PMDG 777

Dear All: Happy new year! I encounter some display problem every time I load up my PMDG 777 The picture below show the problem, only skeleton were show every time I load 777. And After several minute, the screen went black, but I still can hear the sound different when I change my view from virtual cockpit to outside view, so it look like it still working but not display anything. Dose anyone here encounter same problem and have resolutions? Thanks!

As we all saw on the news, KJFK cancelled 2000+ flights the past week. My cousin is among one of them. So - I decided to do a flight from CYVR to KJFK with the same nasty extreme turbulent weather. Here is a screenshot dedicated to those that are still stuck in New York City.

I'm on my 2nd leg, about to descend and I go to the approach ref page to select my flaps and vref, but I notice the info on the left is for the last airport I landed at. No matter what I do in the Dep Arr section of the fmc, the last airport is stuck in the approach ref page. How can I fix this?

Since 777 was installed I have a problem. I did a flight from LOWW to EGSS, short flight when parked at destination I left the panel set as I want. Later when I start again FSX screens on 777 appears dark and then FSX crashes. I have tried to start again FSX and load again the same plane but again FSX crashes. I have to delete the default 777 flight and load the FSX default flight with Ultra light plane, then choose my 777 plane and just work again. This is very annoying because I would like to save the panel and later start the flight back, but I can´t, please help. Best regards for everyone with this new year 2014

So set the scene, just arrived at EGNT from CYVR with ATIS saying 220 @ 21knts.... landed fine, all hydraulic panel shut down, etc checklist complete, time for a coffee. So walk around the aircraft to see GSX @ work too notice the rudder moving on its own accord with the wind, how realistic is that! I had a look at the wind sock and the rudder and windsock were moving together.... I made sure it was nothing to do with me or my yoke. Its little features (I am hoping it is and not a bug) that makes the 777 so brilliantly realistic! Thank you very much PMDG. Little things like this gets me going and I'm a real pilot. Good morning , I write asking for your help , do not know if anyone can help me with a fault that occurs in my fsx and when flight with 777 PMDG to leave momentarily simulator to see information in any web browser, or when changing task and return to the simulator no longer recognizes the jostick , if the computer still recognizes fsx but it does not, I tried installing the most updated driver and sometimes jostick it again but do recognize the same procedure of task switching and return to fsx , it fails to recognize , and on several occasions has blocked me simulator that creates a grave error. I'm flying a North Atlantic track and need to keep a certain altitude. How do I disable the step climb guidance bugging me in the fmc and on the nd? I read there is a crash if you change rvsm step climb, so what do you do? Thanks

Hi guys, I have a Problem with my favorite add-on for the FSX. I have a new Macbook Pro with quad core i7 2,4 ghz, turboboost up to 3,2 ghz and a Nvidia Geforce GT 705M inside. I installed Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit via bootcamp, did all the updates and installed FSX with Acceleration pack, thereafter the PMDG 737 NGX and the PMDG 777. I can arm the auto throttles on the 737NG, push them up and engage TOGA, no problems. I can not do this on the 777. Auto throttles must stay off until I am on the run way, Then I have to push TOGA from idle, no fun. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance! Doug

Does anyone have any clue to this problem? FMC was programmed for cruise at FL380. A few minutes after reaching top of climb, the 777 climbed to FL400, uncommanded. Is this a bug? If so, is there a fix? Thanks, ERA

Every time I start up FSX and select the 777, it loads it into the little window on the bottom to view it from different angles. When I press 'Start Flight', it starts the load bar, but the black screen behind the bar does not appear, and when it finishes loading all it shows is my desktop, just like on the attachment (but I can hear the sound). It either does this or crashes, please help me I really want to fly my new plane but this keeps happening As you can see in the picture, the bar is loading but there is no black screen behind it, it just shows my background. And when it's loaded it keeps showing the background but plays the sound...

Hello everybody, If tries the first time wind data upload with the T7 FMC. I create the FP with PFPX Export as .rte and .pln. Start AS2012, load the .pln and copy the aloft wind data as decriebed. Create the .wx file with Notepad and stored it on the dicriebed place. Load the route into FMC everything fine. Than go to legs page --> Route data --> LSK 6 --> request. Than "Invalid entry" comes up as message. Does Anybody has an idea what can be wrong? Thank you Regards Andreas Hövel

My auto throttles work great with the 737NG, I could push them up and engage the auto throttles, no problems. I can not do this with the 777. Auto throttles must stay off until I am on the run way, then I have to hit TOGA from idle. No fun. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks Doug

Hi I havent flewn the 777 in a while since I have been occupied with the 737:-) However, a couple of nights ago I tried the 777 and as soon as I started my engines the plane started moving at a steady pace, about 5-10 kts... If i pushed my brakes (Saitek pedals) the red "brake" text shoved up at the bottom of the screen but the plane didnt slow down... The rudder worked just fine so its just the brakes that doesnt work. Any suggestions what might be wrong?

Hi I have tried to do the KATL- RJAA. DL295 flight a couple of times and I'm getting a strange fuel system readout. I load 120,000 Kg. fuel and set everything else up, I think, correctly. Before push and start, the FMC/PROG page shows about 26.5 EFOB at RJAA. After push and start, and during the taxi out, I get an "Insufficient fuel" message on the FMC, and a "Fuel Disagree". When I check the fuel quantity in the FMC/ PERF page, it has gone down to about 77.000 Kg. for some reason. The fuel quantity on the Menu/FS Action/FUEL page is still showing 119.5 Kg. or so, but the FMC/PERF page shows that 77.0. It is easily correctable by re-entering t…

There is an error in the approach logic when flying a VNAV approach. Normal procedure is to set the MCP missed approach altitude when aircraft altitude is minimum 300 feet below missed approach altitude and the FMC has transitioned to "on approach" mode. I was trying to depart OMDB -> VHHH with the following load, (pic below) (all in lbs). That's ramp, so GW was about 460.0 at T/O. The acft climbs upto 4000ft with lots of power, but loses power after it. I have tried it with ASN on network , on local, FS Real WX Lite and even default FSX weather. I have tried almost 10 times without much climbing thru more than 9000ft. Acft doesn't accelerate beyond 220kts and attains a nose down attitude. I have had this problem previously with NGX, but for the love of God can't figure out what I did to fix it. I tried setting throttles through FSUIPC, that's my default, but I also tried removing it to add it to default FSX Controls. …
