PMDG 777

Air Transat operate A330 and A310 aircraft but is there a fictional livery out there for the 777? Thanks!

hi guys, Not sure if this is s bug or it's a realistic feature, but when the spoilers are extended the sound in the VC is noticeably muffled. Is this supposed to happen?

I am having issues with the aircraft and textures. I will be in CRZ for a good while and any adjustment to the FMC causes a lock of the sim. Also if I hit left alt to bring up the menu, there will be no words or texture. Once this happens, I know if I adjust the view using A or S, I will experience serious texture issues. I will loose the plane or the scenery or both. I may loose it all or just parts of the texture. I have tried to replicate this with other aircraft and I experience no issues. I will post some screenshots. Thanks for any help.

So I noticed that my pmdg T7 has no runways, sids and stars for EBBR, I tried reinstalling the T7, the current Airac (1410) the EBBR scenery and nothing helps. I even reverted to airac 1409 with no luck. I only have this with the T7, my pmdg 747/737/md11 work fine

Hi guys, I am doing a clean install, I have bought the 777-200LR, 300ER, and have the patch 1b downloaded as well. What is the correct order to install ? Is it 200LR, 300-ER and patch 1b OR 200LR, patch 1b and 300-ER ? Thanks Hari

Back again, I tried using the suggestions but still have the same problem would I be better to delete all reference to PMDG 700 and reinstall or could this be something not related to pmdg my PMDG 777-200LR/F plane only showing partly, not all there, all other plane images look to be ok, I am in windows FSX the circling image of the plane loads as it normally does in FSX but it is all broken up like it was the framework of the plane this only happens with the PMDG image, stan

During cockpit prep prior to takeoff, the Autobrake switch will not stay in the RTO position > it returns to the off position. Setting the autobrakes while in flight (for landing prep) functions normally. This is a very recent development. Any ideas regarding what may be causing this will be appreciated. THe title says it all. The Aeromexico 77L repaint has a Star Alliance sticker on the fuselage. It should be a Skyteam sticker. Maybe that could be corrected and updated. Thansk for an otherwise absolutely wonderful plane. Chris

I understand that without TOPCAT support, we cannot know the recommended takeoff flap settings to be used for a flight, so we usually just default to flaps 5. Has anyone had a takeoff where a takeoff flaps setting of greater than 5 has been necessary? Cheers, Richard

Hey, When switching from "HDG" to "TRK" mode in the MCP, the ND doesn't adjust accordingly. So let's say, we are flying on "HDG" mode and select HDG360. And we have a wind from 090 at 100kts. Our Track should be closer to like 330 or something. When I switch over to "TRK" mode, I expect the centre line of the ND to read 330, and right now, it doesn't adjust. This wasn't the case before the SP release and 777-300ER release, so I wonder if it was simply an oversight? Or maybe something is wrong with my setup. Thanks!

I bought the PMDG777 yesterday. I got problem with serial number when I open the FSX, it didn't ask me for the serial number which leads to the black screen of VC. Any solution? Please advise. Thanks!

Hi everyone, Lately i installed a livery form the OP. The livery is Aerologic ( ithink not the one form PMDG but one form avsim). Well during preflight i set all the FMC as usuall inserting the route runway in use SId start arrival runway and so on set the flex temp the flap to use and i was waiting for the allignment. After the FMC was alligned i had a message on the FMC refering the V spped were not aviable. I was thinking well it is not important i insert them by hand but actually any kind of speed i add i received an Invalid format or something like this message. What can cause the problem? To inset the speed manually i even tried to set the selct ref speed to OF…

So I upload the winds into my 777. It seems after I upload the winds, I get the same identical wind data for the entire route. For example, If the next fix's wind is 140 degrees at 55 knots, the entire route will be populated with this information. I think I liked the old way better where It would just use the PFPX and AS2012 to populated the winds in the FMS. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have been enjoying the use of the FSiPanel tool to practice approaches with the PMDG 777. Naturally, I have been disengaging autopilot to fly the approach manually to gain the most benefit from such an experience, having established on the localizer and glideslope. As an experiment I have been comparing the relative merits of an Airbus A320 with the 777 in such approaches under conditions of zero wind to assess the handling qualities of both aircraft. Just tried to load a cargo livery and keep getting the message 'livery will not start' I've tried all cargo liveries and get this message with all liveries. The normal passenger liveries load ok I have the most up to date patch, and run FSX in administrator mode. Any ideas what is the issue ? Thanks Pete Marsh

Hello Everyone, I hope you all are having a good day. I'm not sure if anyone knows what I should do, but, I bought the 777 back in September of last year but havent been able to use it (or try to) until now due to computer issues and lack of funds. I havent given out my code to anyone but when I try to activate it in the FSX free fight area, I get an error. (Invalid activation ID :XXXXXXXXXXXXXX [ Incident# 8296-219883] ) I submitted a support ticket on the 27th and have yet to hear back, which is understandable due to the mass quantities of people. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is is something I have to wait for PMDG to help me with? Thanks guys…

Hi I asked the autobreak issue before, after reinstall the FUCIP and PMDG 777. Now the autobreak works in 2 situation. 1) ILS auto land 2) Manual Landing with autothrottle is set OFF However, when I perform manual landing with autothrottle is set ON, the autobreak disarm immediate after touch down. (During the test, I just use a keyboard and mouse. No axis used for throttle, just F1 F2 F3 F4, mouse not being use as yoke) My question is: 1 )Do autothrottle not in IDLE when FLARE, as i know the autobreak will disarm when the throttle is not in IDLE position. 2) Do i need to setup in PMDG menu, there are 2 option which are A/T manual override and A/T Flare…

So I was practicing manual landings and low fuel situations in the 77W when the right engine had a serious failure (can't recall which item went out), oil temperature was rising and I decided to shut it down. Then landed immediately and did a maintenance via the CDU's appropriate menu. Then during the preflight checklist of the next flight I noticed that the rudder trim was to the right by 0.3 units. Checked the rudder trim indicator and it showed accordingly. I then clicked the manual trim cancel button but nothing happened. Does anybody know why I would be getting an out of memory crash when flying the 777s? Its the only aircraft that does that. After about 4 1/2 hours, I start getting what sounds like the windows error sound, that lasts for about a 1/2 hour then I get a pop us that says you have ran out of memory, please close FSX. I am using FSX and Windows 7 64
