Lufthansa Cargo just received its first 777 freighter. It will fly its first commercial mission on 19 November to JFK. Although it is not the long-range version, at least our Lufthansa Cargo livery will be flying soon. See mor details on the LH Cargo homepage: http://lufthansa-cargo.com/de_de/mainnav/unternehmen/boeing-777/ Happy landings! Sigmar Stadlmeier (LOWL / LNZ)

Hej Captains, This afternoon after flying from EGLL to SPIM taking me just over 12 hours and 30 minutes I heard a very odd noise on landing. After taxing off the runway and coming to a stand still expecting something to pop up on the display I looked at 'failed items' and there it was, /Nose Tire Balance' - no biggie and very well simulated. I have been mainly flying British Airways (G-ZZZC) for the last few months and with 182 hours and 58 minutes on that one aircraft I guess I will be seeing some more service based failures in the future... I can't wait! ) Very well done PMDG Fly Safe Kimberly Richmond-Jones

During the cockpit prep whilst panning around (spacebar and mouse) to set up the a/craft this panning function suddenly stops working which means the end of my flight. Not sure whether I am doing something wrong. Danie Steffens

Hi there, I am running the T7 (got it few weeks ago) and since then I am struggling to make the controls behave. I have the FSUIPC and many other airplanes installed including PMDG NGX and no one has that issue like the T7 has. I have all my axes configured via FSUIPC and it works perfectly on all airplanes that includes the NGX (i am not ruining on FSUIPC profiles, one generic profile for all), all running without an issue. on the T7 it is going crazy, throttles are not stable, so are the rudders, etc. I start moving throttles , it starts moving them in the T7 as well, then it goes crazy, the throttles start bouncing back and forth either together or each one of th…

I've noticed that when I used the ground operations function, the virtual cabin crew open doors 2R, 4L, and 4R, even though there are no ground services at those positions. Is there any way to edit what doors are opened and closed by the ground ops function? It looks kind of silly to have those doors open with nothing there, plus my virtual flight attendants might fall out. I have GSX, so I'd prefer to open the doors as needed to complete catering. Helloo, First of all, the 777 sound set is really great, but I have a question, is there an way to put to volume from the touchdown sounds up? And the thunk thunk thunk? Because I think it is a little bit louder in real life. Is at an specific volume level option in FSX, like cockpit or environment? Or can I change it at via an other way except putting my speakers to max. ^_^

Hi all, lately I have been noticing that my FPS with the T7 drops once I begin the Descent phase of my flight, it espescially noticable if I use the Electronoc Checklist onboard. My normal FPS, even during take-off is about 12 FPS in the cockpit, this I find totally acceptable, but during landing and descent y FPS in the cockpit is 3-4, still bearable for this aircraft but its not easy to do a manual landing under shuch laggy conditions. I find it particularly odd that after securing the aircraft and shutting down the engines my FPS rating jumps back up to 12. I have a windows 7, 64-bit system with a first generation i7 quad-core processor and four gigs of ram. My system…

I have too many CTDs after a long flight when arriving to an airport... I want to test to see ifs not RAAS thats giving me grief. How can I disable RAAS completely from the 777? I want to fly without RAAS for a while to make sure its not RAAS that is causing these CTDs. Any ideas?

If you guys remember AXE they use mirror cockpit to save FPS. If pmdg can add this option into the FMC like how you can disable the FO or CAPTAIN display it would be a great fps saver without losing displays it will be awesome!

Hi all, Just bought the T7, wonderful aircraft, however I am having troubles flying a route from WSSS-VHHH in regards to the STAR. I seems there are at least 10 or so STARs that are not in the database. Also, after further investigation it seemed they way points themselves that make up the STAR do not even exist in any of the files in the NAVDATA folder. Indeed, I do understand that these changes over time and sometimes require the purchase new navdata cycles but the STARs exist on charts since 2004 (found free ones online). In addition, they also appear on Aivlasoft's EFB program, and the 777 addon is still fairly decent (hence its navdata will be too). So my question i…

Just downloaded and installed pmdg777. When selecting this aircraft in fsx it opens in the virtual cockpit view. I then select the cockpit view but it then opens in what looks like the virtual cockpit but facing down onto the runway. Any ideas?

Hi all, I am asking this for a friend: Has anyone manage to make or get hold of this airline's livery for the 777? My friend recalls seeing someone flying it, and did a thorough search on the internet trying to find it. But as of yet, he had no luck. I did a search also, also with no positive returns. So I ask here to see whether anyone knows where we could get one if at all it exists. Cheers,

Just started with the 777 but the autopilot will not stay connected. It will briefly then disconnect. I do not touch the yoke or pedals but it still disconnects. I have been flying both the NGx 737, 747 and many others without any problems so I do not think it is my controls. Calibrations look good and again, works on all other planes. I do use EZdok but problem still there when I disconnect it.

As the title says I am confused about Passenger capacity with my 777 Since getting PFPX (thanks to Kyle Rodgers videos about it which made me want it!!) I am starting to get into more detail on things! Gotta love this hobby! If we take the Emirates 777-200 as the example here I have set it up a profile in PFPX as per the data from Matt Davies in this you tube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6cFl5uT-uo from 3mins 53 seconds where Matt lets us copy his settings. It says 301 for PAX capacity which I entered in my profile for PFPX for the Emirates, So once the I get the plan generated in PFPX I eagerly I go to set up my Emirate 777-200 in FSX to enter…

There is a fault in the logic of the Fuel Pump behavior in the scenario of Right Hand engine shut down while attempting to re-balance the fuel. Here is the scenario: Right Engine suffers a failure, engine is shutdown in accordance with the checklist. APU is also started in accordance with the checklist. High Fuel Flow from the Left Hand Engine comparative to the zero fuel flow from the now failed right engine leads to a FUEL IMBALANCE scenario with the Left-Hand Tank being of lower quantity. FUEL IMBALANCE checklist is carried out, which involves turning on either CROSSFEED VALVE and turning off the LEFT FWD and AFT Fuel Pumps switches. 30 minutes late…

What would happen to the controls of a real 777 if, all electric, hydraulic, pneumatic circuits were off, the engines and APU were also off, and the RAT had not been deployed? Would it still respondo to control column and rudder input?
