PMDG 777

Hey all, After attempting to uninstall and reinstall the latest update to the 777 from pmdg. After following all of the instructions when I go to launch a free flight in FSX with the 77W PMDG house (never had a request for activation yet btw) it launches into a VC that looks cold and dark BUT I can not actuate any buttons, switches, or toggles. The yoke is jammed hard over left and the throttles are at 100%. When i try to move any control surface with my joystick I get no response. I was going to attempt to do a complete clean install of the whole 777 program but apparently PMDG doesn't keep the download links for 1 year like they promise in the emails so I don't ha…

Great job on the SP and 300ER. I did notice something though on the landing gear that I never noticed before. On all the pics I have seen online there is something on the leading edge of the front axle of the gear. Is that some kind of customer option? I noticed the PMDG 200 or 300 does not have this. Have the same problem with unstabel takeoff .My Elevator trim does not Work when i trim Down but there is no problem when i trim up.?? Alternate trim is working Thomas

I'm having trouble when loading my 777 in game. It will only show cockpit view of plane, but nothing else the rest of the plane is missing. Any ideas would be helpful.

First of all. This is not a request or a complaint. No issues with pmdg rtm package before and with sp1 and 300 er version as well. Somehow I am just thinking that I have seen ETA ON ND of pmdg to arrive at destination is implemented as shown in pics (beta). And chronometer in ND as well. If I am wrong totally, then just delete this post. Or am I just in false impression. Thanks for the release though.

Hi fellow simmers ! I'd like to know about some impressions of PMDG 777' s Autohtrottle behave when in Hold Mode. Please the intention here is discuss only based on last paragraph on PMDG FTCOM page 99. i was expecting that the SP would have to be installed from the OC. i guess it is the good ol' fashioned download and install on this one. is the update function in the OC intended for something else, like micro updates, in the future? or did it just not work on my system as it should have?

Hi. I would like to ask you about "TOO LOW FLAPS" warning in SP1. I often do Touch and Go training with 77L, and at that time, T/O flaps are 15 and APCH flaps are 20. With SP1, "TOO LOW FLAPS" warning awakes below 300ft, while it wouldn't WITHOUT SP1. Configurations and operations are following. * Fuel and Payload are 10% * In RTE page, same ARP is set to ORIG and DEST (RJGG), without any airways and fixes. * Departure and Landing RWY are selected (36), without any SID, ARR and IAP. * PREFs are filled (Alt 1500, TO2/CLB2, Flaps 15 etc). * In APPROACH page, flaps and speeds are set to "20/138". * Take-off WITHOUT TO/GA switch, and flaps remain 15, t…

I've seen pictures where you can use you EFIS COMMS function and SAT button, but i cannot find a way to make it work. The fmc sat button is not available ( not iluminated bright) and the EFIS comms appears as the regular B777 without the SP1. I've been looking through the documentation but i didn't fing anything that explains how to make it work. Has anybody an idea? any help please?? Thanks!

Hi, I saw SP1 and -300ER getting released. I bought the -300ER first and downloaded SP1. Now i tried to install SP1 but i am getting an error message. A Picture: I do have a ticket at PMDG at the moment, but i was just wondering if someone had the similar and maybe even have a solution. Thanks in advance! Jesbie

I minimized FSX for about an hour last night and when I came back to fly, both of my engines had failed. It was very bizarre as this has never happened to me before. I had plenty of fuel and my sim was definitely paused (mine pauses automatically upon minimizing). It was really surprising and frustrating. I am also encountering problems with "auto time compression". Upon reaching top of climb, the sim did not automatically switch into time compression. I had to right click on the clock button (still unsure about why that's changed). when it did activate, it was very very hesitant to get above "2X". Something doesn't seem right. Just had to shutdown the sim in midflight, because during cruise, A/T, LNAV and VNAV all engaged, the T7 started to depart from its track and CRZ FL, climbed at high rates, speed went into stall area. No way to stop the bird from doing this, neither HDG SEL nor FLCH would work. Disengaged A/T and A/P, brought her back to stable flight, and re-engaged A/T and A/P. Then history started to repeat itself ... Tried a 3rd time with ASN off (wx changing to 'clear day' in FSX) - no joy either. Anyone else who can confirm?

If I purchase the 777 today, will the SP1 updates be included, or, do we have to download the separate basic and SP1 downloads? Bill T

I have bougt the expansion yesterday evening and did a flight from eham-kjfk without any problems but then on the way back i tried the time compression function up till 4x timecompression there are no problems but then is selected the 8x timecompression and the plane starts turning and it can't keep the flight path and the instruments says its turning without turning the plane can anyone help me please it'sreally anoying and it cant keep the altitude either when at 8x timecompression

Hi, I have a weird problem after installing SP1 and 300ER. I did a clean install to solve my problem but I guess it's related to network problem. My internet works fine and I tried wifi, ethernet and tethering but still I can't download any livery from OC and activate 300ER. I get these messages: 1.There was an unknown error downloading the list of liveries. 2. Error unable to connect to activation server. Please check you internet connection and try again.

Wow. Congratulations to whole PMDG team for such an awesome update and an super awesome addon. 300ER up and running (ZERO issues) - couple of minor issues. GSX doesn't really seems to fit the 300ER structure. For example look at this catering truck :o I am sure 300ER is made to scale, so probably GSX update needed ? does anyone has the same issue ? - Last one .. are those black lines at the wings is an actual part of 300ER design or is it just a graphic glitch in my FSX ? Hi, I tried to install the 22k internal sounds but it have stuck half way through. First OC download then backing up. But after that it looks like they never made it to the sound folder. Every time I start OC it checks the sound files and marks the Stock as the ones installed. So I click the 22k button and it starts to work but after the check the Stock sound is still marked. Done the above several times without luck. Where are the files located after download? It should be possible to switch between the two sets so where are they when they are not in the sound folder? Nothing about sound in C:\Documents and Settings\Per\Application Data\PMDG\PMDG …

Fellow captains, Just flew into rpll. Had to go around twice with the winsdhear alert.they are having some major storms in the area. I noticed the A/T could not keep the mcp speed and I had to take over a couple of times. Pretty nervous approach. This aircraft is a gun and I love flying it! Thanks PMDG! Ash allen
