Introduction Once I load I can't see the Cockpit except a bit of EFIS and a bit of PFD&ND on captain and FO side.

While the operation of engine anti-ice in the T7 seems rather straightforward and intuitive to me, the T7's wing anti-ice (in 'AUTO' mode) kinda puzzles me: If WAI activates, it operates only for about one or two seconds just to switch off after that short period automatically. Isn't a system like that supposed to work during longer periods of time in order to affect any structural icing? And just in case someone like ... myself will read my post (you know what I mean: the 'RTFM' type of guy ... ): I checked the documentation but didn't really find the decisive hint (yes, all the documentation - the pdf search function was my best friend ... but didn't quite deli…

Hi! I just purchased the T7 and it's beautiful! I was doing the first flihgt following the tutorial that came along with it. Just after takeoff, I looked outside to admire the beauty, When I went back inside the cockpit, the heading and PFD was spinning like crazy! Is this supposed to happen?

Following the instructions received with the program and the video from frooglesim (PMDG 777 - FULLY LOADED, KJFK to KDEN Part 1) to load winds into the fmc (legs / rte data) The files are in the correct directories and with the same name as instructed but contrary to the result in the video my FMC answers with INVALID ENTRY Someone any idea what goes wrong ?

Hello, I have all the necessary keystrokes in place for the 737ngx i.e. shift4 for the radios,shift6 for the overhead panel but I don't seem able to duplicate these into the 777 . Hi All, I understood that the Dry Weight of the 777-200LR is around 147 tons, yet obviously the PMDG one weighs in at around 156 tons. Just wonder what this difference is? Thanks

No matter where I'm landing, I can't seem to get autoland to work. I got autoland working in my other planes no problem. Is the real T7 really this picky when it comes to autoland? I was flying a perfect approach in calm weather. Also even though I was locked in approach and right on the glideslope, it kept saying "glideslope, glideslope" over and over repeatedly for about 5 minutes. Anyone else see this? Jim
