  1. How to setup these options realistically? How much input real aircraft requires before "the FBW pitch mode changes to manual control from the hands-off speed stability or path hold modes"?

    After starting FSX then the 777-300 the aircraft is never in the correct parking possition at gate.

    Hi Gents, It sounds like there are a few small issues regarding the SP1 (freezing) and things lof that nature. Right now my 777 is perfectly flyable so should i wait? Give me some feedback on how many people exactly have this issue because im not quite sure Many thanks John Freeman

  5. Sorry one more thing that i thought you'd need in a seperate thread: the warning/caution lights don't seem to be working correctly. If one disconnect the autopilot, for example, the EICAS red message comes up and the master warning light. But if you reconnect it again, the EICAS warning disappears (as it would in the real a/c), but the Master warning light remains illuminated. Same for the ILS antenna caution i keep getting (anyone know why?) - if it is cleared on the EICAS, it remains lit on the master caution light.

    I've been flying the tutorial 1 now for several times. At a point I decided to change the runway from 12L to 12R. Strangely the ILS pre-selected frequency is not the same as in FSX. So how do I manually override the pre-selected ILS? I tried to override in FMC but failed. Many thanks for any suggestions. Nic

  7. Hi there, maybe somebody can confirm this: when refueling on ground using ground operations and doing preflight I am not able to enter the fuel data on perf page manually. I wanted to finish preflight as pax were aboard and only some litres of fuel were missing. As I had the final fuel data I wanted to enter it manually. The display switched from "calc" to "manual" but my entry was not entered nor was there any failure message. Tried 127.6 and 127600. I was using metric system and 300ER modell.

  8. I've noticed that VREF and flap setting is not displayed on the PFD during approach and landing although I did select FLAP30 on the FMC during descent. Is this a customer option? I can't find it in the display pages on the FMC.

  10. Hi, I just recently got myselfe the 777 and have been mainly flying the 200F since then. Yesterday I noticed weird autopilot behaviour in cruise, during a turn. The autopilot will correctly bank into the turn and will fly the turn a bit too tight. This leads to the problem that the autopilot then will command a short bank into the oppositie direction, which looks pretty strange.     Hi, I just installed the 300ER onto my computer and this has come up, the 200LR was working fine last time I checked, I had to reinstall the 777 because I reformatted my computer and so I am beginning to try and get FSX working again, Thanks James

    So I've looked through the manuals both introduction and FCOM v2. While the FCOM v2 shows that takeoff bump can be selected like any other derate option, when I look in the FMC, there isn't a TO B option. The FCOM mention it as a airline option and the intro manual it did mention the 300ER's engines being able to do TO B. I also looked at the issue tracking post, and that too mentions TO B being enabled for SP1. Maybe I overlooked something?

    Why would the Aux Tank selection be "grayed out" (non-selectable) in the FMC options? It's grayed out in the FMCs of both the -200 and -300. Thank you, Ken

    Hello In the 777-300 I was using the BA Livery from the OC and I cannot close the main door or the cargo doors. I dont have this issue with House Livery. I have even tried the assignment key and I cannot get it to work, any idea? David

    Hello PMDG friends, The topic has undoubtedly been around at one time or rather but it seems that I cannot find it so I am looking up at one of you for assistance. I did not notice it earlier that there seems to be a weight/pax etc. discrepancy for the 777-200LR between PFPX and TOPCAT. Please someone inform me which of the two is correct and/or is there any software update I seem to have missed? Thanks in advance and kind regards Dirk

    I had Active Sky 2012 and I uninstalled it yesterday. After installing it I restarted my computer and went back to FSX and when I pressed SHIFT+5 a blank HiFi Technologies radar came up. I went in and manually removed all the flies that are from Active Sky and HiFi Technologies and it still does it. I found out that it is called xGuage and I looked to see if there were any files with that name and there were not. So I would love to get this completely uninstalled so that SHIFT+5 pulls up what it is supposed to.

Hello everyone, I have so strange problems with my PMDG 777. am I the only one who suffers from these problems? 1. during cruise or even on ground, center fuel tank quantity drops to zero. 2. at the same time, cabin pressure drops too. and the cabin altitude indicator shows ridiculous figure. 3. MAIN and APU battery voltage drops to minus hundreds or thousands! all of these things happen at the same time, like an explosion, and EVERY FLIGHT!!!

    Hi Does anyone else find the 777 difficult to control in regards to speed when flying through turbulence? I often struggle to keep the speed down on approach if there is turbulence about. Does anyone have any advice or tips for better speed control? I use ASN. Thanks

    I'm not sure if this has been reported but the Thrust Mode Display on the EICAS does not change from CLB to CRZ after reaching the target cruise altitude. The Auto Flight System is operating in VNAV. I have to manually change it to CRZ.

    this might not be linked to the 777, but for some reason since i installed SP1 the total air temperature showing seems to be very high. I am using Active Sky Next the moment i shut it off Active Sky the temp comes down tremendously under FSX live weather.

    First off let me say how beautiful the 77W is! Thank you! The reason for posting this - when panning around admiring the airframe in exterior view, I zoomed in to view the forward taxi cam that shows the nose wheel, when doing so my FPS dropped significantly from 120+ to 5.4 that's on the exterior view with no additional windows open! I am currently flying to Washington from Istanbul so cannot post pictures, just to confirm - has anyone else noticed this?
