PMDG 777

My 777 is stuck with a barometric reading of 29.92 which creates a problem with landings at airports with readings different from the default standard reading. This leads to hard landings on VAFS flights with my virtual airline. When the plane was installed this was not a problem, but at some point in the last month it appeared. I can't think of anything I might have done to cause it. Any solutions, please. Ben Metcalfe

Hi all, I was looking for something pertaining to the 777 (can't remember what now) and I came across this 777 simulator training document from V Australia. The request is then sent but after a few moment I receive the following reply .... Invalid Forecast Uplink ........ I am have ActiveSky Next installen and fully working. Approximately how far how do you decide to "dial in" your speed to start slowing down through the "flap phases" ? Seems I run into issues when dialing the speed down, that the AP kicks in VNAV Speed (instead of path), forcing the plane to slow down by leveling off, causing me to come in a bit high in the flight path. Or is the only way to combat this is to use the speedbrakes? (Which I have been doing.. but trying to find a more gradual way of slowing down). Thanks.

The real altitude is in the larger display. The original display remains frozen Anyone else having an issue?

Hi all, I have some serious problem with T7. After I installed latest SP, the plane has nose down by 2.5 degrees during climb. I did the whole plane setup as requested, and it has never happened before. I have set the correct trim value of course. Can someone point me at some direction where to look? Thanl you!

Hi guys Long time unsent from these columns due to sickness but I am back. Now I have installed the Service Pack 1C for my PMDG 777 and I have noticed that the operation of the FMC has changed a bit. Is there a write up somewhere or a video of how the FMC should work now after the Service Pack 1C? Also I have noticed that before the service pack, when the autopilot was disengaged you could silence the buzzer sound by pressing CTRL SHIFT Z Now since the service Pack this doesn't work. Just purchased the 777 by the way is a beautiful aircraft. Preparing for the first flight and do not want to damage the 777. Reading the 777 Introduction and the manuals. Is it ok to pause and save a long distance flight while in the air? Like to save the flights every 5 hours by pausing the flight/save/close FSX/Start FSX/resume the saved flight at the point the flight was saved puts the 777 in a specific location at cruise speed and altitude with electronics on? Normally do Long Distance Flights. 14 to 20 hours long. In the manual talks about VAS section 0.00.31 and using a registered version of FSUIPC you can use the FSUIPC Meter. Some what interested in?…

Dear 777 pilots Yesterday I accidentally formatted my whole C: drive, which had FSX and the PMDG 777 on it. I read in a topic that the PMDG 777 product key works on 2 computers if used by the same person, and if I planned on reinstalling it then I can go into the FMC and click "deactivate product", allowing me to install it on another computer or the same computer after reinstallling FSX. Anyway, my question is, since I lost my whole FSX and did not deactivate my product via the FMC, am I still using 1 of my available 2 simultaneous uses for my product key or has it reset to 0. If it has not reset to 0, is there a way through the PMDG support system where …

Hi. I was doing some automatic missed approach training in EGLL on 27L when i came across an issue that i seem to remember i had in the earlier NGX days.that sometimes the 777 micro pauses just. Prior to land and when aural messages is spoken. Was it an issue we just had to live with or was there a solution? Or is it only on my system? It does not happened very often but kind of spoil the experience. It must be related to sound i guess Thanks Michael

Hi guys, I'm hoping to purchase the PMDG 777 from their website today!! However, all the prices are in dollars. When I created my account I said I was from the UK. Why wont the prices show in pounds. Dear PMDG, is it possible to give us the option for the SATCOM-Antenna for the 777-200LR: This antenna is really "sexy" and a lot of airlines are going to build these antennas on their 777´s for getting WIFI etc. There will be more and more real -200 Models with this antenna in the future! I saw this antenna at the very first preview pics of your T7 and i can´t really understand why you´re disabled this option.

Dear simmers, I can perfectly see the exterior model when in outside view, but switching to cockpit view, looking and moving from the inside in order to see the wings and the rest of the fuselage only shows the shadow of the aircraft on the ground and a floating cockpit! I can't even see the reflection of the strobes on the ground from the inside, unlike the NGX where everything works perfectly. Is anyone else having the same problem? How can I fix this? Thanks! Hello, I'm planning to buy T7 because it's a great plane, am i wrong ? Question: -It's too expensive for me ($90 = 210 Turkish Lira. Almost 1/4 of minimum wage in Turkey). Can i buy it with my partner? I meant can we combine our moneys $40 by $40 then activate it in both of our computers? As I heard, we can activate it in 2 computers at the same time. Hi Before 777 SP "C" and ASN SP1 my radar during storm was showing vivid visualization with many red areas. Now after latest PMDG and ASN updates my radar is hardly showing something. To see anything during storm I must rotate GAIN ( max clockwise position ), then I see weather visualization but even then it is hard to see red areas, mostly everything is green. Before all updates I never touch or change GAIN, now to see something I must set it to max. Anyone else have similar experience ?

First off, I'd like to say how impressed I am with the PMDG 777! It was pretty darn easy transitioning to it, after flying all the other PMDG Boeings! Thanks for that. The SMALL issues I have are: - When I use Direct-X in FSX, I lose a couple pieces of interior textures. I have attached the differences for techie reivew. - Also, related to FMS features, when I try to enter an ATC fix, such as FH515 (for an arrival into Hahn, Germany), I get an unrecognized fix message; essentially, I cannot use local fixes, like I can with the 737, MD-11, and 747. Even Level-D and Q-Sim allow me to use these fixes. But not the Tripple-7. Be nice to have it back, if possible. …
