Prior to SP1 Update, I could enter F1/F5 for NADP2 departure profile. However, after the update it says 'Invaild Entry' Is this normal?

Hi, lately on my flights there´s been an issue that drives me crazy: on the FMC, the estimated fuel for the arrival airport is always going down, it never stops to decrease. This only happens on the SP1 though. I do exactly the same things that I used to do before the SP1 came out. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello to all, I'm expiriencing a CTD whenever I try to load the wind aloft data into the fmc. No matter if in flight or on ground it happens direct by pushing the request button :huh: It happens only with the -300 and SP1. Has anyone the same issue and can help me? Best Regards, Sven Wendel

Hi everybody, The other day I was flying the T7 and, for the first time, managing a quite long flight (EDDF-OMDB). I was reaching TOD and deactivated the Auto Cruise feature. As ATC requested a change on runway I modified the FMC data. When executed the new approach, the route on the ND changed from green to white dashed but never to green again, and the cockpit freezed (the plane was still flying). Any button worked. I had to close the sim. No ctd, no error codes, nothing. :( Did this happen to anyone else? Thanks!

Here is the letter I opened a ticket and sent to pmdg, just want to state the problem to you guys and see if someone can help me :blink: I would like to ask about the new wind data link function of SP1. I am facing problems that the wind data loaded is different from active sky next data, and some waypoints data are totally the same. In order to use this awesome new function, there is a few things I have done. a. Check the box "Auto load simulator flight plan" in Active Sky Next b. HI guys Pretty straight forward, when I'm in VNAV PATH on the Descent, thrust setting on the FMA goes to HOLD eventually, which is normal. On my Engine Display however, my MCT bugs follows the engines N1 all the way down to idle. Is this some sort of SP1 bug or is my education on the T7 totally off? I was messing around today in the 77W with the PMDG AF livery and noticed something strange. I saw that the units are in LBS, and not KGS. I went on a.net to see if i could pull up a picture and see, but none of them where clear enough to see the fuel readout on the EICAS. I then looked at the Skyteam AF livery, and saw that it uses KGS. So my question is, is this simply an error, or do some AF aircraft use LBS and other KGS? I know that point paints have the symbol next to them saying that they are verified accurate, but i just thought i would double check.

I bought the ER expansion recently and love it. However, if I were to fly on Vatsim/ivao, will anyone else with the PMDG 777 with sp1 see the exact same weather returns on their radars as I do, since we will all be using ASN for the wxr radar in the first place (assuming the same settings on the radar itself, of course)?

Hi guys, before the sp1 and -300ER, When i choose and ILS RW approach on the FMC it automatically placed the ILS frequency. Now, even if i choose ILS RW it still set it like visual approach RW.... Cant even see the ILS frequency on the approach ref page.... Assistance please... thanks in advance, Jonathan

Hi Guys, I am sure I saw on here a few days ago people discussing this issue, however I'll be damned if I can find it again. Oh on posting this that post has reappeared directly below mine.. However: (In case its a separate issue) Midway through a flight from Heathrow to JFK, and the time compression sets itself at 8x. At this point the aircraft veers sharply off track to the left. Ok probably shouldn't happen but I can deal with that. Hi guys , the last days i m having a lot of poblems with OOM , i, i couldn;t complete a flight longer then 5 hours . i made a test setting for myself trying to find out what whas causing it because i never had any problems with OOM before , even when i had lot of heavy scenerys installed , ASN , megascenery FTX scenery .All my sliders were to the right except or autogen wich was set at normal .This was before sp1 and the 773 came out . Everytime I select any variation of the 777 in free flight it asks for my activation key which I put in and it connects to the server and eventually tells me that my 777 has been successfully activated however if I close out of FSX and restart FSX and again select the 777 it asks for my activation key again. I tried loading up my NGX and did so without being asked to enter my activation key again. I'm not sure if this is related to the issue but I noticed once I activate my 777 and go into the sim my landing gear is invisible from the exterior view, the rest of the aircraft is all there.

Anyone experience stutters when fsuipc autosave kicks in ? Ive changed the save to 300 seconds so its not as noticeable but still anoying when it happens. Cant say I really noticed on my previous install of fsx with the 200LR but i had to wipe my operating system to get the 300ERX to activate and now I do notice. Any ideas ?

I search in the documents, but i'm not sure if it is described there. The fmc in the 737 calculate exactly the descent path from TD (say FL320 to FL2000). My 777 never calculates it right I'm endings up way to high. I can't even correct it. I fly over the runway at 5000 feet or higher instead of catching up the glideslope at 2000 ft Can anyone give a hint what I should do to let the FMC calculate this descent path right? Thanks. Eric

777 cockpit is great, but it is too sterile. Wouldn't be nice to update cockpit with some items which will give feeling that plane is in pilot hand ? Pilots always keep some maps, metars printout, or other sheet of papers in the pocket under glareshield, clipped to yoke or side window area. Meaning is to create cockpit feeling as real as possible, and those items are always present there.

Hi! Short question: in the FMC FS Menu, under payload there is the possibility to set pax up to 234 (14 +48+172), in wikipedia there is a max pax count of more than 314. Does anybody know where the difference comes from? Thanks, Oliver

At the moment i have only tested this with 300er. But sometimes, VNAV will not catch right. The bird start to descent to set FL. Then i'm a littlebit above of VNAV path. So may be 500-600ft. Now ATC gives me a DCT, VNAVN will be calculated new. VNAV path jumps down do offset to -2000ft. OK, no problem set speedbrk. But then happens: The bird hold descent and speed encrease. Faster and faster. I set VS of -3500ft. Nothing happens and after a while the bird start slowly with descent. Sometimes the nose is goeing up and down and start oscillating... and after shorttime it starts to descent... CI was 12, calculated by PFPX.

I checked the FCOM V2 but no specific details on "how to use the datalink to update the Flight Number uplink?". I understand how to use the other features of the datalink such as the ALTN Update, Forecast update, etc. Tried manually inserting the FLT Number, but this does not remove the FLT NUMBER UPLINK message.
