Good Evening Everyone, Browsed through the forum, and checked the official 'bug list', and can't find this. Maybe someone can point some light on this for me... Today I reinstalled everything because I was experiencing a lot of flightsim crashed which was a direct result of a faulty Hard Dive. I was doing about two hours of 'test flights' now in the 777 which was going perfectly, without any crashed until I tried to use the auto cruise. I immediatley got an FSX BEX crash. Any ideas on this? Cheers.

Hey there, When I taking off, then normally you used to fold the gears. But when I push the ''G'' on the keyboard nothing happens. And in my virtual cockpit I see the gear lever is going up and down but the wheels not... What can I do? Thanks

Hello, I am still learning a lot about how to program the fmc on aircraft on fsx, I have the capt. Sim 777 and I can load the fmc from the flight plan that I create on the fsx flight plan sceen. I wanted to see if I can do this with the pmdg 777, if soe, how is this done? Please ms me. Thank you!

I live in Houston, and we now have fully operational GLS approaches for IAH's standard arrival runways. Does PMDG have any plans to implement GLS approach compatibility with any of their aircraft? Hi, I enjoy my 777 PMDG. But i have a little technical question about the Baro or Radio settings to display for the DA when landing. Imagine we are landing on the EDDK airport, performing the ILS14L approach (Elevation of THR 14L is 230 ') On the charts we can see this info : ILS Cat II Category D (B777) : 323 (93) What does i set on my MCP : - BARO with 323 ? - BARO with 93 ? - RADIO with 323 ? - RADIO with 93 ? Could u give me the answer and the explanation ? Thanks a lot.

I have been adjusting all my settings: FSX, DX10 Fixer, Desktop Color Settings(Nvidia Control Panel) trying to improve the instrument panels in the 777, with little success. At a zoom 0.60 the numbers and letters on the main panel are jagged and barely legable. this is not only on the glass gauges but the autopilot and printing around knobs and switches throughout the cockpit. Is there any way to make this more clear? I have a 27" HP moniter with resolution 1920 x 1080. Thanks Paul

Hi Guys. See picture. Anyone know a fix for it? Happens whenever visibility is bad, clears again when visibility is good. As you can see the yoke, evac panel, standby instrument panel, parts of the overhead panel and several other buttons and switches have gone weird. Does anyone know how to get the airport > old HK Kai Tak (VHHX) to be recognized by the T7's FMC. I created a FP OMDB-VHHX and when I entered "OMDBVHHX" into the CO Route block in FMC, the FMC indicated that the entry was invalid. Thank you, Ken Boardman

Hi 777 Captains, after reading many threads on the 777, I am wondering how many fly it in real time, so no time compression. I believe a mean flight time would be around 12 hours, what do you do in those hours? I am sure there are the ones who just go to sleep, and wake up the next mornig, in time for landing, but that does not count. I would like to hear from those who monitor the flight from take off to landing, like the ones who fly online, and have to be ready in case ATC calls in the middle of nowhere, over the ocean, etc. How do you manage it, what do you do during the flight? Study the manual, watch a movie with the PC under control, or else? Just curious, as …

Dear Forum, After tranig search i couldnt find an answer. So please dont kill me if this question has been alrdy answered I bought the 777 about 2 weeks ago. And after playing a but around and trying some things. I recognised(only online a problem) that the navdata is out of date. So i am asking if i Need to purchase new datas or is there a possibility to get them from pmdg? Hi Everyone. I have Kai Tak installed in the FMC. I downloaded it from VAPAP. But when I download a flightplan from VRoute and install it into the 777 flightplans folder, when I try to load this plan into the FMC I get a INVALID ENTRY. I do not have this issue with any other flightplan used in the same FMC from the same 777 flighplan folder. Any help is much appreciated. Thank You.

I was going through the OPUS forums yesterday after not haveing been there for several months. OPUS is a weather engine as well as camera (viewpoint) creating tool. One of the lates achievement seems to be a fix for the FSX bug where your viewpoint moves all the time during turns, etc. (Seems to be because I have not tried it myself yet) I realize this post is not 777 specific and might not belong here, but since quite a few have complained about this bug bugging them more than ever with the 777, I am posting this find here. Hi, After endless emails, ticket opened and advice from everywhere I give up on trying to run PMDG 777 and NGX! After endless attempts of uninstalling/re-installing I can now not unregister the 777. Even after a license reset I get no activation screen thus she doesn't install properly resulting in endless anomalies that is driving me up the wall! Where should I start - weird cab press issues, fuel vanishing in an instant, batt discharge warnings with the engines shutting down etc. No, it is not the add-ons I am running as I have installed and run the 777 without any add-ons and anti-virus with no change. Hi, I am Keith, I purchased the PMDG 777and install it correctly. However, when i change the view outside or using Instant replay the screen will be crash or full blackscreen. Also it could'nt recoverable. I need to force closed everytime and when I open it again the same problem still appear. Please anyone can give me solution to slove this problem. and attached the screen capture.

Hello fellow 777 pilots, It's not the first time it has happened to me but I star descending and suddenly I realised I have dhosen the wrong Star, wrong transition, etc. I start to waste time fixing route discontinuities. The aircraft starts to drift off its descent path, and I try everything (VNAV, FLCH) but it does not want to descend. So I end up arriving at the localizer at FL320 and ruining my flight. :(

After completely setting up the install and the aircraft I followed the tutorial to take up in the air for the first time, but some reason when I set my trim it seems to come back to zero by itself. Once I ignored the warning and took off the airplane kept rocking back and forth once in the air. Any Help great package

Dear pilots, So yesterday i updated my navdata file, everything went fine. So i tried my saved flight to eddf. When i flew there the First Time online, i had One minor Problem. The Controller wanted me to Flyer direct to df416, After some secs, due no change from my side.... He wanted me to fly to df415. As they are in the Transition Charts of rwy25, i thought this wouldnt be any Problem. But i couldnt find any fmc entry which could fit. I always Get the error, invalid entry. 777 I cannot believe you have to shut down the engines, turm off the ADIRU, and switch the flight directors off and on all in order to enter your next leg route in the FMC.. Sucks Don Emerson ps easier to just reboot

Hey guys, I'm having a question regarding the service based failures in the 777. Fortunately, we can set up a multiplier so that our planes should get failures sooner. However, if I set it to let's say 4, I need 4 hours of flying time to decrease my "next service in"-countdown by 1 (starting from 62h with a new airplane). That makes no sense to me as it makes nonsense of the multiplier... Can anyone clarify this for me? Furthermore, it seems to me that the 777LR and the 777F each have only one countdown no matter what livery you fly. Is this correct as it would be different from the NGX where every livery has its own countdown? Thanks in advance!
