PMDG 777

Hi guys! As I begin to roll, the parking breaks activate. I press the period key, nothing happens, it just resets itself. I looked in the FMC, the chocks are NOT on. When I go into VC view and touch the parking break switch, it goes up and down with out a problem...except it dosen't disengage the brakes. Please help!

Awesome update thanks! This is incredibly trivial but I was wondering if there is a quick and simple way of increasing the external APU sound volume? It's very faint with my installation but I know from experience that the real thing is very loud. All of my volume adjusters within PMDG are currently set to default settings. Thanks, Luke

Does anybody else get no approach/arrival data for KORD? I also get a message in the scratchpad "ERROR. RWY 10C N/A". I have the latest navigraph cycle installed. It doesn't seem to happen with the NGX (or any other airports as far as I've noticed) so I'm not sure what's going on.

So I have seen a few other people posting about the external views, and I am having the same issues. Here is some extra info that may not have been put out though. I'm running FSX with and not getting external modeling with EZCA. When I switch to default external views like spot I get the model...however, There are no wheels and landing gear struts almost as if the plane in in the air. Also, this one is a little weird. Because last night I downloaded, installed and flew the -300 without any issues, this morning I fired it up again for a longer flight and none of the internal switches, buttons...anything work! I can't click them, and when I highlight them I don't even get …

Hello, yesterday I downloaded the SP1 and the 300ER. I installed everything and activated the 300ER. Then I tested the 300ER for a few minutes and it worked. Now, I wanted to fly from Frankfurt to Heathrow, but I have no landing gear. I also can't move the yoke, pedals or throttles. The displays are dark and the FMC is not working. At the top the green bar comes up for a second and then it disappears. So the aircraft won't initialize. Does anybody has an idea?

Please help. When loading the 777 I get a message saying "Initialization of license library failed" and no window opens up to enter license key. Please advice on how to fix this. Thanks Sherwin Sam

Hi Everyone, I want to congratulate the PMDG Team for accomplishing in developing and releasing a fabulous aircraft. I love the handling of 777 even better than before. Last night I started a short haul flight from OPKC to OMDB with flightplan imported from PFPX: N0499F360 MELO2A MELOM J215 PUNEL A325 PARET/N0498F380 A454 PASOV B540 BUBIN BUBI6B. And then it got so late last night that I literally fell asleep. As far as I remember my takeoff was pretty much flying like a drunk lol. However before taking off I had made sure that my autocruise, autoclimb and pause at TOD was enabled. Then few hours later I heard ATC talking. That woke me up in surprise because…

I've been flying the T7 since the day it came out. Like all of you I've waited impatiently for the Sp1 to come out. So Ive downloaded the they i came out and I was so happy... To all the people having problems with the weather please please read the manual. If I'm not mistaken, it came out even before the SP1 and the 300ER were out. Also the OOM messages, don't you can't have a beetle driving the same way as a Bugatti. If your system can't handle it down clock it. Another thing I saw was "what's that little thing in the wing?" Dear Sir / Madam, So as everyone has been doing, I downloaded the Service pack yesterday. To start off with, it's a GREAT update, especially the Weather Radar. When I installed it and did everything necessary, I went to start my flight and up to my disappointment the Radar didn't show anything, and yes, in stormy weather! It just says - WX+T +2M VAR I tried changing gain but not even one piece of Green block showed up. Once again, a great update, but I'd highly appreciate any solutions. Thanks in advance, Jake

I didn't see any threads about fatals particularly with SP1 and the 77W, so I decided to create a thread. I have had fatal errors occur during both of my 77W flights. On my first 77W from KLAX to RJAA in the ANA livery, at about 4 miles out I got a fatal error. No performance issues or anything else was noticed during the flight. This was about 10 and a half hours after takeoff, no time compression used. I then tried RJAA to KORD (same plane and livery, computer was restarted), about 12-13 hours. Right at the 100 feet GPWS callout, I got another fatal error. This flight though I encountered an repetitive issue with frames randomly dropping for a few seconds (to about 8-9f…

Height was on 900ft and i push the TOGA button. The bird starts to accelerate, but with wrong height i know, it starts to luffing up and down. I see that my altitude is wrong and set to go around altitude 4000 and turn in given HDG of ATC. After this i get next turn into final and see, that ILS not working. I go into FMC cpt side and hit DEPARR key and get this error code on copilot side FMC. First go to the entry page like FMC between com and nothing happens on it. I can set all via FMC on…

How are we supposed to get the V speeds figured out, i know the real aircraft gets them from the EFB?

Hi Gents, It sounds like there are a few small issues regarding the SP1 (freezing) and things lof that nature. Right now my 777 is perfectly flyable so should i wait? Give me some feedback on how many people exactly have this issue because im not quite sure Many thanks John Freeman
