PMDG 777

Hi everyone I Had the 777 working before with no real issues. Now when I start up/ open a new flight the cockpit opens up but none of the screen or anything works. Any suggestions where to start trouble shooting? I am using windows 7

I have had this problem, with the auto-pilot, sp1 installed, and continues to have the bells and whistles when I disconnect it on final. For example coming into KIAH/Houston, on 15R, on final, ils connected at 2,000ft, now ready to descend, traveling at 170kts, atc has cleared me for landing. I disconnect AP shorltly, next thing I know the bells are ringing. What am I doing wrong?? I have read the manual, where it says to press the z key twice I am just really frustrated here!!! If anyone has the time, can they do a package for the liveries for the British Airways 77W fleet. G-STBA Boeing B777-336ER, Union Flag Livery. G-STBC, G-STBD, G-STBE Boeing B777-36NER, Union Flag Livery. G-STBF, G-STBG, G-STBH, G-STBI, G-STBJ, G-STBK and G-STBL Boeing B777-336ER, Union Flag Livery "To Fly to Serve" livery. And if you really want include G-STBB but this has been done by PMDG. Would be quite amazing seeing as BA will only have 12 of these aircraft, would be worth doing seeing as it's a small fleet.

Hey guys, I was just curious if anyone here was using a checklist for the 777 that they were happy with. I am aware of the Normal Procedures included in the PMDG documentation, however I am looking for something I can print and laminate. I am not looking for a checklist that goes over flows and expanded info, just a 2-3 page checklist from Acceptance-Secured. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

hi everyone can any simmers out there possibly help me with a problem with my 777 with sp1 i plan my flight pfpx set everything up in fmc datalink working great configure take off and landings with topcat set autoland ils approach on runway when close to airport 20 miles or so LOC armed everything ok click on APP when about 10 miles or so from runway about 1 time in 5 or 6 attempts lands perfect but more often than not engines spool up and i cant bring 777 down just flies over runway and climbs read tutorials tried different airports different distances even bringing down with vs manually nothing works can anybody tell where i am going wrong pulling whats left …

Just bought the 77w this morningb and after a day of work I finaaly have time to fly this big bord. However when I started FSGRW and transfered the weather into FSX. then run the data uplink. the route1 uplink is fine, I could also load the pref uplink, however, when it ask me wether to accept or not and I press accept. FSX crashes. Tried without FSGRW and everything's fine. Anyone got the same problem? First I want to thank pmdg for such a great set of addons, the ngx and 777 are the reason I have gotten back into fs after about 6 years off. However, after my second long haul with the 777 I was plagued by OOM issues. What would happen is the vas usage would increase over the duration of the flight, crashing my sim after about 2 hours. After much testing with the 777 I have narrowed it down to going from fullscreen to windowed mode. It seems whenever I would alt + enter I would create a memory leak. The vas usage would just go up over time. So far I have completed two flights (KIAH-PHNL and PHNL-KDEN) after these findings without any oom issues. These flights were…

Hi: I installed the Service Pack 2 for the PMDG 777-200 and also the PMDG 777-300er however, the wing is now blue and inside of the aircraft some parts are blue and the camera doesnt work. After desinstalling the whole PMDG 777 package, it worked, but after flying for a while, the aircraft returns to blue on the wings. I then desinstalled it again, but it keeps happening. I do have Direct X Installed. Does anyone have any tips? Ernesto Martinez

