Hi, I am trying to test the logic behind the A/T . When i am in THR mode ,LOC and V/S and switching to FLCH and then put the A/P off AND F/D off in left side and manual move the throttle back the A/T goes mad and increases the engine and accelerate beond speedlimit in MCP (180) to overspeed still in THR mode. I have the new panelstates. The 777 is not in Holdmode at any time which does not have speed protection in VNAV SPD and FLCH Thanks Michael

I was led to believe here in this forum that the 3 buttons on the glareshield ie: ACPT, CANC, RJCT are linked to the Datalink system (this was prior to SP1 being released). Since the release of SP1 and the few added functionalities with Datalink, is there any chance PMDG will update these 3 buttons to become functional? Therefore, we will have the choice to use the 3 buttons on the glareshield or the CDU buttons.

PMDG 777 tech reps; I'm having a series of problems. Even after a fresh FSX reinstall, PMDG 777 install, eventually the aircraft acts strange. All other aircraft act normal. For the longest time PMDG 777 with all service packs worked correctly. Here are the problems; 1.) At random my throttles will advance or engine rpms will advance to full 100% on their own but not isolated only to PMDG 777. wondering if there is a fix for that or a bug in FSX. 2.) Main issue: Recently after I just did a fresh FSX reinstall and reinstalled all my aircraft including PMDG 777. Now after about an hour or more into the flight on Auto pilot, the aircraft will start to fly o…

I still haven't got around to add Active Sky and try to get the Weather Radar set up. I am debating if it is worth the effort and if I'll ever use it (considering I fly with clear skies 90% of he time). Anyone else chose not to mess with this feature?? Why?

Didn't find one so was playing around in Photoshop. Hope some of you can enjoy it:) I'm not a pro whatsoever.... Hi, I found that it's quite hard to trim the T7 because of the blip trim trigger : * at initial climb after flaps retraction, target speed is 250 KIAS, so i often add +5 tks to the trim speed reference(TSR), but as the speed is increasing and is within 5kts of the TSR, each time I trim, the blip trim enters into action , so the the pitch attitude suddently goes up, then i increase the TSR and re increase that the blip trim tale over ...... I don't know how the pilots deals with this in real life, but for me it will be more easy and intuitive to like doudle tap quicky the trim swithces if the PF wants the blip trim to enter in action. of course lets say the spe…

Hello, When I give a heading select command, the aircraft gives a light shock or bump. The same happens on activating LNAV mode. What could be the cause of this. FYI, I use a registered FSUIPC software (latest version). Sincere regards, Nico Dhondt

Hi guys I've a problems of my PMDG777 with SP1 When I adjustment IAS HDG V/S and ALTITUDE of MCP panel knob with mouse wheel,the mouse wheel can't be scroll on knob,but that can use in the panle below MCP somewhere. Is that a bug?How can I fix't? I try to reinstall the FSX and PMDG,but that still not work. thanks for your help

Hi Im not sure if this has been answered before but I could not find a post related to exactly what I have in my mind and what Im experiencing therefore I though ill post to see if the community would know something. Firstly, I use EZdok Camera with all my Aircrafts and so far have not experienced any issues. I use the same camera set that I have on the NGX and apply that to all aicrafts and just make minor adjustments in setting the camera positions. Hi, I remember the 737 took " ages " before reaching taxi speed after landing after having idled the throttles, applied reverse thrust, auto speed brakes set on 2, manual brakes etc. Now the 777 despite its weight can land on a carrier deck, it can slow down in 1/4 or 1/3 of runways! medium-long ones. Question : in the reality, does it really slow down in blink of an eye like pmdg 777 ( auto brakes 2 f.i. ) or is it slightly exagerate now vs the 737 that was slightly exagerate in the opposite way i feel ? Thanx in advance above all to real pilots answers but all opinions are appreciated

Hi When I'm in cruise at say FL320 with the PMDG 777-300ER. The autopilot levels the plane of at FL320 and then it climbs to FL330 and then descends back down to FL310 and then climbs again and repeats the process. This also happens in both VNAV and Alt Hold modes. It just doesn't seem to want to hold the altitude when in cruise. I've tried deleting FSUIPC.ini and it hasn't seem to work. Has anyone else seem to have this issue? I've never had this problem occur with the PMDG 777-200LR and I've had it since the day it came out, it's only seem to happen on my last few flights with the 300ER I use ASN and Sim Physics X Thanks

Hello Pilots, So far I am amazed at the changes and added features in SP1/300ER, however my issue relates to the 300ER specifically. My issue is that I cannot edit the cruise altitude on the PERF INIT page. As shown in the following screenshots... I get an INVALID ENTRY message when trying to put 330 into the cruise altitude The following screenshots show that there is no information on the legs page and as a result I can not engage VNAV. Hi, let's say I have a takeoff thrust of 93.4% N1. I advance throttles to 60%, then press TOGA and the thrust is set at 93.4. After reaching 80 knots (HOLD), the thrust slowly increases, 93.5.... 93.6.... 93.7.... 93.8....more or less 0.1 every 1-2 seconds. This is not normal, isn't it? Ah, this can't be a throttle calibration problem, because it also happens with the keyboard, no joysticks at all! Anyone encountered this problem? Thanks. UPDATE: I think it is a bug to be corrected, the first takeoff video I found on Youtube has this problem. From a takeoff thrust of 89.7 there is a constant thrust increase to 90.0 and above. Hello, I am experiencing some oom troubles since i got the 777-300 extension and sp1a and b. I get oom when approaching OMDB scenery from flytampa. I had never oom with the scenery before. I use ASN for the weather radar. All my drivers are updated and my hardware is on top... Anybody knows what happens? Best reguards Thomas

I purchased the awesome 777 this past weekend and had absolutley NO ISSUES. After reading the documentation ( Which is KEY) ! I did a Cold & Dark start-up and succesfully executed an Auto Land at destination, all without one hiccup!. Just wanted to pass that along & to say im very happy with the 777 as i am with the 737 NGX! Cannot wait till FS2CREW for the 777 is released! Great Plane PMDG!!

Hey guys, I've had the 777 for over 4 months now and I've had the hang of it quite well now. As most of us, I downloaded the SP1. However since then, my aircraft's VNAV had been acting quite strange, The climbs are very weak and I can't get past the 1000 FPM climb if I'm to avoid stalling.what I think happed is that when I derate my takeoff using an assumed temp. it derates all the performance not only the takeoff. For instance I'm currently flying a flight with 60% payload =ZFW 414 and 45,000 Lbs of fuel. I've had an assumed temp (On the Thrust Lim page) of 55 degrees which derated the thrust to around 93% which is more than plentiful for takeoff, but won't allow me …

Flying EGLL-WSSS today, I encountered a rain storm over southern Thailand. I managed to skirt around the biggest storm and continued my journey successfully.
