PMDG 777

Just wondering what happened to the service pack or service update that was going to happen, still under development? Or have I missed something? I am not asking for release dates, just wanted to know whether I've missed anything important or it's still going. Thanks

Hey all~ I have really been enjoying the big birds since the T7 was released. I would pick of a 737ngx flight every now and again but with the release of the T7 + PFPX, I seem to be flying the big tin equal to if not more than my typical GA flight. I guess I am into the planning aspect more so now than ever and it's nice to have a plan come together. Question: I am in the market to accentuate my PFC hardware for a CDU. What do you guys suggest? My first thought is to get an app either for my KF or iPAD or go for a standalone CDU piece of hardware. The issue I am running up against at the moment is finding something that will work both the NGX and the T7. …

Hi! First of all I have to say the 777 is awesome! I spent all night learning the beast Unfortunately i did always have one problem: I chose an ILS approach on the APP Page of my FMC but when I got closer to my destination I got this FMC Message: rw/ils freq error Self explanatory that the ILS doesn't work then! What am I doing wrong? (Thanks for your help in advance! )

Hi, I've come up with this few times. I don't know if this is really a bug or a feature but it's rather annoying. So here's how it goes (as an example, I use 105tn of fuel): I usually use the ground operations mode and I'll input my planned fuel there so the ground ops refuels my plane while I'm doing my preparations. However, for perf calculations I'll type the fuel manually on the PERF INIT page so it shows like 105.0tn MANUAL while the plane is still refueling. Ok, so far we are still going by the book. Now, if you are taking a huge amount of fuel, it might take for an hour to refuel. I usually use a fast 35min ground ops turn time, as that is more than enough …

Hi All, I have an intermittent bug with my T7 and my Saitek X52---sometimes (about 6 or7 out of 10) my Saitek X52 will freeze/quit when I start to push back from the gate/check spot view when I begin a flight. This is really depressing as sometimes I have spent as much as an hour with the pre-flight work up to the push time. What happens is that the X52 freezes and when I go to the controls page under options I find that the X52 has disappeared and there is only "mouse yoke" left to choose.---sometimes this does not happen--I have flow some flights without looking outside just because I do not want to lose the pre-flight work---anybody else experience this issue or ha…

As I read in older topics, the release date of the boxed version is unknown. But as I am not willing to buy the download version, although I know about the hardcopy way, I would really appreciate to have further information about the boxed one. Is there any chance to get it before christmas via aerosoft or whatever? Till now, aerosoft has not announced anything of Pmdgs 777. Thanks, Alex

Hello everybody, i recently reinstalled my two FSX machines (Desktop and Laptop ) without deactivating the 777 via the FMS on the old installations ( just learned here i had to do this...) Today after take off the vibration/rattle normally experienced when front wheel runs over centreline continued after take off and the only way to get rid of it was to reload the aircraft with subsequent FMC reprogramming, etc. I know this may not be T7 related and could happen with other aircraft, but if anyone knows why this happens and an easy solution, I would very much appreciate it. I searched for this but found no answer: I have 5 liveries for the 777. On the Continental and Delta livery, I can't remove the chucks and air compressor. I know how, I de-select them in the FMC under GROUND CONNECTIONS. The FMC acknowledges they are off, but the external view shows them there. So I take off dragging the compressor and chucks with me. On the PMDG and AA livery, they indeed get removed and not shown. Why does this work on the AA and PMDG livery and not the Delta or Continental livery?? Is this a bug? or an I doing something wrong?

Halfway through the tutorial flight I ran out of time and saved it. I came back to it the next day and it loaded up and everything was fine. Next day I started a completely new flight and again, about halfway through, I saved it and it appeared to do so ok. However, when I came to reload that saved flight a green band message came up saying "Destination airport not found in rte file. Import aborted." I had a look at the rte file for that flight and a destination airport and runway were in the file, in exactly the same format as in every other rte file. I shut down FSX re-started it and tried again to load that flight I had created but got exactly the same response…

How do I takeoff without the aircraft limiting the thrust? I want to be able to takeoff and climb with 100% thrust. The FMC always derates the thrust. How can I override?

Hello, I m using my B777 with autocruise and maximum timecompression of x8. However, doing this and flying at x8, radard contact often does not recognize that I reached a waypoint and already heading to the next one. In consequence, it is telling me to turn 180 degrees to get back to this waypoint. The only way to solve that is to ask for a "direct to" the next waypoint to get rid of these messages. As this is quite annoying, I would like to ask whether there are other users that have the same issues and maybe found a workaround? Since Pro ATC X is also on the market, does someone have experience whether this issue exists with that software as well or is it worth tr…

Since purchase been having problems with skeleton aircraft (no skin) when changing views, low FPS and brief freezes, thought I had my FSX tweaked properly, however in trying to find solution for issues I ran across this video on youtube. "How to" - FSX Episode #5. FSX Tweaking Tutorial 2013, link below I did use the nvidia inspector tweaking in the video as well.. 100% improvement , no skeleton aircraft when changing views, in addition it fixed my missing water waves...may want to check out... this seemed to have fixed my issues,, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAjqomj6qz8

Hello. There is some airports where TERRAIN & PULL UP warning sounds without due reason. 1. How can I switch off it from cockpit? 2. How can I extinguish CAUTION button on panel? I mean a case when sometime I press the button it don't extinguish... Is it a bug?

Hello. I just bought the PMDG 777, it`s a fantastic plane to watch hehe. Now over to the problem, when I try to use the plane with BA livery (or any other livery aswell) it forces the FSX to crash. The livery`s are innstaled from PMDG Operation Center, it also says I have the latest version of the plane. Is this a known problem? Cause when I fly it with the standard pmdg livery it work just fine. But when I change to BA livery (or any other) it crashes, well it works until I passes 2000ft and then it all stops. The strange part is I only get Fatal Error, there are NO other messages. I have tried to search on google and here but cant find a post with this problem. …

I never heard this 2 callouts on landing, and they are selected on FMC. all other callouts work well. Anyone realized this ?

Hey! The situation is: I have prepared pmdg777-200 to flight. Flight directors are on, fmc is set up(SID entered), and I push TO/GA and start rolling. For example after take off I recieve a message from ATC to reduce speed to 200 knots. I do it using VS wheel to reset TO/GA mode (Is it right?) After that I can set the target speed using speed bug. Problem is: I can't extinguish the CAUTION button on panel after that. I push it but it have no effet. And the CAUTION message is on during all flight. What is it? Is it bug or the same things in real plane? Or I do somethong wrong? Or may be there is the another way to extinguish CAUTION message?

Hi all, Yesterday I had randomly scanned the panels flicking switches so that I would have to use the checklists correctly at start (please PMDG can we have a random switch start up/failure mode ?) and noticed i had managed to get the undercarriage doors down while still at the gate. Does anyone know the sequence of events that could create this in real aircraft, if any ? I originally thought it was to do with the hydraulics but i havent managed to re create it yet.
