PMDG 777

Now to begin i have for alittle while now been trying to get into the habit of deactivating all the sceneries in FSX and only leaving the 2 airports im departing from and arriving at activated. I also use AI Cull and have my settings for traffic at a more than acceptable level seeing as i cancel out boats and ships and airport vehicles. I have the wonderful PMDG 777 and Simwings Heathrow 2014 installed. However it is literally impossible with all of these alterations when trying to help the sim i cannot for the life even get past Windsor without OOM! Like seriously what am i doing wrong? Do i have to sacrifice everything to get this plane to touch the runway tarmac?! …

when the center hydraulic system fails and alternate gear extensin is used to lower the gear, the main gear shouldn't be able to tilt. however, it tilts now. please fix this issue. --Dongki Yu

Hi guys. This might be a noob or silly question. But how do you disable glidslope callout? Its really annoying when i land. I tend to glide the plane low and slow most of the times and im already accustomed to it. I just want to disable the callout. Anybody know how?

When starting the T777 with engines off, with Ivap and starting up the radio is Always on 136.97 in the Ivap panel the same happen with Vatsim using V-pilot. I can not change the radio to another freq. it automatic turns back to 136.97. When i starting up with running engines i dont have these problems. Hope somebody can help me with this. Hi everyone, I looked over the internet for a full detailed 777 FMC guide or tutorial, found nothing but 737 FMC guide (pdf). As we all know, the FMC is the brain of the airplane and when you understand it, you understand almost 70% of your bird. Yes we can fly the 777 anywhere by knowing the basics of the FMC. But still. Ok I was about to turn final at PHNL after a 8 hour flight from ORD when suddenly I lost all control of the plane(I was hand flying it)It started with a shallow turn to the left IE the airport so I figured the auto pilot had enaged somehow so I tried to disconnect it nothing. I have been experiencing fatal crashes with my PMDG 777 recently. My Computer: Windows 8 i7 Processor (Let me know if you need more to find the solution) Crashes: KIAH-KSFO: Crashed while saving the flight EGLL-EDDF: Froze in midair, during cruise and crashed FSX Settings: Using the PMDG recommended settings A solution to this problem will be very well appreciated! Hi. I have been trying to find documentation on how to make the weather radar in the 777-300 work. From what I can find on the internet, it says to read the SP1 Supplement documentation to see how to make it work. The trouble is I can't find the SP1 Supplement anywhere. Not in my PMDG Ops Center or on the internet. So, just wondering if anyone has an idea on where I can find this document. I emailed PMDG a few days ago but not response. I am sure they are very busy. Occasionally, on spooling up for take off I'm receiving a red flag warning on the upper DU "Stabilizer Configuration". As far as I can tell, everything has been configured correctly including trim. I was not able to locate this problem here in the forum, or in the documentation. Appreciate any assistance. PS: this is in relation to my 777-200 which has all the relevant updates.

Why ever since I installed the SP-1 patch and the 300ER has my external views only and on PMDG aircraft only just show only skeleton views of the aircraft . I have run the EZCA confifg tool

My PMDG 777 has been crashing with FSX. I am running on Windows 8 and have an i7 processor. When opening up FSX, I got high CPU usage alerts. Two of my recent flights crashed KIAH-KSFO: Crashed when saving the flight EGLL_EDDF: Froze in cruise and crashed Does anybody have a solution to this? Hello I just have three questions about three different things B) First what is the different between DIR INTC and the ABEAM point SELECTED ? what the best method can i do to intercept the radial or make a direct ? I know intercept a radial using the FIX page and TRK on the MCP, i also use the DIR INTC function to do the same with LNAV entering the good CRS. But what i don't know is how use ABEAM point properly ^_^ The second question is on the THRUST page pourcent limit, what do you put on this page for short and long haul flight ? (To1 - To2) Actually i put 60% but i would like to know what do you use to see if im wrong or not. …

Hi is this normal for the 777er. I did tutorial flight same as the 777LR. I did the same fuel a weight the trim value not the same instead of 2.75 was set at 5.75. Is it because the airline is slightly longer then the 777LR or is it a bug?

What do you guys use for landscape addons? I looked at Rex4 and Rex Essential w/OD, but they both appear to be airports, clouds, water and sky. Any suggestions? (Already run Active Sky Next, FYI)

Hello!!! I´m a big fan of the PMDG T7. Usually i´m starting this bird from cold and dark, but i red that no pilot will ever see a T7 in a Cold and Dark State, is this true? I red that aircraft mechanics checking the aircraft before every flight and they conecting the GPU, starting the battery and electrics. Hmm... i´m a little bit confused but it´s logical, i think. Can you tell me which panel state should i use to get the most real experience? Please tell me which systems are already on if the flightcrew enter the cockpit (GPU - ON, Battery - ON....). On entering the data into the FMC I always receive a maximum altitude of 32,400 and a take of speed of 181 knots. This always occurs no matter what the payload is etc. Could anyone assist as I am obviously doing something incorrect. I use PFPX for my flight planning and the data is of course automatically saved to the PMDG 777. I look forward top receiving some guidance. MIchael

B777-300ER SP1b (1.00.6061) shows that it is available in PMDG Ops Center, but it will not download from Ops Center. Also, I cannot locate this update on PMDG's website. Reviewing my read-me files in the FSX PMDG folders, I appears that I have Ver 1.00.6036 RTM version installed. How do I obtain SP1b for the B777-300ER? Thanks! Rich Boll Wichita, KS

Ever since I Installed the SP1 and the 777-300 I am unable to use the 777. I just uninstalled everything...and re installed the following 1) The original 777-200 file that I had. 2) the SP1 3) the 777-300 Every time I am at an airport and I fly out and leave the viscinity of the airport, I get kicked out of FSX. Hmmm.. PS: No these are not VAS errors.

I thought I saw someone else post this same issue. However, when I came back to the forum, after verifiying that I do indeed have a problem, I have not been able to find the post. Sorry if this is a duplicate posting (if that's the case). Anyway, I've got both -200 & -300 models, with current updates installed, according to the ops center. My problem is that when I select "Request Route/or routing" button, FSX immediately crashes. This has happened at least three times today already. I'm not sure if this topic has already been posted...I tried to do a search but could not find any relevant information. Just purchased/installed the PMDG 777. So far, I haven't been able to enjoy a flight yet...the Autopilot keeps disengaging for no apparent reason. Prior to purchasing/installing the PMDG 777, I had the MS-FSX controllers disabled for all my aircrafts and used FSUIPC exclusively for yoke, pedal and throttle control (all CH products). I've read there may be issues with the PMDG T7 using FSUIPC. I've disabled my FSUIPC controls (programming) for the T7 and I've gone back to the MS FSX controllers for this aircraft. Dear all So far not very many issues, suddenly I had issues where FSX would crash at around 91-94% of loading the flight. Another time I changed gates at the preflight stage and then while loading the sim crashed.
