Hi Guys, Recently purchased the new Airbus X (I know I'm posting in the PMDG forum!) which has to have a separate axis assigned to be able to steer the aircraft on the ground, using the tiller. I don't have a spare axis on my joystick and so had to change the controls in FSX to allow this. (I only changed the X axis once and then back by clicking 'restore to defaults' - This is the only thing I have changed using the controls and then reverted back). Started the PMDG 777 today, every other control seems to be working correctly now, apart from the nose wheel steering using the joystick - It simply doesn't turn the nosewheel. Wheather Radar Don't Work I've found the solution Check your FSUIPC installation. Re-instal your version of FSUIPC, then go to your FSX installation folder => Module => delete FSUIPC.ini. A new one will create when you'll start FSX. For an active WX Radar, just push AUTO and L/R buttons on Pedestal and WX button above ND. Hi all, I have a question about the step climb procedure on the T7: I know that you can planned a step climb at a waypoint by adding a S to the altitude. After doing this, will the A/C automatically initiate the climb to the step climb altitude at the selected waypoint, or do we have to update the FCU, sorry the MCP altitude tape and then press the the altitude knob ? there is also an " optimal step climb " calculate by the FMS, in the VNAV menu page 4, but it only has 3 pages iin the VNAV menu in the PMDG T7, so i don't know if this is not simulated but i dought it, as I'm new to the b777 ( Airbus enthusiastic ), I think it's more my fault. Good afternoon Some SIDs include a turn to intercept a radial or track where the turn is not executed in the shortest direction, but the opposite, leading to a turn of more than 180 degrees. Reason for this "loop" is mostly noise abatement. Examples are NORDI 1D in Larnaca (LCLK) or ALBIX 1R in Zürich (LSZH). Unfortunately, the 777 does a straight left turn in the Larnaca example, not flying the 240 degree loop to the right, but a 120 straight turn to the left. In the Zurich example, the ND flips back and forth between a left turn loop and a straight right turn, until it finally decides for one option or the other after takeoff. I have been practicing Go-Around's using the Procedure in FCOM 1 Page NP.21.47. For some reason after the G/A the ILS is removed from the RAD/NAV page in the CDU and is replaced with PARK, am I doing something wrong or is this normal ?

I notice that its only possible to adjust the freq in increments of 25 yet often atis and other airport frequencies require something in between therefore im unable to enter the necessary freq any reason for this? or way round it? tks kav

I am having an issue with my PMDG 777 Nav Data. Everything was working fine until I tried to install the airport VHHX. After I did install it by the instructions, the 777 would not recognize the airport or any other airport for that matter. I uninstalled the VHHX but it didn't help. My other 3 PMDG A/C 737, MD-11, 747 Nav Data works just fine and recognizes all the airports including the VHHX. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the 777 3 times but nothing seems to work. I regularly fly out of FAJS. I seem to have missing NAV data in the FMS as I receive an error message back saying nav data not found for that particular airport. Oddly though the FMS does find FALE. I may add that I have never experienced this problem with any of my other PMDG aircraft (e.g. 747-400, MD-11, 737NGX & J41). Any suggestions welcome. dear all When i zoom in the cockpit the display (ND PFD EICAS MCP...) flickering. Soon as the plane moves all instruments flickering.

I usually turn off AI when flying the T7 to improve frame rate and smoothness. I recently turned it back on - just the usual FSX stuff like Airline, GA and Airport Traffic. The traffic is there, I just can't see it. For instance, airliners at the gate or on the taxiways create holds etc. but all I see are the navigation and wingtip strobes. Same in the air - the aircraft labels are visible but not the aircraft themselves. Is there something in the setup of the T3 or other PMDG products that can "hide the AI traffic in FSX? This happens at regular FSX airports, FSDT addon airports, with or without photorealistic scenery and with GEX enabled. Any suggestions?

Hello ! Good day or night everybodies! Got a message on t7 FMC says :(amber) :"Unregistered". Found that after desinstalling and reinstall FSX. Everything functions normally ! just wonder why ??? Hi everybody, I'm writing here trying to solve an issue with FMC of the 777-300ER in particular. When I load a route on the FMC, program correctly the INIT REF page and uplink the winds both for FPL and for descend the LEGS page does not show any speed/altitude prediction for the flight. Just the constrains but nothing more. My VNAV is still engageable if I press the button two or three times on the MCP (otherwise the CDU shows VNAV UNAVAILABLE) but still no altitudes. I have also noticed that my CDU blinks rapidly sometimes when this issue happens and in the VNAV page the ECON SPD rapidly changes from magenta to white and back again. I had no problems with the base PMDG 200 series. I updated to Sp1 and now I can't turn any knobs. I can click buttons but not turn knobs. That makes it quite difficult to do anything in the aircraft. Any solutions. I use to just right click the direction and it would turn, no nothing. i did reset and now is working. thank you.

Pilots, Maybe I am missing something but my CLB mode does not change in CRS mode when I reach cruise! I have to do change this manually. What am I missing here, is it a setting? Regards Robert

Fellow 777 pilots, I've recently started flying longer routes since the release of the 300ER. However, I am somewhat perplexed when it comes to the operation of the center fuel tank. On some routes, there is barely any in the center tank. Maybe 4000 kilograms. In this situation, using the center pumps on the ground produces a "Fuel Low Center" EICAS warning. However, if I leave them off, a "Fuel In Center" EICAS warning is displayed once I am established in my climb. Does anyone have any information on how to properly operate the center fuel tank when in this situation? I know the 737 center tanks are meant to be switched on after 10,000 feet if there is less than…

Hello im getting some horrible fps on the 777. I fly the 737 aswell and im getting about 25-35 on the 737 and 10-20 on the 777. While landing I have the Speedbrakes Armed prior to landing and as expected they deploy when the reversers are activated during the landing roll. However, if I increase the throttles very slightly so I can continue taxying off the runway the Speedbrakes move to the OFF position. According to FCOM 2 page 9.20.18 they should remain UP unless either thrust lever moves to the Takeoff Position, so this shouldn't happen. In settings I have the 'A/T Manual Override' function to Never so my joystick doesn't interfere with any Autothrottle function. Is this a bug or am I missing something ?

This just started recently. As soon as I hit cruise altitude I get wild buffeting, so for test purposes I disabled OPUS and set fsx to clear skies and disabled thermal and turbulence and still get buffeting. It will reduce as I reduce airspeed down to 200kt but becomes difficult to control anything above that. Any ideas out there?

This problem also has an impact on the Performance but i didnt see any other issues. Anyone else having this Problem? If so, how to fix?

Hey pilot's, After installing SP1C for the 777, i have the problem that i couldn't see my aircraft at the gate . The thing i can see is the VC. I installed sp1c as admin and before installing sp1c everything worked fine but now i got this issue. Please help Thanks
