PMDG 777

Whenever a start a flight within the U.S. the PMDG systems do not load up in the addons column of FSX and so the FMC throttles and other systems do not work however if I load up somewhere outside of the U.S. ie the UK then all the systems are fine and it works a dream. I don't know if this is a PMDG fault or a FSX fault.

Hi everyone. My first flight with 1c installed and as I approach NTAA (by Flightscene) the autopilot would keep disconnecting. I have been flying this bird since day 1 so I am not an expert just VERY familiar and all systems were normal. Any others had similar? Kind Regards Dave Rawlings

Hi, on my latest flights I´ve been experiencing something weird. At the very beginig of the descent, just after reaching the TOD, I get a "drag required" message, even if I am going a bit slow and high on the VNAV Path. Then, fmc speed drops to 0. I disengage the A/P, handfly it a little bit, reset the F/Ds, and then, after a couple of times doing this process, i leave the A/P on, but i control myself the vnav speed, pressing the speed knob. Finally, when I reach FL200, approximately, everything goes back to normal and works as expected. I know it isn´t a pilot error, because before the SP1, I did the same things and procedures, but this didnt happen. Thanks in adva…

Hi, I have started following the tutorial of the 777 and are now having a fuel issue with it. At the top of climb i had still expected 7200kg of fuel at OMDB, but not even halfway of the flight this dropped to only 500kg expected. I added 7000kg of fuel (should not be done, but I want to complete the flight), and it was briefly on expected 7000kg at destination, but now a few minutes later it is again 5000kg. Things that I have checked: - Flaps up - Gear up - Speedbrake not armed - N1 setting and temperature set correctly - No fuel dump active - Static weather theme without winds enabled Anyone has a clue what can cause this issue? Hey does anyone else have the same problem I do? For some reason when I switch from VC view to Aircraft view in EZDOK, I'm still stuck in VC view. No aircraft, no anything for me to have my aircraft views. This happened as well when I installed 1b. I tried reloading my PMDG camera set for EZDOK, and still, no luck. I'm befuddled at the function of automatic v-speed calculation because for a full power take-off, flaps 20, on a 14,000 ft runway it's not giving me any V-speeds suggestions. Or am I asking too much of the plane? Luc

Hey Team 　 Lovely and smooth flying experienced by this pilot with the SP1 and -300ER. 　 Minor annoying issue; On my last 2 long-haul flights, >12 hours, I’m getting no braking on landing. Hi guys, When I power the aircraft up from cold and dark, the PFD and ND show up normally as if aligned even though the ADIRU is selected OFF on ovhd (artificial horizon/asi/altimeter/ND position indicator all present). It is only when the alignment process commences that the instruments go black and the bugs appear as one would expect. My question is: is this how it happens on the real aircraft? Not questioning PMDG accuracy on these matters, which I know to be superb. I just wondered whether this happened on the real aircraft or whether it is a teenie bug/glitch. Hey guys, since sp1 the rudder of the T7 (Both 200LR and 300ER) are always centered, even in cold & dark without any hydraulic system on. It does move correctly though, when hydraulics are turned on... I'm I missing something there, or did I just detect a bug?

Since I updated to SP1c I get the following warning message when I load FSX RAAS Professional The R4,CSV file in MISSING! I have RAAS switched off in the MCDU options to save on VAS, so I don't use RAAS. But clearly the file should still be present. I never had the missing file warning before. Would be nice to get the file resored or be able to prevent the warning at least. I'm not sure if this is related to my Aerosoft Airbus A319 addon. This also has RAAS Pro. When I reinstalled that to incorporate SP1 recently I opted not to install RAAS. I don't see how this could have affected the 777 install, but the warnings only started after installing SP1c over t…

Hi, I'm interested in buying the pmdg 777 to play on a 21.5" Imac (late 2013). I will off course use bootcamp for windows 7. My question is will the Nvidia Geforce GT 750M graphic card with 1GB of GDDR5 memory be sufficient to play this sim? The rest of the imac specs are: i5 2.9Ghz quad core (turbo boost up to 3.6Ghz with 6MB L3 cache) 8 GB ram 1 TB 5400rpm hard drive I will appreciate a quick answer. thks

Hi Folks, I encountered an issue the other night after the install of SP1c. I use FSInn to connect to VATSIM. When I tried to start the FSInn Control Panel, all of FSX freezes where I have to kill it with the task manager. This only occurs when I'm in the 777. If I start FSInn while in other aircraft, it's fine. I uninstalled all my liveries except for PMDG House through the operations center and things worked fine. I successfully re-installed the United livery. That worked fine as well. I have yet to reinstall the others. My setup: Win7, 64bit w/ AMD 6870 Vid, 12GB mem. FSX with 777-200LRX. I did a few searches for the past few days on others who haven't gotten the auto step climb to work... and haven't been able to have any luck myself. First, the option is 'ON' in the FMC settings. The altitude setting on the MCP is either at or higher than the step required. I have just let the plane fly, expecting to 'step up' at the FMC targeted step climb, with no luck. I have added the 'S' at the end of an altitude setting in the 'leg's option in FMC, with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I was planning a flight from OMDB to YSSY on Simbrief including ETOPS with the 777. There are some things that I dont understand and maybe someone can help me with that. At first there is the ETOPS entry point. In this case it ist 60 minutes flighttime from OOMS. Is that correct? How do I program that point in my FMC? What exactly does it mean when I pass that ETOPS entry point? Does it mean in case of an emergency I divert to the first ETOPS alternate VCBI in this case even if OOMS airport is closer? The next point is the ETP1. Am I right that this is the point where I decide wether to go to back to VCBI or continue to WADD in case of an emergency? Wha…

Hi all, Just a quick question - I know the GE-90-115B general thrust rating (115,000 lbs) but what about this derivative 115B "1L" - I cannot seem to find much on the net about the "1-L" suffix.....is this a reduced thrust variant? I noticed Etihad is flying some old Air India machines with these engines, and I am just curious about this for flight planning with the PMDG 777LR.

Hi, As everyone has been doing, I downloaded the Service pack of the 777 yesterday. To start off with it's a GREAT update, especially the Weather Radar. When I installed it and did everything necessary, I went to start my flight and up to my disappointment the Radar didn't show anything, and yes, in stormy weather! It just says - WX+T +2M VAR I tried changing gain but not even one piece of Green block showed up. Once again, a great update, but I'd highly appreciate any solutions. Thanks in advance!

Just started reflying 777 since SP1c and can't remember the key combination for time acceleration. Wan't there also an option in FMS also for this. Has this moved. I have RTFM and have searched but not found. Found it - it is called Auto Cruise in the Tutorial and Time Acceleration in the Intro hence the confusion on searching. Peter Rowan
