PMDG 777

Having made an approach into an airport, and before hand setting up a RTE 2 for my alternate airport. on trying to activate the RTE 2, and then change some of the legs, it causes all sorts of issues, I got pin errors, on one of the CDU's then the VNAV page was all corrupt text as cycled throught CLB, CRZ, and then when trying to set an altitutde on the MCP, it crashed FSX(freeze with sound) rebooting to saved flight to just after the go around, doing the same resulted in the same crash as soon as I tried to enter a altitude on the MCP by pressing altitude selector button in. All I have active within fsx is orbx global two add-on airports. A flight 280 miles and OOM as I land, last night it OOM turning final. Fantastic aircraft, until you try to fly from A-B Feel like binning it. Before with the 200 it was "just" OK I would get "dings" as I was shutting down. Now 3 flight RAAS turned of outside model turned OFF. Auto gen set to "normal" The NGX never. not once did I get a OOM, never had a OOM at all until the 777. Anyway......feel very frustrated with it. Better leave it at that.

I had a good start with 777-300ER from Bangkok in the most wonderful awful weather, came in cruise and the time came to warp to India for a Mumbai VABB landing. I moved the plane as usual in map and was going to put the next way-point on page 1 top. So LNAV could continue... "invalid entry" was the reaction. This is no good. For me its the same as a CTD that the flight cant be continue on CDU. I know that auto sim rate is at possibility.. B) TBut the other is for me to prefer over big distances. Why does the FCOM and QRH have the word "DRAFT" blasted diagonally across the page. I want to print some pages out but do not want the word DRAFT visible. Are the manuals still being finalized, when will the final copies be out?

hi guys , hope you can help me with this . I made a few flights , long and short with the 773 and everything works great but one thing i don't understand is the trim function. I read the manuals , saw YouTube films read the manuals again and again. How do i trim the plane on final approach ? I m fully configured , autothrust on gear down ref speed at 142 stable all the way down from beginning of the approach flaps down , disengage the autopilot at 600AGLt the speed stays fully stable as i can see with the fbw trim ref speed option . speed is 142 and right beside it is the fbw mark . Everything good so far except the autolands. I like to mostly do them manual but I wanted to check on this and they are pretty bad, the vs for them are never lower than -400, what could I be doing wrong? All indicators seem normal, autobrakes are engaged and speedbrakes armed.

Hello people! I tried to edit he panelstate to add MenuVirtualPower=1 to CDU.0 But the CDU keeps blank.

Tried a search but I can't find this specific issue amid other engine sound posts. I usually start no. 2 then no. 1, autostart procedure with both fuel switches in RUN detent, then start the engines in turn. No. 2 starts fine with no peculiar sounds. When starting 1 I hear an intermittent buzzer, sounds like flaps out-of-position or could be ignition cracker sound, not sure. Hardware throttle at idle during start. Buzzer stops when fuel flow starts and engine runs up. Anyone experienced similiar? It's the 773 BTW.

I seem to have deleted (or somehow lost) my 777 documentation. I am only able to access the first manual. All others don't respond to my call when I go to OC/777/documentation. Is there any place I can go to download the other manuals. I've checked the download section of PMDG website and they are not listed. I am having trouble and need to go the the documents to read them and try to figure out my solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx a million. Donald Baker

Loaded a saved flight today, 25nm from TOD. At TOD the AP pushed the nose hard down and the aircraft descended at 11000fpm. A shedload of yellow failure warnings came up on the EICAS. Tried reloading the same saved flight, disengaged AP and started descent manually then engaged AP when descent stable. No further AP issues but no. 2 oil temp rose to 260° and oil pressure dropped. Cleared failures in FMC PMDG options and all was OK for rest of flight. No idea what I did wrong. Anyone experienced similar?

I'm sorry guys, this has probably been asked a million times before... I can't get the radar to display anything. I'm using the SP1, in the FMC it says 1.1 and using ASN. Is there something that needs to be done besides installing SP1 or an additional plugin that needs to be downloaded?

Hello, Just a couple of secondes before the landing I experienced a freeze/stutter of 2 seconds, it's very annoying. I investigated and I think I found the issue, maybe it's the loading of the mist effect due to the touchdown. I'd like to know if it's possible to delete this effect without consequences and if the answer is yes can you give me the name of the file ? Thank you

After toying around in the T7 and SP1, I have continued to run into a problem. Interestingly, this issue occurs only on some routes - I do my preflights all the same way and I can't seem to figure out why this problem occurs in about 50% of my flights. I have not yet noticed any correlation between routes etc. Seemingly occurs at random..... :blink: When I click the button to load the route (provided from Simroutes.com) into the FMC via data-link, an error appears that reads, "Invalid Route Uplink". hey guys just updated to Sp1 and bought 300 and having issues as follows : 1) going into the OC i cant access any livery down loader (NGX, 777-2 or 777-3) i get a message saying " there a unknown error downloading the list of liveries. 2) when i try to active the 777-300 i get a message saying " Error unable to connect to activation server. please check you internet connection and try again. My internet is working fine. so please someone anyone help :unsure:

A lot of people have found with the PMDG 777 they are reaching the VAS limit. This is not a problem of the PMDG 777, it is because it is the PMDG 777. It has high quality textures and a fully functioning cockpit, it will use a lot of memory. On it's own you won't have a problem, the problem is that on it's own it looks out of place in a 2006 piece of software. We want the PMDG 777 in a 2014 piece of software and we get this with add-ons. First, the 777-300ER is amazing. Only one problem I had yesterday. After changing data, I´ve got the EICAS message "FMC message" and the take off speeds are deleted. I confirmed the new speeds and everything seems to be ok. But everytime I press the recall button, on EICAS the "FMC message" information was visible. On FMC there was no message visible. So I ignored this. After TakeOff I want to enter a FIX, which could be done without a problem. Also I could enter bearing and distance. A second FIX could also be entered. Hello Simmers, I just bought the PMDG 777-300ER Expansion and installed it as Administrator!! I choosed the plane and activated successfully. Then i started my flight but the gauges weren´t loading. I tried it multiple times but it didn´t worked. The Yoke is going to the left and the screens are black. My second problem is that i try to repaired it and now i got the message that i can´t activate it anymore because i did it to often! PERFECT!! Can anyone pleeaase help me?? Thanks ! After installing SP1, the yellow caution light still remains on and cannot be extinguished, just like in the in the pre-SP1 version. I thought SP1 was supposed to fix this problem; or, am I doing / not doing something. Any suggestions? Thanks...Malcolm Arnot
