PMDG 777

I've installed SP1b but the PMDG Ops Center program keeps giving me a notification that there is also an update to the 300ER. Is there a separate update, or has Ops Center got its files in a twist?

I have no airframes for the PMDG 777 200, 300 and the 737NGX. Outside views are non existent. Everything else works O,K. All other Aircrafts I have do not have a problem. Any help will be much appreciated.

Since we are getting the weather radar functionality in the (hopefully) near future, can someone with real world experience enlighten us on typical airline practice for using the radar? I'm assuming that it's not on for every flight from takeoff to landing (but I could be wrong). What are the conditions that would lead the crew to turn on the radar or turn it off mid-flight? I'm guessing that flying into a SIGMET area would induce the crew to turn it on. Also, keeping it on for night flight makes sense? Thanks, Bill Rowe

For some reason (perhaps self inflicted) the freighter version isn't available in the livery download section of my OPS Center. I can download LR and 300 repaints but the freighter version is gone. Did I miss a step in the update? Did a quick search and didn't see anything.

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if it is difficult to simulate the noise reduction sound in the headset. I Explain better. Real pilots when use headset have a reduction of the sound of the engine and other noises to be able to listen perfectly the comunication of the ATC. I was wondering if it is difficult to have a soundset that when u fly online u can select to simulate the noise reducton of all the cockpit sound engine and enviroment so that to understand the ATC is a bit easier. Even if i select lower engine sound in the FSX panel and lower enviroment and cockpit the sound is always high. I would like , of course it is not difficult or a problem, to have a function that…

Hi Team, Think you could fix the small hole that appears on the left hand side of the aircraft on all 3 models in your next update? It doesn't appear on the right side. PS: any chance of locking the rudder moving when taxiing/under certain speeds?

I don't know if I have missed the RTA function prior to SP1B in the T7, because I had the somewhat stone carved opinion that RTA is not modelled. So at the risk of not telling you all something new: Just today I made my first experiments with it. It works great, also on "RTE2 copies"! :rolleyes: But remember that RTA is actually there for bringing you to a place later than FMC scheduled, because normally your CRZ speed is already close to the Mach limit. I noticed this was broke during SP1, but accordingly fixed in SP1B. However, whenever I try and put a manual fuel total in the PERF page during re-fueling, the total manual fuel reads as "0.0kg". Pretty sure I'm inputting the information correctly. Is it or me or is anyone else having this problem?

Ever since I updated to the new version 1.10.6036, my clock has been continuously off zulu/UTC time. I've gone into FSX's time/day and checked, but FSX seems to be showing the correct day & time, etc. However, my clock in the 777 has been off by about 7 1/2 hours from UTC. I've looked in the settings for each 777 setup via the Operations Center, but everything there seems okay. I am not able to refer to or rely on the clock on my panel for the correct time at all. Arrived by warp into KDEN descent distance. Noticed that the weather radar had stopped working. Before - when I put the 777 through warp flight the whole ND display lost its information too. But now only the weather radar lost function. Now travel time from :h0134: to PMDG keep up the :wub: attitude to your projects and your about 5 yrs old pilots (me too) untameable impatient for your new gifts, you are doing great work. Hi guys, Seem to be getting the msvcr80.dll ctd error with the new sp1b update everytime i start fspassengers. I've tried reinstalling fsx, resetting my pc to factory settings and even manually updating the c++ visual files. It was by doing that, that i noticed that this problem only occurs if i start fspassengers with the new sp1b update. If i roll my 777 installation back to the original release or indeed use any other plane, the msvcr80.dll error doesn't occur. Does the new sp1b package update the c++ visuals in any way? Is there anything that can be done? Any help is greatly appreciated

I get this error two times with the 777 and once with the 737 NGX. Before the sp1b i have no problems with ntdll.dll errors! Does anyone have ntdll.dll error too after SP1b ? Best regards

We all know the 777 always has condensation, especially around those 110/5B's! Could you possibly add condensation on the Engines and wings or not possible? I saw it on my IRIS F-15 and looks so good! Cheers

Hello 777-captains out there, I recently updated the 77L and the 77W (SP1b as recommended by RSR). Afterwards I ran the EZCA configurator and also had to set up my cockpit views again. I did a flight from EDDL to LTBA (taxi2gate) and everything worked great - also with ASN and the weather radar. Still I noticed a strange issue I didn't have before (SP1): when turning on the taxi cam the airframe textures don't load correctly. I know that this function is a fps killer, but I also used the cam before and after some time everything was displayed correctly. First I thought this was due to heavy scenery (LTBA by taxi2gate as mentioned above), but I also tried a non-addon-air…

I noticed in my config file for the 777F, there is no config text, only the repaint info. Is it suppose to be that way? Update. Uninstalled and reinstalled everything. Seems to have fixed the issue.

Has anyone attempted to hook an iPad or similar tablet up to FS as an additional monitor? You can purchase an app in order for windows to recognize it as a monitor; and I was thinking it may be cool to throw the pedestal or CDU/ECL undocked view onto it. That'd reduce some of the looking back and forth panning on EZdok. Think it'll work and be worth the trouble?
