PMDG 777

After installing SP1 I started having crashes again upon ESC out of the flight and then EXIT FSX. FSX would hang forever in some corner, graphically messed up, and would not close. Only Ctrl Alt Del would close it, but then with an error warning. It seems that after installing SP1 something has happened that causes the crashes on exit to reappear. This is a fact, because I had my crashes solved with FSUIPC on the original PMDG777 version, then installed SP1 and had crash on exit again. Then I reinstalled Win7 and FSX from a PRE SP1 backup image I had taken about 3 weeks ago and everything was fine again. (took 20min, nice ;-) Then I installed SP1 again....and yep…

Good Day My saitek right trrothele is not in the idle position when launching my T7, i ve start checking my both setting saitek/Fsx without any results, then i said this happen since my Recent update xxxx63, i ve procced with new installation only for the 773 Er and noticed that the throtle back to the right idle position, i ve made one first flight to test and it was perfect.... But for the second test flight my the issue was there again with the plane at the gate, i al sure if i ll proceed again with another re installation of the update i ll see that the trothle will be at the right position but this will work only for one flight. Dear PMDG, you have certainly done this to me. I can no longer fly NGX 737 because of the Weather Radar...It pains me to say this but It has become some sort of a malady. I know you are focused on fixing up issues introduced by SP1b of 777 but the wait for NGX weather radar is like being dead and awaiting resuscitation. I am also convinced, that many like me, will be willing to cheap in 10$ to 15$ for a "special service pack" NGX SP that would include the weather Radar integrated with ASN. The table for Trip fuel and time required with Step Climb provided in FCOM section PD for the 777F provides landing weights between 150 to 230 kg. However, the max landing weight of the 7F is about 261. Is there a table or method to calculate fuel burn at max landing weight? As is, we can only predict fuel burn up to about 0.83 load factor.

So imagine one day you're flying and you see this: And this is after doing everything(including reinstalling the 777), but reinstall ASN.(those of you who use it know that there's a limit to how many times you can reinstall it and I only do reinstalls as a absolute last resort) I have been studying this behavior and did some experiments and found that with each sweep of the radar, I got different(sometimes old) returns mixed with new ones. Hello im currently working on a american repaint an got stuck when it comes to creating a matt finish on the front wheel dors and on the area under fuselage betwen the wings . The problem is that when creating the specfiles the area that i make matt finish is repeating itself backwards on the fuselage. Let me explain when i create a spec dds for fuselage2 with a matt area (alpha) for the area betwen the wings it shows up also on fuselage 3 in fsx making a matt area on fuselage 3 wich shuld be coplete gloss. I tried hundreds of things to fix it without luck any idea what to do? Thanks Rolf

Hi everybody, I've got a problem when I start FSX with PMDG 777-300ER add-on. When I go in FMC menu "PMDG SETUP", "AIRCRAFT" and "FAILURES", "ACTIVE: 1" is still set and tell me that wheels and brakes has problem. The result is at landing : brakes and parking brakes are not working even if I do the maintenance or if I repair all brakes before take off. Is it a bug ? How to make this T7 flight properly and delete definitively this FAILURE for the next flights ? Thanks and regards. Olivier.

Hey, Im having a little issue with downloading the update for the 777-300er from OC. Everytime I click on "OK" to start the download the window disappears and Im on the normal window with where it says "You have no notficaions". Any help ? Hi The other day I was on the ground a OMDB Dubai preparing to fly the 777-300 ER to Manchester EGCC. The outside air temp was 43 degrees celsius. The fuel temp was also +43 degrees and the fuel temp was indicated in amber. After take off and as expected the fuel temp slowly dropped. When it reached + 41 the temp figure then turned white. Out of interest I have just checked FCOMv2 chapter 20 where under the title fuel temperature it says the following "The temperature is normally displayed in white. It is displayed in amber when the fuel temperature approaches the fuel freeze temperature entered on the flight management system CDU." There is no mention of the fue…

How do I disable to Master sound siren that comes on in the 777? Resettable siren is currently on, but this did not work. I pressed shift+crtl+Z and still nothing. I tried to disable the auto disengage using MCP and button on sterring...waiting for at least 2-3sec before I pressing a second time and still does not work. Also tried right clicking the toga button on mcp and throttle twice, but that annoying sound just wont go away. The only way to make it silent was to reduce the sound in the FMC down to zero, but this disables all the clickable sounds as well. I took the advice from others having the same problem on this forum but none of the options worked for me. This is…

I posted to the support many times the problem beside other problems like starting without landing gears and black displays for a week and nobody answered me? Hello, after a couple of flights I noticed that die 300ER burns significantly too less fuel. I've compared that with EK OFPs (10%+) including a 1.5-2.5 BIAS as well as with PFPX OFPs (5-10%) with 0 BIAS. Both show a huge difference in fuel burn compared to the sim. EET was similar. In most cases the flight was even longer than planned! For example I'm right now cruising over South China Sea at FL360 and having a fuel burn of appr. 6,7t/h. PFPX has an evaluation tool included. Folks I will confess now, I'm a merely adequate sim airliner driver who gets from Point A to Point B without delving too deeply beyond a skim of the manuals and a couple or runs through the tutorial flight... I was doing my practice run between VRMM and VCBI. My sixth flight in the Triple. It's an hours flight that Emirates use 77Ws on in both directions: right livery on right plane on rw route: check. I was descending into Colombo and the weather radar was reading pretty red. I pressed on, accepting it would get pretty bumpy (got to love ASN). Hi all, I was flying from KSFO to NZAA today in time 4x acceleration mode, I have had this happen in normal time as well, and once or twice noticed all the vc cockpit animations would stop responding to my mouse clicks. I cycled through the views as suggested in the forums and all is well again. FSX didn't crash or stop working and now I use DX10 I don't appear to getting any more OOM's either so this 13hrs flight is probably my longest 777 one to date. When I went back into the vc I noticed that the things I had clicked on while I appeared to have no animations had now moved to where they would be if the animations hadn't frozen. No one has missed it, i guess, with the PMDG 777, vas-usage has become a big deal. If I am not mistaken any addon scenery, for example an aerosoft addon airport, has a fixed toll on vas-usage. Flying from aerosofts EDDF to UK2000 Heatrow X I painfully became aware of that!! ....woops, FSX says OOM. So, would it not be essential if developers not only talk about impact on framerates, but also the vas-usage of their product? It is a constant value you could keep in mind, if you decide to use one of them. I think addon developers should give this information, not just about fantastic framerates! I set up a flight with FL 34000. Before Take off I checked the legs page and found that by page 2 or 3 the FL had gone up to 38000! I left the MCP at 34000 as planned. when top of descent appeared on the nav. display I set the MCP to 3000. At the TD the vertical path deviation showed no deviation but the plane did not start to descend for a long time. when it did descend, all went well to landing. I repeated the flight after re-booting and the same thing happened again.This time I set the MCP to 38000.When into cruise at 38000 I had to go out, so I saved the flight..
