PMDG 777

Hi everyone. Since using the pmdg 777 its been a great aircraft But I'm looking for some tips to help me with my landings. I use the Suggested speed with flaps on the approach page in the fmc. And as soon as I hear 50 feet I bring the throttles to idle and pull back on the stick. My aircraft then climbs. I then try to Undo my error and push forward and then back. So as you can see my landings are gonna be rough. Any tips on how to make smoother landings in the 777? I only have the 200lr/f base pack. Thank you all so much.

Hi all, I have been having issues installing the 777 300ER update released on Aug 8th. So I went ahead and uninstalled the 777 300 ER, removed any remaining folders pertaining to the 300ER, restarted the computer, re downloaded the 777 300ER from PMDG. After re installing, I opened the operations center and there it was again. I checked the current version and it was the old version. It shows that I have an update "again" but It will not let me install it. When I click to install it, it reverts to the page that I have no notifications. I did successfully install the 777 200LR update but when I flew the airplane, shortly after takeoff, the computer crashed …

Dear Friend, The installation of this upgrade informs that the sistem can not find the path specified directories, as follows: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ PMDG Simulations, LLC \ PMDG777-200LR / F Base Package FSX \. Hello, i just install today the new sp1b for the 777. I try to do a flight but it was not possible. I get a ntdll.dll error while i am taxing on the ground. I get this error two times with the 777 and once with the 737 NGX. Before the sp1b i have no problems with ntdll.dll errors! Does anyone have ntdll.dll error too after SP1b ? Best regards

This is not a scientifically based check but some simple observations: The weather radar in SP1 seems to be working just great with OpusFSI Beta 4.00.19 which is great! At EGLL (UK2000) with my settings unchanged, I'm getting a 4fps increase from 15 to 19 throughout the takeoff roll on 27R. With Fiber Accelerator I can get a comfortable 24 on the same roll. Process Explorer - Sysinternals is now showing VAS at 2.8 while before SP1 it was touching 3.1. Once airborne and about 10 miles out turning North, VAS drops to a very cool 2.6 (pre SP1 it was about 2.85) After installing SP1, FSX had a hard time getting started and took ages but eventually it staggered into life and …

I have bougt the expansion yesterday evening and did a flight from eham-kjfk without any problems but then on the way back i tried the time compression function up till 4x timecompression there are no problems but then is selected the 8x timecompression and the plane starts turning and it can't keep the flight path and the instruments says its turning without turning the plane can anyone help me please it'sreally anoying and it cant keep the altitude either when at 8x timecompression

What is the difference in T7 ETOPs between B773 & B77W. I know the W means ER, but I thought the all T7 was certified for 180 etops, out of the factory.

Hello, I am experiencing some oom troubles since i got the 777-300 extension and sp1a and b. I get oom when approaching OMDB scenery from flytampa. I had never oom with the scenery before. I use ASN for the weather radar. All my drivers are updated and my hardware is on top... Anybody knows what happens? Best reguards Thomas

Dear, My operation center said there is an update of 777 300ER new update available. When i push the button "Install update" OK Do you wish to download it ? then there happened notthing and there are no more notifications . When i restart de operation center he said that there is a new update available for the 777 330ER and then the same story recommences. Is there a solution for this?

Hi, I was thinking that one of the risks you run when flying through a thunderstorm in real life is being struck by a lightning, with consequent possible electrical problems (besides structural damages). I guess this is not simulated in the 777 with ASN and the lightnings are only textures appearing now and then. Has anyone thought of an interaction between the aircraft and the lightnings in a future update? Thanks.

Hi, Ryan, Robert and everyone, It seems to me that it is not necessary to delete panel states saved using the original SP1, as the PMDG-supplied panel states have not changed (by date and time modified). I have quite a few SP1 saved flights w/ panel states, including several setups for approach practice. I am sure there are others who have saved flights from SP1 as well.They still seem to work OK, with only the appearance of equipment cooling warning messages in the EICAS and on the overhead panel switch. These can be fixed by cycling the switch off and on. Thanks, Mike
