PMDG 777

Just tried my LR SP1, set up my aircraft options and spin it for one ILS. It's really amazing. I started with visible trim reference speed bug but I found it counter intuitive. I guess that's why it's not visible in real aircraft, but I found it great for test purposes to see how aircraft behaves. It also feels so nice when it trim it for flaps and gear; it stays trimmed but it's not just like nothing happens, you can notice automation working to achieve its task. I just have doubts how to set CTL COLUMN NULL ZONE and CTL WHEEL NULL ZONE. What would be most realistic setting? I know many joysticks and yokes are available on market and all of them behaves a little bit …

Does anyone else think it is taking a ridiculously long time for PMDG to make this plane available for P3D? And please don't give me the complex licensing bs.

The letter shows up beside the altimeter number. Its either L or R. Hoping someone can shed some light on it.

Now that we have weather radar coming to the 777, will there ever be an option to use the efb in the cockpit? A takeoff calculator and charts we can view? That would be a great addition to make the airplane complete. Robert Stein

Fellow captains, what's your first 777-300er flight? For me it will be YSSY-RPLL. A short 6hrs or so. Hopefully some storms on arrival to test out the WX radar. Ill probably be at a local NRL game when its released though here in Sydney. Ashley allen

I'm getting very comfortable with planning and saving Flight Plans in PFPX for the 777... However my confusion now comes from importing and Activating the Imported FP into the 777 FMC and getting the correct wind/TO and Landing numbers. Is there a tutorial somewhere that picks up from the PFPX imported FP to getting all the numbers correctly set into the 777 FMC? Thanks!

Is there a way I can disable the fly by wire? I am not liking it, it messes with my hand flying too much.

My two Saitek throttle quadrants, connected via FSUIPC to the PMDG777, have done just fine for a while now. But lately I have been messing around with adapting a real B737 throttle quadrant to try to make it work with the 777. When I connected it for the first time I had to experiment a little with FSUIPC to see how to best setup up the various axis. After messing about long enough, all of a sudden the PMDG777 would not climb above 4000ft anymore. It would not accelerate either. Before Cockpit Preparation, I have the siren and the message STABILIZER. I cannot get rid of it. The non-normal checklist doesn't help me. What is causing this? How do I correct it? Cheers, Richard

Hello everybody.I have just bought 777(nearly 1 hour ago).After I installed it I have tiny problem.Everyting is awesome but PFD has red cross.Like I'm testing TCAS(I didi test but it isn't removed).I have reinstalled T7 for 3 times but same problem.Please help me.I have been waiting for this purchase for 2 monthes.

My nvidia drivers 340.43 and now 340.44 beta are failing. Before this happened I got a blue screen while running fsx with the pmdg 777 while I was on a runway. I noticed the FPS was lower than ever so I really couldn't understand, they went from not dropping below 25 to 15. I had installed ftx recently but was running fine at first. I also had utx running so I thought it was some incompatibility issue and/or because I activated the north american region of ftx after having the global one while having the ftx demo region active. So in any case I uninstalled everything related to fsx and fsx and reinstalled in the same way except utx. So when I start running fsx everything …

So, I'm on vatsim about to take off from KMEM runway 27, and then right before I try to switch camera views, I freeze. The only addons I was using was FSinn and the 777. I use Nvidia inspector, and I've configured my cfg file. I have my system spec's on my profile, but if you want a quick glance, I have an evga gtx750ti, amd fx4300 3.8ghz, 8gb ram.

Hi all, Yesterday I had a wonderful time flying a BA T7 from KBOS to EGLL, approaching in good weather conditions, but all of a sudden, I had a "EFFIS CONTROL PNL L" message, checked and yes, I was unable to chage data on the screen. I checked in the FMC / Failures: no failure activated. Any idea ? Cheers.

Hey, sorry if this question has been asked before, but searched around and couldn't find it... so here I go: Afters a good amount of autolands, I want to practice manual landings with the PMDG 777. I've read that it is common practice (even recommended by Boeing) to leave the autothrottles engaged at all times, even when landing manually. So here I am descending on the G/S with autothrottles engaged, autopilot engaged in app mode. Now at around 1000 ft above ground, I disengage the autopilot, whilst keeping the AT on as per recommendation. But I find myself in the obvious need of making small pitch adjustments to keep the bird on the glidepath. My question is,…

Hello I have this problem that my PMDG 777 elevator raise a little when my joystick is plugged in but when back to normal at 0 after my I disconnect my joystick. Is there any solution? Joystick plugged in After my joystick is plugged out

I thought I would come here before putting in a ticket to pmdg. I can load a new flight, fly and save just fine. But when I load a saved flight there is no countdown and all panels are black with zero control of the aircraft. The did a Complete reinstall of fsx just a few days ago. The only add-ons I have now are the pmdg 777, pmdg 747 (all varietys), asn and gsx. Also that ******* tweaking tool. Any help I would be beyond grateful. PS these problems started before I did the complete reinstall.
