PMDG 777

For some reason the Auto Brake is not working, any suggestions? And yes, before anybody asks, it is a legal copy. Thought I would get that out of the way, because I am sure some bonehead will ask, because they think whenever somebody has a problem, they don't have a legal copy. LOL

When attempting to run the update I get an error about half way through that reads "the system cannot find the path specified". I see no way to manually find or change the path, though I believe it's correct. Also, the flight deck is now half black textures, and half normal in appearance. Any idea how to fix this short of a complete reinstall? Thanks.

Prior to the update this issue wasn't happening, since the update, the aircraft cannot hold a particular altitude, fluctuating by between 100-300 ft either side, never allowing the flight compression to take place. As mentioned this did not happen prior to the update and nothing else has changed on my system. I did have a problem installing the update and had to uninstall the 773 & 777LR and then re-install them again. I have noticed something else, on the FMC the winds are reading what I would expect, such as on my current leg at 33000ft, 303/60Kt, whereas on the map on the MCP shows of 007/09kts and that doesn't seem to change. Dear all, I used Operation Center for backup all texture of my 77w, after restoring I found some issues. When I open the gear viewer (CAM) inside cockpit, all texture is back, there any way different than reinstalling to solve ? Thanks all.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to throw something in the group and see what you think. I have Saitek yoke and throttles (and rudder pedals). My issue with the B777 is the following: As long as the engines are not running my physical throttle levers command the throttles in the sim perfectly. From the moment both engines are started, moving my physical levers does still move the levers in the sim but they snap straight away back to idle. I can control the levers using F2-F3 and then they do not snap back to idle. In the simulation options I have A/T override option set to: "in hold mode only", I've tried changing it to "never" and "always" but that doesn't change anything. …

Yesterday I installed the SP1C on my 77W and today when I loaded the plane, I realized that all of my EZDOK cameras was missing, so I had to reimport them. When I finished the Virtual cameras and moved in to the aircraft cameras, I noticed that there weren't any outside textures. But when I press the F11 (the default MSFS locked spot view) the textures are shown. Everything was working perfectly before the SP1C. Any ideas? Elimar Bossini Piratelo

Hi! I have bought 777-300 expansion. But whaen I tried to intsll it I saw this What I need to do?

When I go into the PMDG settings of the cdu, under sound, when I click for the different adjustments ie, background, controls, nothing happens. This was even before the c update. I looked at the manuel again and nothing is really clarified as to how to change the settings. It just says that they can be changed. Gnacino

Dear all; Recently set up FSUIPC to manage my controls and have been taxy-ing around testing it. Engine oil overheated during my tests and both engines failed (no idea why? Automatic failure?) I cleared failures in the FMC. 2 questions- is there a failure rate programmed into PMDG 777? 2) Most important: I throttle up both engines- and on the EFIS it shows my thrust setting on both, but only the right engine spools up. The left engine is running, however, The left engine is also showing an amber light on 'bleed air' Any thoughts?

I just started recieving R4.scv file missing error when starting FSX, and RAAS (locked version) is not working on the 777. Should I reinstall both LR and ER? Thanks

I was just reading some suggested practice activities to improve landing skills, and one of the suggestions was to practice touch and gos without letting the nose wheel touch the runway. This article was directed to GA training, I was wondering if this would be practical for a 777 or not? Richard

Hi, I have done the update SP1C also updated my NVIDIA drivers and, suddenly, my 777s become invisible. Only the VC remains visible from the outside. I have done a few checks in forums and have checked the HIGHMEMFIX=1 which is indeed present in my fsx.cfg. What else can I check to get the visual model back? Thanks, Fred

Greetings, I've been enjoying the heck out of the 777 since it was released, and just about flying the wings off her! However, this week I have come across some odd behavior while operating into and out of Keflavik, Iceland. I've included both cases below: Scenario 1: Keflavik Approach and landing last night. I did my usual flight from Moncton to Keflavik in the 777 for the first time last night (usually in an MD-11). Hi, I've a problem with PMDG and FSX since a few days, and I don't know what's really wrong here. I had the same problem on others locations around the world (and obviously with other weathers scenarios) My FSUIPC it's the 4.937 registered, with WX optiones turned off. Hi, I have a i7-920, running at 3.8GHz and with Hyperthreading enabled. I included AffinityMask=84 under JOBSCHEDULER in the fsx.cfg file. When I started the flight with PMDG 777-300ER, there was no sound in the cockpit, but outside views, there is sound, but a bit muffled. Has anyone else experienced this ?. I used a Logitech 5.1 system, and I tried it under 5.1 as well as Stereo, by changing settings in the control panel, but still no sound. Once I remove the affinitymask entry and restart the sim, the sound returns. Thanks Hari

Just wondering if anyone knows the status of fs2crew for the 777?

There is some confusion about the differences between a simple flight plan, ETOPS and redispatch; when one would be preferred over another; and indeed whether anything beyond a simple flight plan is even a requirement for flight simulating. This package may help. It contains 4 files - 3 flight plans and an explanatory document. Save the documents if you wish to use them. I hope that you get some fun from it. Cheers, Richard

Hi, The issue i have is that when i load my 777 it loads perfectly in high resolutions and full-screen mode but as soon as i open and then close any dialogue box or menu such as the navigation log or fspassengers x window then i loose sight of the aircraft it and the textures of the surrounding terrain covers the whole screen and becomes blurry, although i can still hear the aircraft and atc but no matter what i do it doesn't brings the aircraft back to its normal view.
