PMDG 777

Hey everyone noticed that my dome light is not working right see picture the light will come on and the texture shows the light as on, however the light does not illuminate the flight deck im running fsx in dx10 i have tried running the fixer again and im using the current version ( steves dx10 fixer ) also ive tried deleting my shader files any other ideas Thanks JHo

Hello, I've recently begun painting a custom livery for myself, and i was wondering if there is a way to flip whatever i did on the left side of the aircraft (the "correct" side of the paintkit) to the top reversed side, Do i have to move everything individually to the other side or can i flip the left side as a whole and just put it over the right side. & also, I have added some very intricate details to my paint, so how can I convert it to be the highest quality possible? The ones I've converted are only 2048x2048 The programs which I use are Photoshop CS5 & DXTBMP (I'm only a novice painter as you can see, so please dont go into detail or else i'll get lost :…

Hi Guys. See picture. Anyone know a fix for it? Happens whenever visibility is bad, clears again when visibility is good. As you can see the yoke, evac panel, standby instrument panel, parts of the overhead panel and several other buttons and switches have gone weird. Can someone please tell me why the 4th spoiler from the out(pic attached) dosent deflect fully upon landing. Infact i have noticed this on the real plane as well. Is it cuz they are able to attain maximum drag by such an arrangement?

First off, congrats to PMDG for a great product. I have only done two complete flights to far. MIA-LAX and LAX-AKL but both have been great. Love the airplane and once again PMDG has made the best addon I have ever seen. I do have some questions though. I was happy to not have any issues on a 13 hour real time flight on LAX-AKL. FPS was good for my system so far too. That being said I feel like my PC got a bit warmer than usual which is expected. If I wanted to shut down for an hour and save the flight all I have to do is go to the FSX save flight and the 777 will automatically save my panel state under the same name? I can't seem to climb with the 777 with VNAV pushed and on, I'm sure I have missed something but just can't find it please help. I have a CRZ alt set (360) it's purple there are altitudes set on my legs page. VNAV is green on the CDU and AP is green as well. I climb if I push the VS button but it's a slow climb because the aircraft will slowly low down. It wont increase speed as I climb. I think it is related to the VNAV issue though. I don't have the 737 but I do have the MD-11 so I can't really figure out what I'm missing. Please help stranded at 20,000'. Ryan Gann

I have noticed a strange behaviour of fsx in my task manager and I wanted to know if a experienced fsx user can help me. I have an Intel core i5-2410m cpu. it has two physical cores and HT on. It seems like fsx is only actively using cores 0 and 2. Im havng a really bad performance right now. In my fsx.cfg I have "affinitymask=4". Also I noticed that fsx is using only about 2.2 GB of VAS. But the preformance is very poor. My system config is: Intel core i5-2410M cpu AMD radeon 6630M 4GB Ram DDR3 Im getting less than 10 fps right now. Im very frustrated because I cant enjoy my 777. Just a quickie here. I'm trying to put a new tail number in the 777 (PMDG_777_VC_NNumber...), but can't seem to figure out what it needs. I retype the number on the templace (select the text layer and change it), then make the Background layer above it visible, and then save it as a .dds file. However, while I get the background showing up just as it does in the default airplane, there are no numbers there. Can someone who has used the paint kit clue me in please? Thanks much! Glenn

Hi, After a clean installation of PMDG 777X I tried to activate it but I got this message: 777X Activation ERROR: Activation library handle creation failed (just to mention that before I format my pc the plane was working fine with the same windows, WIN7 - Ultimate x64, since September) From PMDG, indicated the steps below which had not result: 1. The activation key is active. 2. Reinstall, (with or without "right-click, Run as administrator"). 3. administrative rights to the program files which FSX is installed. 4. Hi all, I've got a quick question. I've had no problem with FSInn and talking to controllers in the Airbus X 320 and the PMDG 737, but I can't seem to get controllers to hear me in the T7. I've got the mic switch on to VHF L and I'm monitoring VHF L, and FSInn recognizes that I am changing the frequencies, and it even shows I'm transmitting, but still the controllers can't hear me on their side. Gents, I'm having an issue with my displays in the VC. If I turn off High Quality VC in the FSX options, the panel goes grey and I have to switch views to get it to look right. At that point, the ND and all displays look frozen. However, if I click them and expand them, they are working. Same thing is happening for the AP knobs (speed and altitude selection, etc.). The numbers never change on the AP bar when I turn the knobs. However, If I turn High Quality VC on, I get my ND and speed display back, but everything else is still frozen. Hello All, I made an Airbus Calculator many months ago, based on EU OPS and fuel burn rates. So what I did was make an updated version based on the Boeing 777 - it works pretty well and I've tested it 4 times now and I always land with the correct amount recommended by airline SOPS. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Purely enter and change the following. Under Minutes - APU fuel is generally 12-15 minutes Taxi in Europe i.e EGLL is 20 minutes, but places like VRMM it's 7-12 minutes. Trip is your overall flight, you don't need wind calculations for this but your en-route time is based upon how long it takes you including any tail/headwind.…

Hello, I just got PMDG 777LRFX and i installed it, activated.But when i open a flight with 777 FSX keeps crashing after loads the flight.Also PMDG operations center keeps crashing after update when i want to open it. I want to try unistalling & reinstalling but how can i deactivate my serial? I can't access to FMC and PMDG Op Center. Please help me, sorry for my bad English. Have nice flights!

I just purchased the aircraft and downloaded a United livery. When I ran the aircraft for the first time I ran the United one. The activation window that is described in the PMDG 777 Introduction PDF didn't come up. Is there any way I can get it to come up so I can fly the aircraft? Thanks, Patrick

Ok, I've had the 777 for about a month now, after reading the docs, and perusing the forums,I decided to get out and take her for a few test flights. I've got the automated flight down and have been able to do several fully automated CAT 3 landings, and a few where I've taken over from the autopilot after intercepting the glide slope. So no issues there, the problem I am having is when i am manually flying. What I am doing is descending with LNAV/VNAV PTH, with the auto throttle engaged. After intercepting the localizer, I am doing about 180knots flaps 5, once the glide slope comes alive, I select speed intervene and reduce the MCP speed to 160 knots, set the altitud…
