I recently downloaded the PMDG 777-300, the download procedure was no problem, however, when I activated my FSX and clicked on the plane, the plane showed the bare essentials and was merely a skeleton, I have had this problem before with another plane, but have had none with the PMDG 777-200, I can not recall what the problems were. Hoping some of you might be able to help me out. Thank you in advance Jacobus Homan

Hey all, I'm currently creating a route database for all of the routes the -300ER flies in real life (exception: Emirates, it would add too much time). With any sort of luck, I'll push the file out to you tomorrow, and I'll update it monthly hopefully! I'm having some trouble though with the Biman Bangladesh routes. It's difficult to find their -300ER routes due to their lack of presence on flightaware and minimal presence on flightradar24. All I have so far is Dhaka to London, Jeddah, and Riyadh. I have installed the 777-200 SP1 and -300ER expansion, and have the following two problems, maybe someone on here could help me: 1. When descending with the 777-200, sometimes (not always) it will stop descending, and try to maintain a random altitude. While doing this the airspeed will drop to dangerous levels...yet in the FMC the speed on the "descend" page ("VNAV" page) will show a realistic value. I have not experienced this effect with the 777-300ER, the latter will fly the same route perfectly and descend normally, and maintain the FMC speed 2. I have found when changing to the digital clock option, the analogue clock is visible from the cockpit when looking over the glareshield at the nose of the 777F. The analogue clock is sticking out of the nose of the aircraft. I always use TrackIR and have got into the habit of sightseeing by sometimes leaning over the glareshield and looking over the nose of the 777. This is obviously only a minor thing but I thought it should be mentioned in case it can be rectified. Fergus Cameron

Hello Guys, I've tried working the PMDG's TCAS for about 2 months now and I can't get to have t working. I've used Aerosoft Airbus X Extended's TCAS and it's a brilliant piece of equipment. On the other hand, on the PMDG. I've the transponder at the TA/RA, TA Only, etc... and none of them work. I get the TCAS ring on the ND but no aircrafts to display and the PFD seems to have 2 red cues (I think they relate to resolutionary advisories). I've read the documentation and nothing helped. Went over everywhere on the internet, and no luck again. Any ideas lads?

First of all its ok if you refer to the page in the FCOM, I just find them a bit confusing to search in. Can anyone please explain how to do a bleedless take off, with A/C still being delivered to the passengers(IAH/DXB weather setting) What's the trick to writing coordinates into the FMC? What's the logic behind the abreviated ways to write them? Thank you for any help!

Hello, I recently tried a self made scenario with several hydraulic issues. To be more specific: R system both EDP and demand pump failed and a leak on the C system; thus Hyd press sys R + C EICAS message posted and NNC handled. I was suspecting to have no nose wheel steering available after landing rollout but surprisingly it was. To sum up my understanding of the system - NWS is supplied by the C/Reserve hydraulic system which has its reservoir below the 'normal' C fluid level and is driven by elec C1 main pump (which I have failed as well to test behavior) As both C (including reserve) + R hyd systems were inop the BRAKE SOURCE annunciator was lit meaning onl…

I have downloaded Service Pack 1 and have used PFPX for my flight plan as usual. However,when I go through the initial process I carry out the Route Request Etc and get all the 'ping pong' signals but the Perf Init Uplink does not show and therefore when I click on Perf Init my values have not been entered. Could anyone assist me in trying to find out why I am not receiving the Perf Init Uplink-what could be the reason. Previously I have had no issues with the PMDG 777 and therefore this is a bit frustrating. Many thanks in advance. Michael

I've seen a status page on the MFD on youtube that shows UTC, DATE and Elapsed Time on the bottom right side of the MFD. Hi folks, Could a kind soul possibly make a repaint of N736FE (40993/1006) in all white paint, after she was cancelled by Air Austral and before delivery to Iraqi Airways. Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone can provide some tips for handling takeoff for PMDG 777-300ER. My last two takeoffs have been with very steep to the point of reach stall speed. My climb rate jumps up to 5000 ft/min or more as soon or very soon after I rotate. In first takeoff I had fuel level down to 11% with payload reaching 80%. This flight had trim setting 5.5 - recommended by CDU. Second takeoff was with fuel 65% and payload reaching 65%. This flight had trim setting 5.75 - recommended by CDU. As soon as I start climbing my initial takeoff speed flies upto 205 kts then falls down to 135 kts as climb rate increases upto 5000+ ft/m. BTW, I thin…

Seems AVSIM has temporarily disabled the Search function, so someone might be able to refresh my memory. I thought I saw some time ago that the 300ER would be equipped with a HGS. Was I dreaming? I'm not seeing anything in the FMC A/C Equipment sections.

I noticed there are now 3 options listed for "AP DISC SCHEME": 1 Press, 2 Presses, and 2 Presses Unsilenced. Testing them it seems 1 Press disconnects and silences, but both of the 2 Press options appear to behave the same as before where you need to wait the 1.5 seconds or so between presses. What is the difference between the 2 options? I did search the FCOM but did't find anything.

Hello fellow aviators, Needles to say, the TCAS is a brilliant piece of equipment that is a non-disposables tool in congested airspace. I've tried working it out for over 2 months on the T7 with no luck... I've went over the documentation and forums a million times and findled with every TCAS related switch with no luck. The issue is that the TCAS rings are present and it seems at a first glance to work, but no aircraft is displayed at any range, and the PFD has opposite red cue that, if I understood correctly, relates to the resolutionary advisory; AKA RA. Hello everyone ! I have a problem regarding push back. In FMC push back function when I set an angle of 90° to go back out of the gate and to be aligned with taxiway, turn radius is very large. (even with the minimum path distance of 76m) Each time, I finish at the other side of the parking area or in the grass.... It looks like the steering gear can't rotate in its full angle range... To illustrate my words, there in Dubaï: There is widely enough space to maneuver and I finish in coconuts trees with FMC set to minimum distance of 76m and 90° left turn.... Yesterday I performed a test flight with the 777-300ER over the Netherlands. After some tests I performed a touch and go at Groningen Eelde, what is a normal procedure for KLM to do on test flights. After the touch and go, I retract the gear and flaps and a normal climb out to 2000 feet. When I want to activate the app procedure and the runway for EHAM on the top left LSK a fatal error occurred. A restart of the simulator was needed and I loaded the flight back from autosave. Try the same thing and again a fatal error occurred two times in a row. Hi there. Since i have been using FSX i have never got OOM before at all but just did my first flight with PMDG77W and 2 OOMs in my first flight? Is there something going on? I reformatted my com before this also and installed everything from scratch again. Never really had that much problem before SP and 77W. Please help thanks.
