Hi! I have a question about PMDG 777, to be more specific about B777F aircraft type. After installing SP1 I've noticed that suprnmry oxygen switch on overhead panel became unavailable. In case of 777 passenger version it is there and it is serviceable. Is it some source of error I am facing or it has been intentionally done? Thanks for help. Regards, Adam

Hello fellow aviators, Needless to say, the TCAS is an exquisite piece of equipment and an indisposable one in congested airspace and due to the incompetence of our freindly neighborhood FSX ATC xD. For 2 months now I've tried working the T7 TCAS, with no luck. I've tried every documentation that exists, videos, forums, etc... with no luck. I've tried fiddling with every TCAS-related switch, knob, and screen; not working yet. What i'm facing is I have the TCAS rings on the ND and the transponder knob on TA/RA, or TA Only (based on where I am) but can't see any aircraft at any range. Hello, Ok here's the thing: -> PMDG 777-300 (All weather radar settings (tilt and gain) at default) -> ASN -> EZDOK I don't know if anyone has experienced this. I know that PMDG 777-300 weather radar depicts turbulences where there are precipitations... What is strange is that last night, took off from EIDW heading to OMDB, there was fog (no rain). But there was turbulence as the plane was shaking badly.... The weather radar ner displayed anything.....I selected from ND and went from WRX to WRX+T etc...Nothing. Is this normal ? Also on the ground, you can see the weather being really bad but yet the radar does not show anything....…

On the runway I hit 52% throttle, then engage TOGA, I rotate as usual, get into a stable climb then engage A/P with LNAV/VNAV. But almost always the plane will go into overspeed. I am sure it is something I am (or am not) doing, anyone have a suggestion?

Small (animation related) bug report. Haven't tried in the 200LR/F, but it's there in the 300ER: The switch animation for the Thrust Asym Comp isn't correct. Hard to explain, but if you try it you can see it. The lettering stays put basically.

Hi, I was flying KMEM-EFHK at 35000 and the evening began to become darker. I first switched the logo lights on and then switched the dome lights on. After putting the dome lights, the sound of the aircraft changed oddly and the plane was on its way down. In the fsx window nothing reacted to my mouse or joystick inputs. hello. i just bought the PMDG T7 the other day and im doing the Tutorial #1 mission and i've run into a snag. Every time i get to my CRZ ALT of FL380 i get the red alarm and beeping of "CABIN ALTITUDE" ive used the search function which suggested re-installing and i went through with it and i loaded up the same tutorial #1 (started over from scratch) and again when i got to my CRZ ALT of FL380 it went off. am i doing something wrong here? im following the tutorial step by step i though i might have forgot to pressurize the cabin. but i don't know. any help would be amazing. EDIT: ahh i forgot to turn on the L-pack and R-Pack to my Air condition…

I have completed the tutorial several times successfully (FMS programmed exactly as per the instructions). Now, I have saved the tutorial flight shortly before reaching TOD. When I reload this flight, the engines spool down and airspeed drops dangerously but VNAV does not descend, master warning siren starts, engine oil temperature climbs to red, electric, hydraulic and other failures are produced and so on. When I load this same flight and descend manually using MCP-speed and V/S, everything is fine. Michael

Hi all. Was just wondering how come PMDG is selective on what they want to model as "realistic" and what they do not want. Back to the much talked about weather radar. Saw many postings by potential PMDG B777 buyers asking about this and the answer is always "not possible to model that accurately in flight sim". I recall that they had a so called PAYWARE B747-800 extension to the B747 queen of the sky using the B747-400 cockpit. How accurate was that? Also no official response from PMDG on the taxi camera for the B777-300s. Heck not even if there is ever going to be a B777-200ER or B777-200 or B777-300. Hej there Since I have installed the wonderful SP1 and Boeing 777-300ER I have noticed when it comes to exiting FSX it keeps on crashing and then shows a 'api.dll' as the fault module. This has only started to happen since I installed SP1 and Boeing 777-300ER and only happens when I have loaded the PMDG aircraft. I am running ASN and my operating system is Windows Vista. Hi ladies and gents. In my attempt to be as proficient as possible understanding and learning how to control the mighty PMDG 777. I constantly practice various short haul European flights.....I always return to my home base of egpf (Glasgow). I have a long way to go before I am fully knowledgeable of all aspects in this beautiful bird.....but I'm having real issues on landing at egpf....I.e after touchdown...my throttles spool back up to takeoff setting....even tho they are pulled back fully. Then tonight on my ILS approach runway23.... My descent wouldn't let me go past fl30....am I doing something wrong....or is there a bug somewhere? If anyone can have a go on this…

So i learned a little trick to display all engine instruments on the upper EICAS and i thought i would share it with you all. 1. Make sure the Lower display is blanked/off OR not on the secondary engine display page. 2. Set the display select panel to either the L INBD or R INBD 3. Depending on which side you select on the display select panel, rotate the INBOARD DSPL knob to EICAS 4. Press the ENG button on the display select panel 5. Set the INBOARD DSPL switch back to MFD position. 6. Set the display select panel back to LWR CTR 7. Profit! To go back to the non compact mode just press the ENG button on the display select panel.

Hi, on my last two flights i´ve had an issue. The FMC freezes, but this ONLY happens during the cruize phase. It freezes showing the legs page, and no matter how many times i press a button on the FMC, it doesn´t respond. Thanks in advance for your help!

Before today, I have been able to fly the T7 normal with no problems. Just a couple of days ago, I did a KEWR - EGLL flight with the SP1 installed, and it was pretty great. As I write this, I'm currently flying EGLL - KEWR on the T7, and for some weird reason as I'm descending into Newark, the plane nav display freezes around 30,000 feet. I know that's a know FSX issues not related to PMDG, but it gets worse. I can't move nothing on the cockpit as this is happening. I pressing "/" to get my speedbrakes down. No matter how many times I press /, the speedbrake level doesn't move. Also, ATC is giving me direction to turn to a heading of 200, and when I press the heading indi…

I have installed the 777-200 SP1 and -300ER expansion, and have the following two problems, maybe someone on here could help me: 1. When descending with the 777-200, sometimes (not always) it will stop descending, and try to maintain a random altitude. While doing this the airspeed will drop to dangerous levels...yet in the FMC the speed on the "descend" page ("VNAV" page) will show a realistic value. I have not experienced this effect with the 777-300ER, the latter will fly the same route perfectly and descend normally, and maintain the FMC speed 2. I configured my EZDOK camera sets and saved them. The configuration took place when I was at Gatwick airport. The thing that is happening is the following: if i load the flight at Gatwick I have no problem with the camera views, but if i load the flight in any other airport in the world the views differs. i.e. (VRMM) if I go again to the FSX menu and go to airport (Gatwick) all the views are restored. Honestly i am unable to find anything related to this issue and this is not logic to happen.
