PMDG 777

Hello Everytime I fly the T7 a BEX error occurs usually related to either MSVCR60.dll or MSVCR80.dll. Usually takes place on the ground prior to departure or shortly after landing. To clarify: Current Visual C++ 2005, 2008 & 2010 already installed. MicrosoftFixit50496 (Heap limitation) installed DEP turned off permanently Error doesn't appear using any other aircraft including the 737NGX. Any advice much appreciated. Regards

The engine sounds post 55% are not accurate at all. I posted a similar topic just a few days prior to the launch when the beta testing videos were available. I thought the start up sounds and idle to 55% are awesome but it's gone adrift post 55%. I was slated by some of the "defenders of the PMDG realm" which was understandable and encouraged to rethink my position after being in possession of the software. Well, after many weeks of ownership and testing it has to be said that the YouTube video sounds are just the same as on the sim, not accurate at all. First off I would like to say how much I love the visual model of the 777. Secondly I would like to explain my problems and/or solutions to what I have encountered with everything else. I have flown the 777 quite a few times and these have all been random flights that I have found on FlightAware and thought they would be okay to try. I was just approaching Rio De Janeiro and something strange occurred. As I was levelling of at 3600 for an ILS approach to runway 10 I started to gain INSANE amounts of speed.....340, 350, 360 etc etc etc. Then next thing I am gaining altitude like she wants to land on the moon. Everything was as required. Done this before! Any thoughts?

I had an SSD failure (catastrophic) and I understand that I have 2 activations. Obviously because of this I was unable to uninstall or deactivate therefore I have lost an activation. Will this cause any problems in future if anything similar happens? Thanks

Every time after landing when I am taxiing in when I switch the autobrakes from disarm to off the brakes come on and the plane comes to a stop. I just tap the brake pedals and they turn off and I can continue taxiing normally. I have them set to 2 for landing. They activate normally when I land and disengage normally when I apply the brakes as described in the Introduction document during roll out. The switch is NOT going past off to RTO. I am using Saitek Cessna rudder pedals assigned through FSX controller assignments. I have never doubted a PMDG airplane before and I don't doubt that this is an awesome plane to have in the FSX hanger. However, my system is not the newest. It is not bad at all but with some of the things I have been reading I am just wondering what some of you guys think. Currently I run the NGX, 747X and MD-11 well. I rarely have crashes, and I attribute the majority of them to going in and out of the menu and other add ons like FS2CREW. I fly Long Haul plenty with the 744 and MD-11 and might have a "failed" flight one out of 20 flights. I am very happy with my performance with the NGX too. Hello there, I installed PMDG 777, I'm very happy and curious about the PMDG 777. So I click on 777 Cold and Dark, followed the procedures and then I need to contact the ground for push-back. But I click on for example Amsterdam [121.500] or something and then no happened... And before the Cold and Dark the ATC work, so what do I wrong? Please help me... Thanks

Hey there, When I taking off, then normally you used to fold the gears. But when I push the ''G'' on the keyboard nothing happens. And in my virtual cockpit I see the gear lever is going up and down but the wheels not... What can I do? Thanks

There is a click spot, next to the terrain button on the EFIS. This click spot brings up a 2D panel of the MCP and EFIS and works perfect on a single monitor, however on a triple monitor the panel does not come up, instead you get the 'ring of death' (a black and white active circle icon) and a frame rate of 1 or 2. Apparently it is a problem with the 2D panel not stretching to size. I found out by accidentally pressing it whilst in the middle of a long flight. Hopefully PMDG will fix this in the next release.

Hello. I've been flying the 777 for a while now and I have been thoroughly enjoying it. However, on occasion, while departing an airport or while on approach, the plane will make a dramatic turn and start making circles. This issue happens while near waypoints as well as in between waypoints. The turns are so dramatic that I get a "bank angle" warning from the plane. Another issue that may be related to this is that the plane tends to travel to the left of the heading I select in the MCP. I only notice this happening during flights that the plane circles on. I haven't experienced these issues in any other PMDG product in the past. Does anyone know what's going on here…

Hello, Since I am a 7am flight, it was impossible for me to click the buttons in the virtual cockpit. I can only click if I change view (eg overhead). I try to uninstall the plane and reinstall the same problem. Thank you for your help.

First, this is one very nice package; she is a graceful girl. So, I strapped on the 777 and tried some very short hops for this aircraft. At first, I didn't bother with the tutorial manual, just a "Hmm, let's see how this works" approach. I've had her since the date of release and just now flew her. An observation/opinion; I think I like the a/p systems in the NGX better. So, three repetitve flights from KCVG to KATL. Noticed that the "fast fwd" only works from the options page, the chrono button doesn't work. Not a big deal No glidescope capture. No Cat II or Cat III operations. So, whipped out the tutorial. Flew it exactly as shown twice. N…

Good evening everybody! I was enroute from KIAD to EDDF for the VATSIM Frankfurt Overload event last evening and it was amazing to see how does the 777 works within all this traffic around! And of course it was recommanded to enter all the data I need for the approach for frankfurt and it looks amazing on the ND! Just wanted to make sure the list in known issues of "Numerous panelstate bugs" means it will fix the default panel state not loading correctly? I need to wait for the initial loading, then go into the fmc and load my default panel state again, otherwise not all options are enabled like radio active and tcas settings, etc.
