Hello Folks, "PMDG's Lufthansa Cargo T7F" is now on duty since a week. It's given name is "Good Day, USA" and meanwhile it has been on tour between FRA, JFK, ATL and ORD. It was delivered to LH home base in FRA already 2013-11-09. In the meantime Lufthansa made its usual customizations and so D-ALFA actually started service 2013-11-19. Hi all, as said i have some performance problems with the PMDG t7 and also the 737ngx. I use FSX and i tried to tweak the fsx.cfg it helped, but i dont really get the performance out of my computer, as you can exepct for my computer. Hi, I read somewhere in one of the manuals that one can configure the triple seven for taxing using the steering tiller instead of the rudder. I don't remember which manual and I can't find it. But I remember reading about it. Does anyone know? It seems to me it was in the Introduction manual and I would like to know what page it was discussed. Ken.

On the climb out from EGLL I noticed the PFD and ND go wild, it's like the aircraft is tumbling. Th standby attitude indicator reads normal. I think pressing VNAV might trigger this, I will go on FSX later to confirm this. I'm running above the minimum requirements with Win 7 64bit. Ta

What is the difference between OPT and RECMD flight levels ? In my mind optimum and recommended level should be same, but in fact difference is usually quite big - at least around 3000 ft

Oops, my bad, should read 'On another positive note ...' - can't edit my topic title, I'm afraid! ( ) Is this true or is it just an Iljushin: I did a plethora of flights (two plethoras, to be precise ...) in the T7 without noticing any map integrity or ILS/autoland issues. As soon as I performed a flight in #3 of my most favoured planes of all times (MD-11) the FSX registry fix issue was back immediately . So my conclusion is the FSX registry entry was corrupted during my T7 flights already - but the T7 wasn't affected by that. Can anyone confirm that the registry repair stuff isn't an issue anymore with flights in the T7?!?

Been flying the 777 for a little while, and I like to start C&D, so I set it to load that way. Finally decided to fly the tutorial, and of course, it doesn't want to start in the C&D state. So I went to reset the start-up to the default and it isn't in the list of choices anymore. I have the CLDDRK, SHORT, LONG, and 2 other start-ups using another livery. No DEFAULT. Is there some way I can recover the default load state?

Delving into the depths of the ECL tonight...but it seems that some features are incomplete? Some QRH checklists have deferred items - these are items that are completed in lieu of the normal descent, approach and landing checklists. One example is the FLAP/SLAT CONTROL checklist (it was the failure I was doing, but it's also the example used in FCOM 2.) See page 768 of FCOM Vol.2. This is a good example of what deferred items should look like. Currently these don't appear to be modeled...Is this intentional, or a bug, or am I doing something wrong? The ECL seems so complete in most areas, it would be a great shame if this wasn't corrected - for those of us who love …

All: I've had some FMC issues when trying to change STAR and arrival runways in the FMC. It seems to be isolated to flights where the flightplan is rather large, with say 6 to 10 pages of waypoints, like the KMEM to OMDB run. The last time it happened to me I tried to change approach and runway with about two pages of waypoints left. It's hard to describe but I'll give it a shot: (Procedures and runways are fake since I'm not in front of the sim right now) 1. Had the ALPHA1 STAR and ILS27L programmed with appropriate transition fixes. 2. Wanted to change to the BETTA2 STAR and ILS27R so I went to the DEP/APP page, and tried to make the choices. 3. Dear Community, I have a quite big problem: I only have P3D, and i'd like to run the PMDG 777 I have heard that it isn't possible to install it directly into P3D, the same thing as the 737. I managed to run the 737 on P3D with a few tweaks, a friend of mine used the FSX to Preoar3d migration tool.... FSX and P3D run on the same source code, so... Did anybody try to import it? Thank you! What is the font Boeing uses for the NNumber displayed in the virtual cockpit? Basically every repaint is wrong since not only the registration is listed but right below the SELCAL. I'd like to know the font used so I can edit the nnumber file myself? Thanks

Hi, On a few flights recently, the 777 has veered off course and stops tracking LNAV. Here's a map of what happened: And here's the panel view (using my 2d backgorund for a clearer screengrab - though I was in VC during the flight): You can see that LNAV is still on, but it's way off course, and just goes slowly back and forth around a south heading. Any ideas? Bryn.

In the ngx the ILS approach was working fine I understand I need the ILS frequency for the runway and all that but really can't get it to function on the 777 and capture the glide scope for a automated landing. I know I annoyed a vatsim atc the other day because I couldn't get lined up and he got really annoyed about it which I do understand any help would be great. Like what buttons I should be pressing. Rob

Though I would ask here to see if anybody else had seen this. I set up the plane at Dubai and took off from runway 12L. I had a flight plan to climb to FL310 and then later a step climb to FL350. I use VoxATC which takes it's route direct from FSX flight plan, which unbeknown to me had set the flight level at 350, so as I climbed ATC told me to climb to FL330. I rolled the altitude to 330, press the knob and then went to check the FMC's, both of which was frozen. I could not change the page although the buttons still clicked and everything else worked fine, the aircraft still climbed but I could not do anything on the FMC's.
