PMDG 777

I have been looking for a list of new function from the Service Packs especially the last one but can't find that anywhere. I would have thought that it would be a pinned message on this forum. Looked on PMDG's web site where I can download them but no change list Peter Rowan

Hi all, my 777-200 (with BA livery) periodically emits a soft ding while enroute on long flights. No warnings, no lights, no messages, no apparent reason I can imagine. To be clear, this is not the pilot attention request alert. Any clue on the reasons for this sound ? Thanks a lot ! Aldo

can anybody tell me why on an ILS approach my G/S does not come active even though the LOC does. The APP button is selected and the frequency is correct. This is a new problem for me as I have been flying this aircraft since launch day. FYI I have recently on my FMC being in PMDG setup so may have clicked the wrong button along the line

Hi Guys, I am receiving "No Autoland" eicas message. ILS frequency is enetered on FMS-CDU NAV RADIO and both are displayed on captan's and first officer NDs. What can be the problem? I checked the manual but could't find what is the reason.

Hello folks! Long time no see! my T7 was working perfect, bought the expansion T7-300 and worked perfect. Today however saw the SP1b and installed, now every time I move the mouse to turn the SeatBelts signs of or start an engine or interact with the 77 my screen freezes momentarily, then everything starts working away when I stop the pointer (mouse), then I move the pointer again and all stops, then I keep the mouse steady and all works again. What is happening here? Anyway to revert to a previous version? Not liking this update so far.

Hi, I have PMDG 777-300ER, GSX and Multi Crew Experience. When I press control-j to connect the Jetway, it connects to Door 2 on the left hand side, and when GSX starts boarding it requests door 1 to be openend and MCE opens door 1. How do I fix this, easiest would be make the jetway connect to door 1 on the left side. I am using default scenery and the default FSX jetway... Appreciate your advise. Thanks Hari

Hey. IN T7 you've got something like "POS REPORT". It is very helpful in flight from Europe to USA (for example). It is working on VATSIM? I mean, Gander and Shanwick Oceanic will se this report?

I just bought the 777 this morning, and I am so very impressed. However, two test flights so far interrupted by FSX messing around (what's new?) First time was a fatal error. This was under 'normal' operations with Traffic 2 running, and Radar Contact for ATC. OK, I thought. maybe I will have to run this with traffic and radar contact OFF. Second flight was under these conditions. However, this time, I lost joystick connectivity. I have researched this in the past and I have always prevented it by minimising memory usage. The problem is that I can't really do any more to free up performance. In both cases, the sim is running smoothly with no problems…

Hi all When I dis connect the auto pilot the warning siren sounds ...but it will not stop even after pressing the necessary buttons etc it will only stop if I re activate the auto pilot...I have tried re installing but no change I have the 777-200 base pack plus up dates and the 300 expansion.. Hi all, I am having problems starting Fsinn when I have loaded the 777, I load Fsx select my airport and the 777, I wait for the 777 to initialise and then try and load Fsinn from the menu bar but Fsx freezes up. If I load say the trike first then load fsinn then select the 777 all is ok. Before having the 777 I used use the Ngx and pmdg 747 with fsinn without issues., I now can't use these without loading a default aircraft first. Mark.

Hi all, I know about the errors that come from the discrepancy between later FMC databases and the earlier default nav info, but I just installed the latest update for Aerosoft's Anchorage X, which changes rwy 14 to rwy 15, and supposedly the ILS as well. I did this because the FMC had an error alert for no runway 15 and would show no info for ANC. After the scenery update the FMC is still not showing any SIDs, STARS, or runways, even though the info on the FSX map view shows the new numbers so I assumed all the relevant AFCAD stuff was changed. I've had to manually enter the nav info for Kai Tak, but there has to be a better way. What should be my next step…

Anyone that could help please feel free to e-mail also [email protected] I have FSX and PMDG 777-200LR which I love and after learning how to flight through some videos on youtube. (Thank you) I was able to make a couple of flights. I notice that now every time that I load the plane and the flight plan from PFPX even that it is IFR the comunication page on the FSX is showing as if it was VFR and I don't know how to change it. I try to open the flight plan and safe it as IFR again and nothing. Please help! Thank you in advance for your kind and prompt answer

I had to unload the 777-200 and 777-300 as had to reinstall FSX. I follow correct procedure, de-registering via the FMC first then un-installing it etc. I went to load back in, loaded the 200 first and put in my licence, ran FSX and then I loaded the 300, It will not show up in the operations centre or in FSX. I have loaded the 300 twice. Anyone know why? And how to fix this issue? Also when I load up the 200 I get the following errors: Failed to load texture: $WINGLIGHT $FLAPSTCLLIGHT $CABINLIGHT $MLGHB Any ideas how to fix this also?

I've been with PMDG for quite sometime now and I think this is long overdue. So I quit FSX for awhile because of frustration with all these crashes. But then today I tried it again. As I didn't know the problem, I was just searching around and saw there was a 777 update. So I saw what new things had come out blah blah blah. And then I saw about the OOM fix. This just for some reason, after going through all the steps that PMDG had given us in their manual, I have it fixed. I'm just thinking about about how long this took to make and all the steps and all the Kostas things they found. I know they didn't have to do this, but I am truly thankful for it. I went to the Pmdg website innto livery downloads and do not see the 777 listed. I know it was there because I added a lot of liveries out of it several months ago. Whats going on there? bensmini

Hello, I have the problem for activation, I followed the steps from the forum, to accomplish a full removal and clean install of the PMDG 777-200LR/F. The PMDG 777-200LR / F. work fine. The PMDG 777-300ER I was unable to activate. Thanks a lot; João Siqueira.

Hello, I'm trying to activate the 777 on FSX SP2 Windows 8.1. But I got this message after entering the serial: "Unable to connect to activation server" and few seconds later it shows "invalid serial number". How can I fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Sauqy

Happy New Years everybody Say, I am having issues with my engines staying on. I do my normal cold set up like always. Just when I am starting to taxi my engines stop running for a few secs and then come back online. You would never know when it does it. I could be in flight and they would shut down and the come back online. I am not getting any messages saying that there are issues. I have never had this problem before and it flights just great until recently. Any ideas for me? Jason

Hi, After many hours in the 777, I seem to have encountered my first real problem. Since I installed SP1, I have deleted my old panestates and started off with a new C&D and save it after every flight, just like I did before (pre-sp1). Today, however, after a long preflight with no problems, receiving pushback, starting engine #2 (successfully), my #1 engine just wouldn't start! :( I have tried disabling auto-start, using a ground-start-unit, using x-bleed, etc. Nothing seems to work. No failures show up and reloading the aircraft and FSX several times didn't work. Am I doing something wrong or does it seem I have encountered a bug? My pane…

So I finally redo flightsim again, completely, according to these instructions (http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx). Now, I am NOT going with naked Accel 2, that's like going back to the age of stone, but I ONLY install these: Fresh FSX.CFG with only HIGHMEMFIX=1; BP=0 No NVidiaInspector settings yet REX Texture Direct - with EVERYTHING turned down to the lowest level GEX - All Regions UTX - All Regions - traffic turned off, everything turned off that shows "high load" (smaller roads, smaller streams, extrusion bridges, all that Jazz). Exception, I did leave the UTX street/road lights on. UT2 - 50% airliners…

THe title says it all. The Aeromexico 77L repaint has a Star Alliance sticker on the fuselage. It should be a Skyteam sticker. Maybe that could be corrected and updated. Thansk for an otherwise absolutely wonderful plane. Chris