HELP ME! WARNING: I've placed a lot of graphics to try and give a fact-based background on my case. I've lost the ability to even do EDDF to LPPT, let alone the EHAM to KIAH that I've failed at 5 times in a row, due to VAS-ing out. Using both procexp and the FSUIPC method, I start off using around 2.8 Gig of VAS at places like EHAM and EDDF and get up to around 3.1 to 3.4 in flight. I then encounter the destination payware airport and *poof*. However, from last september until this June I would *sometimes* hear the FSUIPC early warning "ding ding" audible but not actually OOM/VAS-out. Hello forum members! I've been experiencing an odd graphics issue inside my PMDG 777 cockpit lately. The problem is that the lighted portions of the dash has a checkered black and orange-ish pattern on it. And below the glass displays, there are curving stripes across them (the stripes are orange-yellow over the black). These patterns are only presents in the front and middle dashboards and glass displays inside the cockpit. This happens during both day and night, but at night, especially with some of the lights on, the patterns appear in eye-hurting clarity... I am using a GTX770, if that may help solve the problem. I used the cold and dark start up for the first time. Was easily able to get the aircraft running. However, after pushback, I could not move the aircraft. Yes, brakes were off. I tired twice. I am running SP1. Any thoughts? Brad Rich

Hi everyone, Yesterday I tried to fly from TNCM St Martin to UUEE Moscow. The majority of the flight is over the North Atlantic. The Preflight and Departure went fine, but then when starting the oceanic legs between coordinates ( each leg being 300 Nm+) the autopilot just stopped to track the LNAV track. After 10 minutes of letting it doing it's own things it started to climb and descend and the airplane was completely out of control. I tried to reload the flight at the last " working " waypoint and used HDG SEL instead of Lnav to see if it made any difference. Hi, i have a little Bug or question. I Start withe the 777 200 or 300 at TE68 ( nuggs Flying M (pottsboro) or at KCLT. The init ends at 12 secounds,,, the Airplaine loadet but the init is not ok. I can´t load fuel.... If i start at other Airports the init go down from 16 secounds to 0,,,, and i can reload fuel... A Problem with my FSX or a Problem with the 200/300 ? The FSX can´t be close without erros. If i would open FSUIPC or GSX at the aiports where is the init stop at 12 sec... Ii seems I need 40-50% zoom level to see the instruments and the runway at the same time. I have Track IR but don't like it. I want the main instruments and the full view out the left side of the cockpit window. I have a 27" monitors, but even with that my main instrument panel is only 4" wide - way too small compared to real life view. In order to fly at 100% zoom, I think I'll need a 55" monitor!! Now remember I am not a computer guy, but can you hook up a 55" TV to a decent computer? If yes, Would it be too grainy? kill FPS? I was even thinking of a Proxima and shining it on the wall. Hi guys , I m having really big problems with this sp1 and oom ,my settings are so low in fsx i allmost can't read the displays ...autogen sparse lod in cfg 4.25, aircraft shadows off bloom off . I did a complete reinstall from FSX on DX10 , with ONLY the pmdg installed , no other addons just fsx and the 777 . 4 hours ago i completed a flight EHAM KIAH with the Original 777 rtm without the SP1 with all the settings maxed out and vas never came above 2.5 ..never . Would it be possible to have more cabin lights settings and configurations? Nowadays most airlines operating our birds use full mood lighting throughout the plane, yet only first and business have on our T7s. And maybe it would be nice to have the option of mood lighting but also full bright yellow, for on the ground for example. Would this even be possible to build or is it a little far fetched at the moment? Any ideas from you guys?

Not sure I am doing things right, but during the climb the front of the aircraft is moving up and down like a see saw. Haven't had any problem with any other PMDG products. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Mo

Hello guys so, not so long time ago the big SP1 update released for this plane. And of course i bought my favourite 300ER So, to the point. My first flight was from EKCH-OMDB. And yes i could fine make a autoland without problems with "Land 3". But today i made my next flight. OMDB-VHHH. I began to descent. And i set my apporach settings in fmc. Flaps, speed etc... And ATC said that i may land on 25R, so i go to approach page, and selecting the runway and the stars and trans. Everything seems fine. The Nav radio with ils and course was also set automatically. I'm finding that one of my gripes with the 77W is the lack of real world operators that I'd be actually interested in recreating routes with. Other than American, there just isn't much in terms of US based airlines. Has anyone created Delta or United fictional repaints yet? I've been watching Avsim and haven't seen much in terms of user created repaints as of yet. Thanks for any info,
