PMDG 777

Hi guys. On my opinion, I think that the pitchrate is too slow : I have the saitek yoke proflight yoke with the axis assigned in FSUIPC with -16383/0/+16383 and 0 in slope and I have the b777's yoke has the same deflection as my Saitek. I really need to make so big input in order to make pitch attitude correction. but when watching video on youthe , pilots only make little correction and the plane responds well. I'll provide a video tommorow, will be easier to understand what i mean. CMB

I have noticed that the OEW used by PMDG is 344224lbs while the Boeing document for airport planning give an OEW of 320000Lbs. Why is the PMDG aircraft so much heavier? All the other weights appear to broadly fit the Boeing document (http://www.boeing.com/boeing/commercial/airports/777.page) Rgds Ron

hello fallows, currently flying for thompson, easyjet virtual airlines with the 73-7 and 73-8, when the 777 is out i would like to keep my flights with VA, does anyone have any idea of a good* VA that operates the T7? thanks!

I want it :wub: , but I do not have the 777, it is very (very) expensive. Before I buy it, I want to know I will have the documents so I can learn how to fly it. PMDG's 777 page was not encouraging or informative. The paint_kit link is broken. The 777 Manuals & Training Aids link only showed kits, high quality, but with prices very very high. The description under the "documentation" item of the features list is impressive. But, the person writing the description is not likely to be the person producing the product so: I would like someone who has bought the plane to tell me "What documentation comes with the 777"? Thank you

Good morning, I was wondering if there will be any kind of performance manager that will let me reduce the virtual cockpit textures in a way similar to what I was able to do with the 737 NGX? I am finding that speeding up the sim to 4x is pretty disastrous, on anything but a dead straight section of route. At this rate wild oversteering occurs on even small changes of direction. At 2x it is just about manageable. At 8x, (as suggested in the manual you can do), it simply crashes! Not good enough for long haul flights, or is it just my problem? What are others experiencing? Hey, so i noticed when i am moving my mouse over the checklist it is moving very slow comparing to how it moves when i am moving it over something else. i have downloaded the latest fsuipc so it is not that. I have watched AOA's video on youtube, the mouse moves very smooth no how it is on mine. what do i do?

A slight off topic. I remember seeing a picture, I believe it was AC virual, that they had their ACARS software integrated in the777.If that picture was not bogus can somone advise which Air Canada virtual was?

Hello everyone. I am aware of the infamous joystick disconnect issue that has plagued the majority of Windows 8 users. Well, I'm experiencing a rather unique variation of this issue that I have yet to see other users of the PMDG 777 discuss. My controls only disconnect when using the PMDG 777. This is usually a result of switching to another window and switching back to FSX. The only way I am able to fix this is to launch the task manager and quickly switch back to FSX. This usually works, but can also result in FSX crashing. I know there are several proposed remedies to this issue, but I'm trying to figure out if they actually apply to me. Has anyone else experie…

Hi! I recently bought the 777, and I was astonished! Fantastic aircraft and everything but just one thing.. The sounds worked perfectly for the first 5-6 days I think but suddenly, it disappeared one day.. Any ideas on what I could do?

I lost my hard drive and when I went to my email to reload my airplanes I could not get my 777 that I payed $80 plus for!!! I was told by your site that my download link had expired. Then I find out that I have to purchase another service to download something I had already bought!! Highway robbery I tell you! I need some one at PMDG to send me another link for my 777, that I hold an activation key to, and that I purchase in good faith, so that I can re-install my purchase!! One extremely upset customer!! Hi Guys, A short while before SP1c and in this thread http://forum.avsim.net/topic/452139-pmdg-777-reverse-thrust-bug I posted regarding the bug preventing proper thrust reverse activation since the 777 originally released. Pre-SP1c it would briefly activate upon main gear touchdown, and then force out of reverse again. Reverse would ONLY activate upon main gear touchdown. I along with some other users reported this to the team via tickets and were informed the problem was identified and would be addressed in SP1c. Just wondering if anyone has comment or insight on a corner into which I flew myself yesterday :blush: I was roughly mid-route JFK-HKG overnight when I received the "fuel temp low" warning. New to me, I looked up its meaning and some suggested resolutions (CDU was set to warn at -38). I was cruising at that time pre-step and so was "only" at 33k. I dropped to 300 and increased speed to just below max allowed. The warning remained lit through the duration of the flight. Upon descending into HKG at approximately 180agl the left engine oil temp spiked into the red; didn't slowly climb, it jumped. As I pulled up checklists the same warning appeared for the right…

For those of you that have been wanting or looking for a paper checklist for the PMDG T7, I have created one and uploaded it to the library here. The idea for it was to create a more professional looking and normal operations checklist without all the expanded items (alarms, tests, etc). I just purchased PMDG 777 Base Package. After downloading (did not ask for Activation Key). When starting FSX and selecting PMDG777 a window appears with "Initialization of Licence Library Failed" Pressed OK and found when the aircraft came up I had no gauges (not sure if in cold and dark) and no wheels.and probably more can anyone help. OK so I have gotten most events to work, but I cant figure out how to set up the arrow keys to use for knob direction. Say for like the heading bug and a double click to engage heading. The PMDG 737 way doesn't work. Thank you for your help.

Hi all, I have searched for hours and cant find anything. I have HIDmacros and the 737ngx works great, but I try to program HIDMacros for the T7 and they don't work. I do get some odd switches when I program a different event. Like, call LeftClick ("PMDG_EVT_OH_LIGHTS_TAXI"), the wing light switch throws. I am Stumped, any advice is appreciated.

Hello guys. After formatting my computer and installing PMDG's 777 SP1C (both for the base package and the -300ER expansion) I noticed something rather odd with the throttle: I have the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke with its included Throttle Quadrant. I also have the latest FSUIPC 4.937. Since there's a known issue in which the throttle cannot sent directly to FSUIPC's calibration, I assigned the throttle lever axes individually through FSX's internal Controls menu. What happens is that, for example, when I have the engines in idle, and advance ONE of the levers a little to perform a single engine taxi (let's say engine ONE's lever), engine TWO's N1 automatically advances …

I followed instructions on how to use throttles with FSUIPC and got them working. I have the saitek yoke and throttle quadrants. How do I set up reverse thrust if I can't calibrate throttles in FSUIPC?

Hi, sorry if asked before, can't find any info on it and Pete Dowson didn't have an answer as well. How do I set up the exterior lights for the T7 using FSUIPC? Any answer/help/pointing me in the right direction, is appreciated
